Leica 90mm F2.0

In this video we are going to take a look at the Leica 90mm f2.0. This telephoto lens is one of my absolute favourite lenses for street photography! Some of the greatest street photographers like Saul Leiter & Ernst Haas used these lenses on the streets.

The Summarit 90/2.5 and 2.4 are out of production now, but my 90/2.5 performs very well. It's lightweight and has a filter thread of 46 mm, same as the Elmar-M 24/3.8 and the Summilux 50/1.4. Guess what: I've them all in my daily bag. 90 is a very practical focal length. Keep on rolling!

I was actually looking for the 2.4/2.5 because of the compact size but got a can't say no deal on the 2.0 and got it! Haha everyone should have 90 in the bag :) And thanks!

Alas, I am getting too old to reliably focus long lenses on the M10 with the rangefinder - I have to use the Visoflex on the M10 with 90mm and 135mm. Nice video!

Very nice, I’ve seen these in the past but never grabbed one, when I finally picked up the 90mm I went with the Elmar C f4 and couldn’t be happier. Insane value for money and is the lightest version sub $300 usd I can’t complain. Enjoy what you have.

I use my 90mm f/2 Leitz lens primarily for photojournalism, documentary, street, and portrait. I normally pair it with a 35mm f/1.4
