Hii, i have same model want to upgrade with SSD 2.5" and remove optane memory, I have no idea about boot setup or optane memory will you help me what prior and after setting I have to do
Hi, I've got the same exact model but without the built-in 2,5'' HDD meaning I only have the M.2 SATA with 256 GB. Whenever I connect a new 1TB 2,5'' SSD to the board my laptop won't boot, so if I connect it the Acer logo appears and I can't enter the BIOS menu. This doesn't change even if I remove the M.2 Sata or clone everything including Windows onto the new 2,5'' SSD. What can I do?? I just want some more storage, that's all.
Same issue, I tried to add Samsung Evo 870 500gb 2.5" SSD replacing factory fitted normal HDD. Laptop freezes when I connect SSD and even cannot enter bios. I have one question, if I replace 16gb factory fitted Intel optane memory with m.2 SSD, does it work? If it works what is the maximum capacity supported? Kindly provide the link of the m.2 SSD . Also, any changes have to be made in bios? Thank you
