1:23 le wild Chopin appears :o Edit: 1:23-1:35 - Fréderic Chopin - Waltz No.07 in C sharp minor, Op.64 No.2 1:37-2:18 - Fréderic Chopin - Impromptu No.4 in C sharp minor, Op.posth.66 (BI 87) (Fantaisie-Impromptu) 2:20-2:47 - Franz Liszt - La Campanella (thanks John Lyon!) (with variations)
you're one of the most talented people on the planet and you randomly have a roommate who's also one of the most talented piano players I've ever heard in my life? This is too unreal
My mind is blown. Loved how you threw so many famous classical pieces in there. How you connected them all together was absolutely genius! Awesome job!
Mpaxx Wayne there was liszt and chopin for example chopins 64 no 2 or his fanatasy impromptu and La campanella was originally from paganini and then transcripted by liszt
To both you and ILLestDIRECTION, you two have just repaired a bit of my faith in the internet. To actually see people resolving an argument in an adult fashion is rare these days. Kudos to the both of you. Oh, and all my love to the makers of this video too. Brilliant!
I mean this guy is talented as all hell. But labeling this video Mario medley is a little bit weird it's like 30 seconds of mario then Chopin, Liszt, and a bunch of other composers pieces.
+Evan Jermyn Exactly. He plays the Mario Theme in the style of thoose pieces. At some points he drifts of into the original only to come back to the Mario Theme. Wonderful arrangement. One could even say he plays Variations of the Mario Theme inspired by different pieces
god the amount of grand pianos u have is unreal. first u have a yamaha, then a baldwin and a steinway? just promise me one thing, next time u are getting rid of yet a 4th grand piano just make sure im at the window ready to catch it.
LA CAMPANELLA AND FANTASIE IMPROMPTU MY HEART LITERALLY STOPPED. TWO OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CLASSICAL PIECES EDGED INTO THIS MEDLEY, IT WAS BEYOND SPECTACULAR THANK YOU FOR TAKING MY BREATH AWAY
Toni Blackbird To be honest, that is ACTUALLY one of the simplest things he did in the whole thing... :o I'm way far from his level and I can do it, that's easy... but the rest, wow that's amazinnnngggg
might be, happens to me when i see people amazed by simple guitar stuff, but i dont know, the speed of his hands playing those octaves looks un human, i mean, its a realy big movement going on at a very high speed, it might be musically simple, and the fingering might be simple but its just insane to watch someone moving his hands at such speed
Toni Blackbird it's the easiest part of the whole video, in reality basically, he locks his hand in a position (an octave length) and just goes up or down on the keys, way simpler because both hands do the same, the crazy stuff he does with moving his hands separetely is more impressive!
Jesus man, DAT TECHNIQUE. Yeah, that's as moronic as a comment can get, then again that's how impressed i am. The Zelda medley brought actual tears to my eyes. Thank you.
I enjoyed this one more than the LoZ medley, because the flourishes he uses are put in the right areas with a proper tempo. the flourishes also fit in very well with the jazzy feeling at the begining
Everyone is saying that this isn't really a Mario medley but you can hear notes from Mario's theme interspersed in with Chopin and Listz which brings it all together. Plus that triumphant Mario theme at the end is kind of a way of saying that Nintendo's music can hold its own with the classical greats.
***** IKR. Regardless, this was still a pretty good cover, but I wish that the Super Mario Bros. 2 would be thrown in. It sounds PERFECT with the piano
Sorry, you have reached your download limit for this file Go to homepage WTF???????? I bought Mario score at June 2014 but I can't download now!!! plz fixed bug :(
OMG - I'm in love...with his hands of course....My favorite child hood game theme song mashed together with my favorite composer Chopin!!!! - YOU ROCK DUDE!!!!!!!!!!
wow, at first, i was paralysed, because i thought: ' this isn't mario... cO!?' and suddenly Franz List 'La Campanella', and then i got flashed and mindblowed :D (I know, Chopin is in this medley too, but i only his name and in my opinion, List shall not miss in this commentary) Great work, please much more!
