Aang not being a perfect father is fine. Even being a BAD father is fine. It's okay for him to have failings, but his failings probably should have matched what we know about him as a character. And I don't think the writers put very much thought into that.
There's also the fact that he not only was the Avatar, but he was also the *last* airbender who has to keep his dying culture alive. Naturally, it makes sense for him to focus all his attention on Tenzin and this would consequently result in him not paying as much attention with his other children (like not on the same level as he would with Tenzin). I don't think this means he loves Kya and Bumi any less though.
I know some people didn’t like the fact that the show portrayed Aang wasn’t the perfect Dad that everyone thought because of his ATLA character, but I think it makes him realistic. To discover that there’s another air bender in the world aside from him to past his legacy will place a lot of priority. At the same time, I don’t think he was fully neglectful with Bumi and Kya considering the insight we had in the Korra: Turf Wars. I like that Aang can be flawed like anybody else.
Timo Nah thanks for checking! It was a nice comic that kicks off after the Finale and it was a nice lore for the whole series about LGBTQ+ in the Avatar universe.
I love that Unalaq was just fucking sitting in a dark-ass room with no lights and no other people, doing NOTHING. Just staring into the darkness until Korra came in.
Not only did Aang have to pass down all the knowledge and culture of the Air Nomads to Tenzin but he also had to prepare him to train his next incarnation since Tenzin would have been the only Master Airbender after Aang passed away. While he got a lot of attention from his Dad he had more stress and a lot more pressure than his siblings who were free to do whatever they want in the world growing up while him being the Youngest sibling pretty much had plans made for him probably by the time he was 7 really
There is no such thing as non-benders. He isn't just interested in bending, thats all. Bumi has blood of avatar aang and katara( two benders ) so how is it possible for him to he a non-bender?
Frozen Viking The majority of people in Avatar's world are non-benders. Korra is daughter of a bender and a non-bender, Katara and Sokka are children of two non-benders, and just one became a bender. Doesn't exist a pattern.
Who?, most bending is genetic Air and Fire are single or double capital Aa Aw Ae Af AA, Ff Fw Fa Fe FF Earth and water can only be single capital Ww We Wf Wa, Ee Ew Ef Ea with lavabenders being Ef. Mako and Bolin have the genes Fe and Ef.
I once read a very interesting “theory” concerning Aang’s parenting : I’m 100% sure he loved all of his children equally and unconditionally, but was eventually driven to give Tenzin more attention because of his duties as an air bender. Putting his older children aside was hard enough, but I’m sure Bumi and Kya’s childhood were worsened by everybody else’s expectations and pressure ? To constantly hear about your parents’s deeds and amazingness and expecting them to live up to this ?! Especially for Bumi as a non bender... Aang played a part in Bumi and Kya’s complicated childhood, but he’s not the only one to blame. He did his part as a father, but his Avatar duties stopped him from doing it better, or well enough for Bumi and Kya
I loved this episode because of the Tenzin, Bumi and Kaya storyline. I think the creators wrote it on both a narrative level and a meta level to say hey, we get it. The Last Airbender was amazing and we (fans) hail it as this flawless masterpiece from start to finish when it really isn't. It had its flaws, and it's okay to say that. It's also okay to enjoy this new series and not look at it solely through the lens of ATLAB. Aang wasn't a perfect Avatar and neither is Korra nor should they be. They are both they're own characters. They are allowed to stand independent of each other and above all else they are human, so they'll make mistakes and that's okay.
Lol. No. There was no "hidden message". You fangirls always try and claim that. Let's get something straight. It's okay to think Korra is great. It's okay to think Korra sucks. And of story. The creators weren't giving some meta reference.
Rick Jones lol I'm going to assume you are either very young, & therefore have no idea what you're talking about or you must know literally nothing about literary analysis and film criticism. THIS IS LITERALLY WHAT'S IT ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT. Meta narrative is, always has been and always will be the crux of storytelling. Brian and Mike knew all too well coming into The Legend of Korra book 1 that they had struck lightning with the Legend of Aang and because it was such a phenomenon, fans wouldn't take to a new avatar so easily and as such Korra would be judged much more harshly than Aang ever was. Especially her being a female in a predominantly male Fandom had the potential to be contentious. This is made especially true because of the fact that they were coming off of that shit show that was the Last Airbender movie so fans were EVEN MORE defensive about their love for this world. It's part of why 90% of Korra reactions on RUclips start with a "so I never thought I'd be doing this since I loved the original, but I'm watching Korra now.". I mean for crying out loud, go back and watch the first 6 reactions that the normies did to book 1 of Korra. Every other commentary was "but Aang never did it that" or "Aang would have done it this way" and I wanted to scream into my laptop "KORRA IS NOT Aang". They kept watching it through the lens of ATLAB and the whole time all I could think was, guys Aang is not the only avatar in history. Korra is not Aang, the same way Aang was not Roku, the same way Roku was not Kyoshi, the same way Kyoshi was not the Avatar before her so let Korra be Korra and criticise her for the mistakes she makes, not for the mistakes she made in leu of what Aang would have done. It's the one part of the Avatar Fandom I can't stand. Yes we all love Aang and he was great and all but like Kaya and Bumi said, he was not perfect. On a meta narrative the show wasn't either. And that's okay because nothing is. You'd be a fool to believe other wise, but if that's what you need to do then baby do it till the cows come home.
