I've been using the QC for a couple of months now and this video includes basic parameters that I have not seen anywhere else. Thanks for putting this together! 🤘
I have just got the Quad Cortex and tried it for the first time last night, absolutely amazing unit. I have been watching your videos for quite sometime now and finally bought one after watching these. I had a Pod Go but the QC is such a step up. Thank you for all your videos, much appreciated.
You know what would be really helpful to a lot of us, would be a video on file management. Downloading presets and impulses from the cloud, and how to manage all of that. I know that CorOS 3.0 is supposed to improve on file management, so might be a good idea to wait until that is released. I always struggle when I download stuff from the cloud to get the exact process down. I eventually figure it out, but it would be great to see it all spelled out in a nice concise way, and then a good way to organize the downloads. Just a thought...
Thanks you for the great tutorials, I learnt a lot! Is there any way when you adding a button to two amps to have it toggle between them or is the only way to create scenes for each amp and use the hybrid view?
You can do that in stomp mode, too. Turn one amp on, the other off, then sign them both to the same stomp button. Then when you hit that button it will switch between them. You can even label the button if you want on the gig view.
Hi Davlav , Thank you for all youre beautifull videos. I have a question . When i use the effect loop in my quad cortex to use with the tonex one and bypass the effectloop i still hear the tonex pedal through the chosen amp in the quad cortex. Can you help me with that please. Gr ,Harry
If you've disabled the FX Loop block there should not be any signal going to the Tonex. But if the Trails is turned on in the FX Loop you would still get any signal that the Tonex is creating into the QC.
Hi Davlav , one more question please. when my guitar is in input 1 and output 1 and 2 and everything is disabled i stil hear a clean sound trough my speakers . Hoew is thar possible?
The line level for the guitar will still flow through unless you mute it in some way. With the blocks off they are not affecting the tone but they would not stop the signal.
I don't have that issue much. The Lonestar can get that way, but I just turn the bass down. Captures can get boomy and in those instances I use a high pass filter. But each amp/capture is different so I just do that within the presets not in the global EQ.
@@samaitcheson7057 Typically I use an HSS guitar. So more single coil tones. But I don't boost the input signal at all currently. Haven't had a chance to try this tonepilot's suggestion yet.

Yes finally thank you so so much
Great tutorial - good mix of low/high level detail, was really useful. Thank you!
Just got my QC yesterday. I already saw a lot of video’s, but this is a great ‘how to get started’ overview. Thanks!
Great to hear! That's what I was shooting for. Welcome to the QC!

Hey. I have bought a quad cortex. But seriously need some very basic videos to get the most out of it. Thankyou so much. Please upload more of these
I will be. Part 2 will be soon.
That it great! Thanks! Looking forward to see more.

Thx got your efforts!
Fucking Awesome! Fast Simple Effective! I am seasoned but new to QC.

i appreciate all of youre effort.

Try upping your In 1 LEVEL (in global) to say +6. I find the amps sound more like tube amps that way.
I'll give it a shot
I boost my input levels between +2 and +3 depending on the guitar I'm using. How you do you stop amp models being too boomy? Global EQ?

Had it a while but don’t have or use a computer , help
If you check out some of my older videos linked in the description, I just use the device screen. The app and the device interfaces are very similar.