I honestly think this is my favorite video on youtube... I know its a medley with a bunch of high level classical music imposed, but would seriously be awesome to see get this on some sheet music.. :D SO AWESOME!
i freakin love this guy's arrangements...it's interesting to hear classics like the fantasie impromptu played by jazz influenced hands...the feel is just totally different.
Please more video of him on your chanel , he is really amazing !! And his zelda medley is just.... whoua !!!!!! He is really tallented !!!! I hope i played like him one day :)
You should seriously compose that because I mean I am speechless because you put old school legends with a video game I mean who does this!!!!!!!!! Great idea!!!!! I would buy that sheet music :)
0:58 Valse, Op 64, No. 1, Chopin
1:23 Valse, Op 64, No. 2, Chopin
1:46 Fantasie-Impromptu, Posthumous, Op. 66, Chopin
2:20 Etude No 3, La Campanella, Liszt
and then?
2:35?
HunTEr Same!
Thank you (Y)
Damn my favorites Mario games !
That transition between Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu to Liszt's La Campanella was FLAWLESS.
Agreed, it I weren't aware that they were two separate tunes, I would have just assumed it was one.
HAHA, seriously. I cracked the fuck up when that happened. SO GOOD. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD
All of the transitions are great
1:23 le wild Chopin appears :o
Edit:
1:23-1:35 - Fréderic Chopin - Waltz No.07 in C sharp minor, Op.64 No.2
1:37-2:18 - Fréderic Chopin - Impromptu No.4 in C sharp minor, Op.posth.66 (BI 87) (Fantaisie-Impromptu)
2:20-2:47 - Franz Liszt - La Campanella (thanks John Lyon!) (with variations)
ozkari93 Im glad im not the only one that caught that
ozkari93 My favorite Waltz
ozkari93 That Chopin, holly shit, I had goosebumps :)
ozkari93 May I know what is the song of that waltz ?? PLEASE ! :)
ozkari93 There's also Listz's 'La Campanella' at 2:20 :DDD
I feel like mario got a little lost in this medley, better have luigi search for him...
Mario? *Luigi with a flashlight*
Alright, but I'm gonna need the Poltergust 5000.
Thank you &l, but your medley is in another castle!
ItzDecGaming fucks the whole toad kingdom
&I luigis mansion was great
you're one of the most talented people on the planet and you randomly have a roommate who's also one of the most talented piano players I've ever heard in my life? This is too unreal
:Illuminatis:
You have ever seen a classsic pianist , 45min of piano
@matteo G I have no idea what you're saying. your grammar is too vague there
Sorry , I'm not english but you must to see chopin , mozart , lizst..
yes , it's true! But with work every pianist ( true pianist ) can play that !
this is incredible. A Mario, Chopin and Liszt combination is superb.
What a pianist! So brilliant...always a great pleasure to listen to. Mario, chopin and lizst united in spectacular fashion. Thrill guaranteed.
My mind is blown. Loved how you threw so many famous classical pieces in there. How you connected them all together was absolutely genius! Awesome job!
Bravissimo! Una bella carrellata musicale, un compleanno coi fiocchi!!
🎀🎁🎶🎹
more of a mash between classic and Mario than an actual medley, but hey, it's awesome!
Better than a Medley, I'd say
I don't think you guys realize this but Chopin was used in Mario such as Mario Galaxy one and two
Anthony Papetti where?
@@Medoliena where please?
Yup.
Most of the songs are very similar to waltz
what does Chopin searchs in Mario? :D Isnt it more a Chopin Medley?
and isnt that La Campanella what Im hearing?
Mpaxx Wayne there was liszt and chopin for example chopins 64 no 2 or his fanatasy impromptu and La campanella was originally from paganini and then transcripted by liszt
That's a damn good rendition of La Campanella...
추억이다...옛날에 우연히 네이버 동영상에서 봤는데 그때가 벌써 10년전...옛날생각 나네
How in the hell does a man transition from Chopin to Liszt that perfectly! This is insane!
