I love how many different editions reebok pushes out for the shoes. At least for the 11. Like these, I can see these being great for a certain niche of people . Same with the 11 grit. I do think there are people that will love this shoe, and will stick with them. They remind me of some of the asics where they seem like they made foe one group of people
Good review. I am oddly attracted to this type of adventure shoe, but the new Jurassic World X2 version w/ its dark terrain survival look. Your review was very informative, thank you. 👍
I was refreshing rebook website daily for Nano x2 adventure news. I have x2, and was worried for them since I want to use them on nearby outdoor calisthenics park, all year round. I thought that x2 adventure would be an answer to that but I'm not convinced by the colors, and stuff you said about the lacing swayed me into keeping normal x2's. Thanks for the reviews, now I'm certain I got the best shoe for me for the next few years! Pet your beautiful doggo from us, and enjoy your break!
The norm X2 should work for that context, IMO. Plus, the Adventure will be out for a while so you could always wait on them for a sale or until the X2 gives out! Thank you 🐶
Jake, can you do more weightlifting shoe reviews? Particularly on a couple budget picks, such as: Rogue Do-win’s, Nordic lifting shoes, Reebok PR lifter, and Nike savaleos. 🙏🏽 👨🏽🚒
Just found out I’m able to use a discount on these on Reebok Canada and can get them for $60 Canadian. Already had the black and gun X2, went TTS but was slightly big, so very much debating these, while is still enjoy the X2, both are a huge improvement off the X1.
Not really. Is it hindering performance? Also, do you jam your feet into the shoes or unlace them? The former can cause that neoprene-esque material to break down a bit quicker regarding its structure.
Enjoy your time up the mountains Jake! Thanks again for the awesome reviews as always. Quick question when you have a minute; which trainer to you recommend as the best all rounder for both outdoor & indoor training which involves lifting and running? Is it the Nano X1 adventure? Thanks as always brother!
Thank you! Popped in town for a coffee before our hike. Did some gnarly wheeling yesterday 😬 The X1 Adventure is solid, IMO. They’re on sale, too, which is another plus to them. X2 Adventure are okay, but I’d take the X1 over them (I brought those on my trip, lol)!
I've definitely noticed that weird foot cramping you described in my nano 12s these seem like they took them a lot more twoards out door trail use rather than working in the gym like the 11 adventures did Ill probably stick with my nano 12's and bust out the 11 adventures for hiking in the future
Bruh, this is the name Reebok came up with 😂 I called them 12s until I talked to Tal (designer) at Reebok and he said internally they say X2. I’m with you, though… 😂😂
Hey Jake thanks for another great review! In this particular all rounder style what would you prefer…the X1, X2 or the Strike Movement Vimana. Cheers Russ
That’s a tough one, I love my Vimana and X1…however, my Vimana is starting to break a bit at the toe from bombing some rockier hills, but they’ve lasted a while. Imo, if you want to save, go X1, if you want a slightly higher performing shoe and don’t mind the price, go Vimana!
Thanks for the quick reply Jake…really appreciate it, and while on vacation! I’ve watched your review on the Vimana’s a number of times and they tick all the boxes for me so decided to pull the trigger on them. I don’t do hardcore trails and the X1’s are not available in my size in Australia while the WOD life have the Vimana’s for $189 Aus=$135 US. I can’t go wrong can I😁😁 Love the channel, keep the reviews coming. Cheers Russ
Hi Jake, thank you so much for the review. I already bought one with discounted price and love it. But, I feel a bit discomfort because the TPU Clip buldging on the inside of the shoe and press my foot. Do also feel the same when using the shoe?
Hmm, I do not. I wonder if that would go away as you break them more. Might be worth working them with your hands to speed up the break in process as well!
Hi jake..love your content. Im trying to decide between Reebok x2 adventure version and nike metcon 8 amp. Would be very helpful if you could give your suggestions. Thanks again for the informative videos.
Hey Jake! This is Juan from Colombia! Wanted to congratulate on your top reviews! Nice to have some reference point for shoes prior to buy them! I got a question! I’m looking for a version of this that are the Winter version. IDK if you got the chance of testing them or X3 adventure winter version but I wanted to know if they are that warm? I live on a tropical weather but the price is definitely low to consider! Thanks again!
Hi Jake! Just wondering if these shoes are ok at keeping a bit of water out? I am a PE teacher and going out on the dewy grass in the morning makes my socks and toes wet when just wearing my Nano X2s, so just wondering if this would be slightly more water resistant? I get it won’t be waterproof but keen to see as my X2s are my favourite daily shoes! Thanks!
They should be better, imo. The upper will give you a little more reflection which is nice. You could also put a little coating on them to further keep water out, too!
They're decent. The midfoot can be a little annoying in this model so if you're not buying them for outdoor training, too, then I'd go with the normal X2 or X3!
Eh, wide relative to other training shoes but it's not going to give you barefoot width. If you're wearing Nike/Adidas currently, then these will be wider.
I tried the Nano x2, but I don't have a good fit (too big or too narrow). Do you recommend this for casual crossfit? What about casual oly weighlifting? I need to replace my nano 9 soon ;)
Hey man am a really big fan of ur work n physique but could u please make a video on budget friendly gym shoes or gym+running sometimes shoes under like
Thank you! I'm currently reviewing the Reebok Nanoflex V2 and it's surprisingly a really strong model for $90. You might be able to find some coupons to knock that price down, too. You could also look into something like the UA HOVR Rise 2/TriBase Reign 2/3 or Nike MC Trainer.
Eh, they're okay for short runs, but not the best for dedicated treadmill workouts! Nano X2 is better for a few treadmill miles here and there while Nano X2 Adv is better for outdoor work.

