hi, can you tell me part # of your heatsink, its vents kinda looks different. take out 2 mobo screws & tilt the mobo upwards, on the lower side of the vents the part # would be mentioned on a sticker
You should have added a memory stick into the empty DDR slot.

Yuo can use M.2 to SATA adapter i dont know what speed will it be. But you will get low latency from nvme and you can keep your DVD drive

In this case it can, you have to use hdd caddy you can get on ebay or amazon its cheap. Remvoe Optical drive and insert Caddy with HDD and you can get fast boot device and lot of cheap storage in one laptop
