Thnx for the vdo very helpful. 1 quick question, I have same laptop (Dell Vostro 3578 bot in 2018) 1tb hdd already there , now want to add crucial MX500 500gb nand SSD, i talked to customer care they said (i think they just read the laptop mannual) max you can add 256 gb SSD , so is there any capacity limit?? Or I can add 500gb??
Will nvme work fine in this laptop? ( I have seen that there are converters for nvme to sata). Not sure if it is okay to do in such a way!!? Any thoughts?

We recommended install the os in ssd hard disk and user as primary (get speed 10x fast )
And disk drive use on secondary for data storage purposes

sab bool dete hai bootable usb se install kar lo ,lekin bootable banaye kaise,or orginal windows hai to kaise transfer kare
Bro check on RUclips how to install windows and for original you just have to login your Microsoft account.

this is mention in manual not given for 480 GB .............. but we have 3578 model laptop and 480 GB SSD hard disk install and it's working fine whiteout any issue.

@@techbalance4611 @Tech balance Actually I tried to install ssd but I am not comfortable with 240gb SSD as mentioned in owners manual ,,,, u r saying ,,,,, that u are working with 480gb that's good I will try that and I will make it clear with dell customer service

Why you have replaced HDD with SSD? There is M.2 slot available in your system which can have max capacity of 256GB SATA SSD.
