  • If you own a screwdriver and a socket wrench you can replace and upgrade the headlights on your Ford van. I am SO HAPPY with these new LED headlights -- they light up the road without blinding everybody else. My van is a 2007 Ford E250 but the headlights should be the same on any 99-07 Ford E-Series Van. Here are the products that appear in this video:
    HWSTAR LED headlights: amzn.to/3uugsAD
    Ryobi Drill (P215BN): amzn.to/3STuJB8
    Stanley Screwdriver (6-Way All-in-One): amzn.to/3MV0Lso
Craftsman 7 Piece SAE Nut Driver Set: amzn.to/3RbaJIR
    Black Latex-Free Disposable Gloves100 Count): amzn.to/47qI6Nx
    Magnetic Telescoping Pick-up Tool: amzn.to/47JEOob
Simple Green All Purpose Cleaner: amzn.to/40RU5B1
If you have any questions or feedback, reach out. I have learned a lot about my van through RUclips and hope this helps someone else. -Big Rob's Van.

Just bought me a 2001 e150. This is the first upgrade I’m doing. Waiting on Amazon right now. Good video!

Heck yeah, welcome to the Ford van family! (Vamily?) Good luck with the install, it is pretty straight forward.

Great video. I have those same nut drivers, and I got them about 30 years ago too. It is refreshing to see a headlight replacement that doesn't require pulling the front bumper.

My dad bought me a lot of tools when I was in my 20s that I had no idea what to do with. Now I'm 50 and use them all the time -- glad I saved them!!

Nice tutorial Rob, the Max air fan is still the best though 🙂

This one required less sawing of metal, but that's always a possibility with one of my projects.

Sorry if you covered this, but does the turn signal work on the Econoline?

Yup! The turn signals are unaffected and still work fine.

On my wife's old Honda, you had to replace the bulbs by reaching in between the tire and the fender and working your arm forward toward the front bumper. The headlights on this van may be the easiest ones I've ever done. Honda, take notes!

I need to do this. I replaced the actual bulbs, but it required adaptors, etc. and they don't really work to my liking. Plus I had the "full" lights, which didn't have retainer clips, so I gotta hunt those down too.
You having any RF interference issues?

I didn't want to respond until I did additional testing. I drove around with the radio on a bit and tried the lights on low and high and did not hear any interference.

I thought it was just my van. I may end up 3D printing a little shim to angle them up slightly.

Thanks, man. I'm sticking with these stock rims and rubber for the stealth look, but I really like that slightly lifted look too so I'm torn. I might need a second van for some off-roadin' fun.
