    Mine totally blew up after only 30 days... It powered down as if there was a power failure... I checked the original power supply, it is fine.... All connections were good... It won't power up as if it blew an internal fuse... It is going back to Sweetwater, I don't trust it for gigging.... I post this so others may be informed...

    can anybody help me? My QC isn't turning on. It blinks but doesn't turn on. The day before turning it on and having this problem, I used it normally.

      Contact neural dsp support. They'll have the best information.

    Thanks for that, bro! I was playing live when I faced this issue! I thought my QC has broken.
    I tried other XLR and P10 cables - didn't work
    Reboot QC - didn't work
    Power supply I always use the original one.
    Last attempt was updating 5 minutes left for the GIG, and thank God it worked.
    If it happens again I'll perform those procedures.

    Did you have to pay for the shipping? It makes me a bit nervous to think that I would have to jump through all those hoops if there is an issue with my unit. Do you have any favorite built in amp models?

    • @Utube-g3g
      @Utube-g3g Год назад +1

      No hoops to jump through. The fact they fixed a product I bought used and we’re concerned tells me everything I needed to know about what kindve company I’m dealing with. They paid shipping both ways. Even if it’s used. Things break. They were on top of it fixed a chip sent it back. They responded asap. They’ve been great to me. I love my amps and pedals but tbh the shipping fell on a holiday and weekend and I missed it. Typically, it’s back to you very quickly. I bought a second one. I think it feels like an amp and sounds great. As a pedal addict I don’t even need them tbh for this. Only if I want. The UI is amazing. The whining re plug ins and a pc is ridiculous. It doesn’t need a pc because the UI is that great. I don’t want to be tied down to a computer. Just need a cell if you want to grab someone’s profile. The plug ins are for the babies that don’t want to pay for the quad. They want an inexpensive plug in and they want to sit in front of their computer all day. Meanwhile, the plug ins have been integrated into the quad and sound better. Cheap babies have no problems I guess because there are way bigger issues in the world. The quad is great as it is. They just go on and on complaining. What’s going to happen when they have really serious issues in their life? Kemper promised a lot of things to and took yrs to come through . Plus, it’s awful in feel and sound. It’s also $3200+ and plus tax. I don’t hear complaining there. Btw they’re beta testing the pc already which again I’ll never need or use.

    this is mind boggling. I can't believe the complacency of people just going along with all of these issues. I have a POD 2 that still works 20 years later. A kemper, albeit, a little dated that still runs flawlessly. this should be a class action suit for complete replacements across the board. there are obviously design and QA issues that are being skirted by Neural DSP.

    • @writemetalmusic

      They fixed it without charge. Not sure it's a common issue, so why replace every connector board in every unit?

      @@writemetalmusic not the only unit failing. It's an epidemic. I know a lot of people that have issues. ruclips.net/video/-wM2EWWCnDc/видео.html

    Was there a particular patch that sounded worse than others - for me the 2203 sounds particulary bad ... like there is unpleaseant distortion on the distortion, and more noticeable on single notes

    • @writemetalmusic
      @writemetalmusic  Год назад

      My issue was system wide. Didn't mate which amp, cab or effect. I don't think it was affecting the di though (can't remember), which makes sense as there should be no processing on that.
      Maybe wait and see if your problem develops and affects other patches in the future?

      Thx for replying - I'll probably contact QC support as I'm convinced its not quite right on gainy sounds @@writemetalmusic

      @@podxtv yeah that would be the safest bet. They will definitely ask for an audio example so get that ready when you can :)

      sadly NDSP support proved pointless in my case, told me to do all the things that you suggested in your helpful video (which of course I did before contacting them .. seems they don't read emails properly), and then read their page on 'noise problems' . My takeaway is - unless you have a really obvious fault then you are really on your own.

      @@podxtv, hey, which issue do you have with QC? I have a slight cracking sounds on high gain, when playing single notes. It sounds bad when listening in headphones, but not that noticeable via monitors