I love the random classics thrown in there. :) He's talented! Love it
とてもすばらしい編曲と演奏ですね。
あなたの編曲を日本の人気youtuberが演奏してます。
それであなたのことを知りました。
To both you and ILLestDIRECTION, you two have just repaired a bit of my faith in the internet. To actually see people resolving an argument in an adult fashion is rare these days. Kudos to the both of you.
Oh, and all my love to the makers of this video too. Brilliant!
I mean this guy is talented as all hell. But labeling this video Mario medley is a little bit weird it's like 30 seconds of mario then Chopin, Liszt, and a bunch of other composers pieces.
MorioRex It is a medley (Defenition: a varied mixture) of songs.... that includes a Mario one... but yea I get what you mean
+Evan Jermyn Exactly. He plays the Mario Theme in the style of thoose pieces. At some points he drifts of into the original only to come back to the Mario Theme.
Wonderful arrangement.
One could even say he plays Variations of the Mario Theme inspired by different pieces
MorioRex yea
MorioRex well it's meant as a joke
Yeah but it's still Mario feat. Chopin, know what I'm saying? :)
This deserves more recognition because this is simply amazing. Just love it.
This music is from super Mario? Omg this is amazing. These guys at nitendo did an amazing job.
god the amount of grand pianos u have is unreal. first u have a yamaha, then a baldwin and a steinway? just promise me one thing, next time u are getting rid of yet a 4th grand piano just make sure im at the window ready to catch it.
+Alex Colderley I'll be there , so make sure you drop that steinway while you're at it 'Kay?
LA CAMPANELLA AND FANTASIE IMPROMPTU MY HEART LITERALLY STOPPED. TWO OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CLASSICAL PIECES EDGED INTO THIS MEDLEY, IT WAS BEYOND SPECTACULAR THANK YOU FOR TAKING MY BREATH AWAY
Words cannot expressive insanely creative and talent you are. Wow.
I mean seriosuly, stop at 2:50 thats insanely insane!!!
Toni Blackbird To be honest, that is ACTUALLY one of the simplest things he did in the whole thing... :o I'm way far from his level and I can do it, that's easy... but the rest, wow that's amazinnnngggg
Oh, sorry, are we talkinbg to Chopin here
Toni Blackbird Kinda guessed I'd get an answer like that, but no, I suck at piano... but this part isn't hard at all
might be, happens to me when i see people amazed by simple guitar stuff, but i dont know, the speed of his hands playing those octaves looks un human, i mean, its a realy big movement going on at a very high speed, it might be musically simple, and the fingering might be simple but its just insane to watch someone moving his hands at such speed

basically, he locks his hand in a position (an octave length) and just goes up or down on the keys, way simpler because both hands do the same, the crazy stuff he does with moving his hands separetely is more impressive!
what is the name of the song that starts at 2:35 it's bugging me and I want to hear the original.
Jesus man, DAT TECHNIQUE. Yeah, that's as moronic as a comment can get, then again that's how impressed i am. The Zelda medley brought actual tears to my eyes. Thank you.
Please. Get this guy back. He is awesome.
Simply too much talent under one roof. I must contribute my negative talent to help them turn things down to average human being.
Dude! Hands down the absolute best interpretation of Mario Bros theme, nice touch at the middle with Woldestein. Bravo sir, BRAVO!
Whew, they compressed the hell out of that piano. xP
I love how he manages to get from Mario to Chopin.
me too
I enjoyed this one more than the LoZ medley, because the flourishes he uses are put in the right areas with a proper tempo. the flourishes also fit in very well with the jazzy feeling at the begining
This mario theme is insane!!
I WANT TO BE GOOD AS THIS GUY ANDY WOAHOWOWOWOW
wow i used to watch this video as a kid and so many yrs have passed since but still amazes me
Liszt meets Mario. Awesome.
Wait, why is La Campanella in here? :D Nice job guys!
Craz Ymetal I was thinking about it before it came out
Woah...
