I love the offices! The decor is so Arizona and the colors just blend so great together.
I have the tiered island and if we weren't moving we would had changed it and had a single tub sink put in as well. Keep the main cabinets but yes, just add new fronts, so much easier on the budget and you don't have to remove everything. (Depending on contractor)
Yes, add the extra curtain to the patio door so that the corner will look complete. It won't be that bad. Could even attach both rods to look like one.
You are doing great and just between you and me I like the pendant light, but to compromise was also a good choice. Love to see shorter deep clean videos if possible.

... in my opinion, I think the clock is set a bit too high in Kyle's office - it would look better /more balanced if it comes down so the top is even or a little lower than the top of the metal shelf brackets.
I agree, great video, love all the changes in the offices and I agree about the clock, it needs to be a little lower or something else maybe underneath it to balance the room a little better in my opinion. :)

Love these quick updates! Super cute :) A trick I learned from my mom: keep a small mason jar with your wall paint under your kitchen sink for touch-ups. That way you don’t have to get out your 5 gallon bucket every time! :)

Maybe try that peel and stick frosted glass look on the sliders, so you keep all the light with a bit more privacy. The bigger light fixture over the table feels more substantial 👍. Both offices look amazing. Can't wait to see the framed mural on the wall in the office🤞
Love how the house is coming together! My opinion is.. continue with wood frame on Kyles office with canvas. My I suggest switching clock and prints so that wall with the tall shelves is balanced. And maybe try putting up curtains on that slider or mock put up so u can see if you think it might be too much! I think curtains and a rug always ground a room!! Love it all!!

The pretty window in Kyle's office is the focal point in that room. It was totally lost with stuff beside it and all around it. Let some walls stand on their own, that's the idea behind a statement wall (one that is painted a different color than the rest). Restraint, less is more sometimes ya know. This is my professional opinion. If you like it, that's all that matters. Keep going strong, you all are a super sweet family. 🦋🙏✝️
I love how the paint colors really changed the look of both your offices. I also love the random nerf bullets around your house 😂I would vote no on the patio door curtain, little boy hands going in and out -- and Emma too -- would make it the white hard to keep up with. I think the evergreen fog color on the island will be so good...can't wait to see it!

Suggestions: For the ends of the cabinets, they make a thin board you can pick up at lowes/ home depot/ etc (usually by the cabinets or lumber). Use this on the ends of the cabinets and you can paint, this will help avoid further pealing and it is actually wood.
Second suggestion is to get curtains like the color of evergreen fog for the kitchen area. This will make your pendant pop like you want and will tie in the island when you paint it and the built ins.
It’s always nice to see your husband get involved with the cleaning and home decorating

You can add a piece of 1/4” panel, MDF since you are painting, on those cabinet ends that are peeling. They can be tucked behind the face frame to give you a flush end. Your home looks great with the changes you are making!
I LOVE how everything is looking in the house, and can’t wait to see the kitchen transformation! It would be fun to see the shorter spring cleaning videos focused on different spaces, and maybe include any new organization ideas for those areas as well.

Hi Amanda, I was kind of thinking about what you can put on that wall as I was thinking about the wooden map that you had in your basement of your Utah home. It would be awesome if you can put in and then put a pin were Arizona is. Just a thought!!

I used to not be a person who kept my house clean, not because I didn't want to but health wise I just couldn't. Since watching your videos I love to keep my house clean, and I have lost 20+ lbs because I'm up and being more active. You are so motivating, and I love your personality. Love how your offices turned out! I know you have mentioned how much Kyle loved the print that was in his office, and I think framed would fill that wall really well, and I think your extra pendant light would look great painted black in the kitchen...and Kyle might like it better too..lol

Hi Amanda and Kyle I think the canvas with some wood around it on Kyle’s office wall would look great your offices look so nice your house is really looking beautiful.Looking forward to seeing your kitchen being updated,on the end cabinet where the cabinet is peeling could you get a piece of wood fit to size then you could paint over it ? Kitchen curtains and patio curtains in your kitchen would look beautiful and soften it up a bit .The time change is Tiring that hour really effects you have a great week! 😃
Love your plans for the kitchen. I agree with you on the single basin sink...it is so much more functional than the double basin! I also have a double basin sink and I miss my single basin sink so much! As for whether you should add curtains on your slider door, I don't think it is necessary since you will have them on the window next to it.
In my house we like to put the fruit in the fridge because we like to eat it cold.

White cabinets would be such a classic look. I can see the yellow in the current cabinet color. I love your ideas for the kitchen. One suggestion, putting new granite on existing cabinets can be a bit challenging if the cabinets aren’t level. We experienced that in our current home. I would make sure the granite installers can tackle that issue. Your home is looking great!

The only zone-out chore I do is mowing the lawn. Between my yard and the neighbors yard I mow about 3 acres. It’s totally relaxing and is my favorite chore.
I think the curtains on slider door could definitely work. Can’t wait for kitchen transformation. And do love how you hang your rods with the leather straps.
Also for your cabinet door that is falling off, use a wooden tooth pick or wooden golf tee depending on the size of the hole. Break the wood off on the current hole, then re-drill the hole needed.