Agreed! The specificity is what’s great with these since they differentiate enough from the norm to make them worthwhile for particular folks.
I am planning to buy this for my gym shoes, as well as for outdoor activity.
Dope! Let me know how you end up liking them 💪
Good review. I am oddly attracted to this type of adventure shoe, but the new Jurassic World X2 version w/ its dark terrain survival look.

That is a SICK colorway.
Thank you for checking it out and sharing feedback!
these Adventure versions are so cool. Man, that’s a good looking shoes. really great review.

OMG 😳 I want the orange color one!! It looks so stylish

Now that you’ve tried the X2, size these similarly! $60 is a good deal
Did you ever experience a problem with the heel tip being very flexible?
Not really.
Is it hindering performance? Also, do you jam your feet into the shoes or unlace them? The former can cause that neoprene-esque material to break down a bit quicker regarding its structure.
Puma fuse 2.0 coming soon 😮 would be awesome if you reviewed it, I wonder if it runs as small as the original one 😃😃
Have my eye on them!

what do you mean by 11 adventures cant find them
@@roidnerd2501 Yup!
Hi! Great review. What do you think is the main reason that you prefer Naxo X2 instead of Nano X2 Adventure?
Lacing system. Nano X2 Adventure can be a little too stiff at the top of the midfoot for my needs!
Sorry if this is kinda petty but isn't the name just Nano X 2... For that X2 to be a 12 it would need to look like this = Xll 😅
Bruh, this is the name Reebok came up with 😂 I called them 12s until I talked to Tal (designer) at Reebok and he said internally they say X2.

Great review. Are these water repellant/proof/resistant?
A little resistant, but not repellent or proof!

Hey! I've tried that Nano X3 Adv (not the winter version) and they were super solid. Don't think you can go with them, tbh!
Thanks bud!

For gym its ok? Or only for training outside?
Gym it's fine.
Hey. is this a good shoe if you run on hard surfaces? even on asphalt?
Eh, they'll be a lot more dense than traditional running shoes. Look into the new Inov-8 F-Fly if you need something more hybrid!
Hello Jake, how are you, I have a question, would these shoes be used for Crossfit training, lifting, squats, rope climbs and other crossfit training?
They're decent. The midfoot can be a little annoying in this model so if you're not buying them for outdoor training, too, then I'd go with the normal X2 or X3!
Regarding the fit. Does the heel and midfoot fit wider than in the X1/X1 adventure?
About the same, the upper in this model is snugger than the X2 and most comparable to the X1’s upper!
Hi jake, you probably won’t be able to answer this but does the Nano X2 TR Adventure shoes has a wide toe box?
Eh, wide relative to other training shoes but it's not going to give you barefoot width. If you're wearing Nike/Adidas currently, then these will be wider.
I tried the Nano x2, but I don't have a good fit (too big or too narrow). Do you recommend this for casual crossfit? What about casual oly weighlifting? I need to replace my nano 9 soon ;)
Eh, it’s average for CrossFit and Oly lifting, honestly. You could find better models, IMO!

Is it good for flat feet
They can be okay. The medial midfoot can be uncomfortable in some cases, though. What do you wear now?