:O
Craz Ymetal there was also chopins 64 no 2 and the fantasy impromptu and so many other pieces
I was hoping i wasnt the only one who noticed that. Great job one the piano btw.
Craz Ymetal yes definitely La Campanella
Incredible playing, timing and everything is spot on!
I wana see more of andrew!
wow this guy is amazing!!!!
Everyone is saying that this isn't really a Mario medley but you can hear notes from Mario's theme interspersed in with Chopin and Listz which brings it all together. Plus that triumphant Mario theme at the end is kind of a way of saying that Nintendo's music can hold its own with the classical greats.
This isn’t even a mario video... It was just awesome!
*plays mario medley*
... anyway, who cares about mario?
*plays Chopin*
***** IKR. Regardless, this was still a pretty good cover, but I wish that the Super Mario Bros. 2 would be thrown in. It sounds PERFECT with the piano
Ikr😂
yea added to much of that,it make the medley to much distracting from the original idea.
like mario says, Too Bad...
I KNOW I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Oh wow who knew our 17th president was such a pianist?
😂
What 17th president?
EpiCuber7 Andrew Jackson
Andrew Jackson was the 7th
Andrew Johnson is the 17th
That was incredible how he tied La Campanella to arrive back to the main Mario theme. KEEP IT UP. AS from IAA, "ART LIVES WITH YOU ALWAYS"!
Title is misleading but the song is still beautiful.
Hayden TheNayobian Not really
PLZ make a super mario medley. That would be awesome :-D
Not often you hear articulation as precise as that, well done
*subtly places pillow over lap*
This caused me to vomit rainbows. I loved the surprise Chopin and Listz
the writing up to 0:46 is SO damn good, I really wish more of this piece was like that.
I don't know if you have your own album of all these cool melodies but I would totally buy them if you recorded them on g/play
Why isnt this on spotify?!!?!?!?!?!
man....... you blew me away with your talent, awesome job!
What was Chopin's waltz in C sharp minor doing in a Mario medley?
Mesmerized watching Andy play @.@ That's........amazing.....

Min Hoseok Idiot

TheMdub27 The trailer music of the Switch Presentation 😍
TheMdub27
I think not in the near future because he already made a Zelda Piano Medley.
This topic has been over! Gee, thanks for bringing it up again and giving it life. How ironic, huh?
BROVO !!!!!
Good
Kurt: "Andy do you want to play some Mario?"
Andy: "Sure" *proceeds to play Mario on piano*
Kurt: *thinks in head, "That's not what I meant"*
Wasn't expecting that reaction, but that's ok
Beautiful playing! I also loved the Chopin and Liszt with the Mario.
Sorry, you have reached your download limit for this file Go to homepage

But what's 2:35 ?!?!?!?!?!
Please?
he made that part up himself
The fact that I saw the N64 cartridge made this nostalgic. I may be 16, but I had and N64 and was still playing it when the ps3/xbox 360 gen came out!
It's really good... But.... I prefer the original. The added flair doesn't bring anything to it. Talented guy though.
+jimmyhayers Exactly!! So many people do this and it annoys me
He must be burning off a lot of calories..
wow, at first, i was paralysed, because i thought: ' this isn't mario... cO!?' and suddenly Franz List 'La Campanella', and then i got flashed and mindblowed :D
(I know, Chopin is in this medley too, but i only his name and in my opinion, List shall not miss in this commentary)

The song at 2:19 is LA CAMPANELLA composed by Paganini
Mind is blown away. Rest of the day will be spent looking for it..
Seriously, you really have the best roommate in the entire world.
I expected Kurt to play along with Danny but I loved the ending. hahah Love your acting skills Kurt!

Solche Videos sind immer mein Ansporn. Das zeigt mir ich kann auch Klavier lernen. Ich freue mich schon auf die Zeit wenn ich es sehr gut kann.😁
Love the classical pieces in there, it really made it interesting!
BRAVO BEEEEEEEEEEE!!! ("Be" is like amplifying the emotion in bulgarian :D)
The beginning of the transition into Fantaisie Impromptu is amazing