Put your fiddle leaf outside where it gets light and water. Mine did that and I put it on the patio.. it started flowing and now has branches. I think that they just don't get enough light inside. Oh, I also refreshed the potting soil. Scooped out about half and added new soil. That was a couple years ago. Now I have to prune it occasionly.
Hi Amanda, the bookcase looks really nice as well as the curtains in your dining room. I think if you spray paint the pendant light black it will flow better from your kitchen to your dining room and it won’t get lost in all the light coming trough the big window.
I think you should record yourself cleaning each area of your gorgeous house, and post them split up into separate videos and then maybe at the end of each month put a big one together that’s a couple hours so the people who like to focus on some areas can be happy and the people who like to binge 3 hour long cleaning videos will be happy too. I’m happy with any and all I love it all 😍

Love that the island will be in the greenish colour! I kinda like the two level island because it kinda hides the sink and the dishsoap and stuff. That way you can’t really see those things from the living room 😇

hey Amanda and fam. I think you should leave the wall in Kyle's office bare. There is enough decor. that is a perfect amount of negative space to balance everything out so the walls won't have TOO much decor. My zoning out chore is actually laundry lol the only thing I don't like about laundry is putting everything away. But best believe when I'm folding and sorting, I don't even realize I'm doing it and I'm done before I know it! Great video as always, can't wait for more!!
Well first off Amanda I could watch you all day long, with that said I would love to watch super long videos of your spring cleaning I just think that is the coolest thing to be able to watch one long video personally
For Kyle’s office I would center his couch under the window and add another bookshelf to the other side of the window. I’d make a backer board “frame” for the canvas you bought and stain it to match the shelves.
The offices look amazing & I love the music in this video! I can zone out on the dishes sometimes as well. But could fold laundry for hours.

You should add the map you had in your last house in the basement .It is a big enough wall to support it. I keep ours in the refrigerator, but would love to keep it on the counter it goes bad so fast. Like bread in the pantry with the heat in Southern California it just doesn’t last long. I think both light work well in the room. I think you could add a curtain to the sliding glass door with no problem.
My Kitchen is the first I clean & maintain regularly I just feel if my Kitchen is clean it just sets the tone to the rest of my home. I keep the fruit out that reminds us to eat plus adds decor and the fruit that we eat regularly like Oranges, Mangoes I love them cold, there just refreshing to me cold, I keep those in the fridge.
I agree with you. I think the pendant like in your office would look better (leave it in its natural color) over the kitchen table than the one already in place. Just my opinion and my preference. I love all the past projects and the ones in this video. Y’all have done some magazine quality projects. Great job.

The white curtains really brought out the color in the walls! Before you put them up, the Pale Oak looked almost white. I love it!

I think I like the idea of large photos/black and white of the boys placed there. These could be updated each year but a lovely reminder of why you are 'doing' what you are doing. Sometimes, it is best to just live in the space a little while and maybe have some openness and not fill all the spaces.
You can buy bondo for wood to fill any cracks and holes in wood. Sand it down once cures and it’s ready to paint.

Great video i love how both your offices turned out, I have a mini fridge in my home office / craft room to hide it i have a cabinet the fridge wouldn't fit so I had to cut the back off now it fits perfectly and also good to have storage too , in my dining room I have similar windows with a slider glass door right next to each other I added blackout curtains and I love it
I happily zone out when I'm making beds. It's just so satisfying smoothing out wrinkles and straightening up...it's cleaning floors that drive me crazy even after all these years! I like short cleaning videos and lots of decorating or projects. Loved how the office projects came out!

You can also buy the wood map, it would look beautiful. Also just a suggestion if you move the sofa close to the new shelf unit you may fit the black file cabinet and use it has a side table. Can wait to see you next monday

I love the colors and plans for your kitchen! Your home is coming together beautifully! I would try adding more curtains across the entire dining room wall and extend the rod to cover the whole wall. That would give the illusion of symmetry. I would also move the couch in Kyle’s office closer to the bookshelf - again for better balance of the room. Your office is perfect!!!!
I think the blank wall in Kyle's office looks good as is and doesn't clutter up the space... it looks clean.
And I think a black light fixture of some sort would look good in your dining area. Maybe black metal to tie in with your cabinet hardware, since you're keeping that. 🤷🏻♀️

Great job on the two offices. The kitchen redo for your counter tops is a great idea. I’m not a white farm house design however definitely the change will look great for sure. For the curtains solely in the eat in area I did toppers. Either way they add texture. The new curtain so super high but it turned out great!
Both offices look really great! Love that shelf! You have made very good use of that broken cutting board. I hoped you would keep it since it broke very artistically.
We keep our fruit in both the fridge and countertop too. I like cold citrus and apples husband doesn’t also it does help to have them as a snack seeing them on the table or counter makes a great reminder!
