I've three Leica M lenses: the Summilux 50, the Summarit 90/2.5 and the Elmar-M 24/3.8. All together, a perfect combo for an old press photographer. Next to the LUX, the 90 mm is my most used lens. For concerts, portraits and landscape simply a must-have. Keep on rolling!
I used to have a 90 Summicron on my M6, decades ago, and it's the lens who gave me the best results I ever had for portraits. I bought it again when I bought a M240; but I sold it because I used it only once a year. Currently I have a M262 and just bought a M10 monochrome. This time I bought a Summarit 90 f/2.4 (in addition to my Elmarit 28 and Summilux 50) due to its ratio size/weight/quality/price. Nearly the size of a Summilux 50, so perfect to shoot discreetly.
Just bought this lens a few days ago! Not a popular lens or focal length with the M system. Picked this over a used 90 APO for reasons of size, weight and price!
How are you finding this lens? I am about to buy one for my 90mm solution, almost always for landscape photography, is it sharp enough across the Frame do you think?

Oh that is wonderful to hear! That just goes to show the timelessness of good glass
Thanks for including so many different images to view throughout your commentary!

It is very compact for a 90mm lens. Great video!
Thank you Shane!
Looks a lovely lens but i also like your editing. The underexposed look. Do you have preset as a guide?
It's beautiful!
Great video.

Thank you! Just bought an M11, gulp, and a 50 apo, gulp. So need to save money elsewhere, and I think that starts here with this lens.
I totally know what you mean haha, you'll have a wonderful time with this lens :)

Yes I think it’s an underrated lens! Especially for the reasons you mention

Show me the lens more and less your work...
