      I use lots of chia seeds as well. It can also be ground up using a coffee grinder (but one that is dedicated only for grinding chia/flax/nuts) otherwise you'll Never get the coffee scent & flavor out of that grinder & then EVERYTHING else will smell & taste like coffee.
      When you grind the chia, it can be used in more recipes, & being able to sneak it into foods for the whole family, & they Won't even know it!

    Everything below i actually started eating and taking for covid 3 years ago, but not only did it improve my immune system but my hair, skin & nails are more beautiful than it was in my 20’s. I thought my legs and arms would stay saggy after a massive weight loss during a bad case of covid in 2020 but my skin is tight, glowing, toned and smooth again. My mood and memory is noticeably better as well. My boyfriend said my “ Lady part” is way tighter too which I assume is the vitamins since I didn’t start doing Kegals or anything! The last time I went to the spa they All asked what do I use because I’m glowing. My friends and family also always exclaim I’m aging backwards. Now I just need to exercise one of these days! Would you please make a video on what we sould do for our entire bodies? I already exfoliate, use hyaluronic and other creams & lotions, use sunscreen, and exercise.. I know you deal mainly with our faces and our general health, but now that summer is coming, what could/should we do to make ALL od our skin look great? Is it ok to use DIY microneedling? What about Retin A or AHA's? What would you recommend for a self tanner that looks natural? Thanks!!😎💖

    My problem with collagen supplements is that I use a collagen powder in coffee(no way I'd eat that yuck in cold liquid)with 5 different types of collagen which "supposedly" is better. I can take it every day for months and see ZERO improvement in my face/hair...which are my worst issues. I have seen dermatologists claim to use it every day for a year...but their face doesn't look any fuller or different...either. I am beginning to think that the only use for collagen powder is for joint and gut health...so I will continue to take it.

    It sounds like you're doing a lot of GREAT, HEALTHY RIGHT stuff so please DON'T beat yourself up or feel any BLAME, SHAME or REGRET for the exercise. Its possible to start exercising at home with small steps. I keep a small set of weights & resistance bands next to me when I'm watching a movie or tv show & I'll lift weights, do leg lifts, do some gentle jumping jacks or use my resistance bands or rebound (jump) gently on my mini trampoline
    during the commercials or for a SET amount of time during a movie. Its CREATING STABLE
    SET TIMES or MOMENTS that
    help CREATE, BUILD & ESTABLISH REGULAR STABLE ROUTINES & HABITS. Try walking to the store instead of driving &
    carrying like weights
    a couple of bags home if you can or taking the stairs etc. EVERY MOVEMENT COUNTS. Try something that works for YOU & you might find its easier to DO it & STICK to it.

    For either glucose (sugar) or vitamin C to enter the cells, they dock onto receptors on the cell surface, which then opens a gateway, allowing them into the cell. And because sugar and vitamin C are similar in chemical structure, they use the same receptors and compete with one another, The best "NATURAL" source is Camu Camu berry, which has the highest without sugar to get the vitamin C needed. It is also better to use N-acetylcysteine and glycine to boost your own natural glutathione production for oxidative stress on all parts of the body and to slow the aging process instead of introducing antioxidants which accelerates the aging process, as the body has its own balance needed between oxidation and neutralization processes that is absolutely necessary for your cells function not by inhibiting it in excess.

      Please clarify: Are you saying we should add NAC/glycine to regular antioxidant supplements like vitamin C, OR should we avoid antioxidant supplements and only take NAC/glycine in order to boost our endogenous antioxidant system instead? ...Antioxidants accelerate the aging process??

    • @alexmenyhart9663
      @alexmenyhart9663 Год назад +1

      @house.music.therapist8152 Correct all your body needs is it own natural glutathione production, and glutathione is the best antioxidant anyway, no need to add extra antioxidants as glutathione is self regulating, extra antioxidants does accelerate the aging process. The vitamin C is absolutely essential for the human body, just not in excess, only what is needed so not to be deficient it it. I was only responding to the video about how vitamin C, it is not easily absorbed by the body because of sugar competing with the same receptors, and you won't utilize it nearly enough, so if you need vitamin C, a natural source with all other supportive nutrients in camu camu berry powder are a better solution for vitamin C absorption because it lacks the sugar content. Look up n-acetylcysteine and glycine... aka GlyNac and Taurine as well and see the clinical studies it's pretty amazing how it slows aging .

      Doc, K2 (besides helping bone) is also Extremely Important because it helps take calcium from our diet that might otherwise get stuck in our arteries & form deadly plague & clots & get it out of there & transport the calcium to the bones where we NEED it. Therefore K2 can help with heart health, potentially mitigating a stroke or heart attack.