Rick Jones I mean did you see Raina's reaction to this episode when Kaya and Bumi were pointing out how flawed a father Aang was??? She visibly looked uncomfortable hearing all that. It's like the idea of Aang not being the perfect god we all hail him as was too much to handle and I'M SO GLAD MIKE AND BRIAN WROTE THIS STORYLINE INTO THE SHOW. It's really good writing and indicative of the creators knowing their property and their audience.
It wasn't that, for the first half of season 2 a different animation studio took over. After beginnings part 1 and 2 the old studio started doing the animation again and it goes back to how season 1 looks for the rest of the series.
This is a common misconception. According to Mir's studio head, Jae-Myung Yoo, Korra S1 left them too exhausted to keep doing it, so they switched to animating Boondocks S4 because it was an easier production. To replace them, Nickelodeon hired a bigger studio from Japan (Studio Pierrot) with a pedigree in anime to try to upgrade over Studio Mir, who at the time was a start up whose first ever job was Korra S1. But the work Pierrot turned in was subpar and Nickelodeon asked Mir to come back and take over halfway through production.
I really loved that ending with Korra reconciling with her mom and dad. It was a really heartwarming thing to see that despite their differences and issues at the moment, they'll always put family first. The family moments in Avatar are always spot-on! Aang not being a perfect dad makes sense to me given all the burdens of being the Avatar and the last airbender weighing on him. I don't believe that he loved Kya and Bumi any less though, but he definitely could've included them more or taught them the culture of his people alongside Tenzin. I suppose not everyone can be a great parent despite being a good person.
Lalisa T On top of that, as Aang got older in the comics, they showed his traditionalist and conservative views on some things. The fact that he wanted fire nation people to leave the earth kingdom colonies even though generations of people were born there during the 100 year war. In the show, he was so against refugees living in an air nation temple. The kind of dad he was isn't surprising.
Yeah but why would Katara tolerated this she isn't the type who picks favorites among her friends and family, she would've at least had a serious discussion with Aang.
This is one of the best episodes, because seeing the relationship dynamic with Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi was incredible. Learning that Aang wasn't the best dad also gives them so much depth, even though some of the haters claim that it destroys Aang's legacy (it doesn't). Still, it makes sense that he wouldn't be a great father, considering only one of his children was an airbender and he was most likely desperate to keep the legacy of his people alive. Korra's now getting into the thick of a brewing civil war, and she's really not sure of how to handle things. And that scene where she made up with her parents, it's one of my all-time favorite moments in the entire series. First, she's relieved that her father isn't part of the rebels, then she's hit with the realization that she was being really shitty towards him. The thing that really gets me is when Korra's mother says that when they found out that she's the Avatar, they knew the day would come when she wouldn't need them anymore, followed by Korra saying that she would ALWAYS need them because they're her parents. Also, Unalaq is getting more and more shady. Hell, he's so shady that he's literally sitting in the shade in this episode!
And he would be even more desperate after his first two kids not turning out to be airbenders. If Tenzin hadn't been an airbender, there would probably be a fourth sibling let's be real. Aang would've wanted to try until there was at least one, since he had to bring them back, and Katara would've likely understood that and would've wanted the same thing.
I would just like to take this moment to say Rana's whole reaction to getting interrupted near the end of the episode was glorious LOL XD But on a serious note... No, Aang was not a perfect father, which kind of makes sense... He didn't really grow up with a normal family or a normal childhood.. He learned he was the Avatar at age 12 and had what was left of his childhood uprooted and then he was separated from the only father figure he'd ever really known, and he always struggled to put his duties ahead of his personal attachments (as the Guru explained to him). And his entire nation was wiped out, from his POV, in a matter of seconds. So it makes sense that he would carry that with him into adulthood. And unfortunately, some habits are hard to break. So yeah, *not* saying that neglecting Bumi and Kya in favor Tenzin was a cool thing to do, because it's not, but I can understand how the family got to this point and how Bumi and Kya feel less important and how Tenzin sees himself as WAY too important. It's crappy deal all the way around for everyone. As for Korra's storyline, she has to battle with personal feelings and duty here as well, dealing with her father and not letting that affect her role as the Avatar and vice-versa. Glad they made up (: Still loving Varrick, though! XD
I don't think "neglect" is the right word, there's no proof he ignored them, just that when he went on missions and stuff he always took Tenzin, not them. So yeah they may feel less important, but I don't see it as neglect, especially since Katara seems like a great mother.
Yeah, neglect is a strong word, but I couldn't find another word that really fit. I didn't mean to imply that he didn't care for Kya or Bumi at all, because I'm sure he did. He just had his focus a little mixed up. Maybe the words are "poorly prioritized"?
I think that the reason I enjoy watching this so much is because it takes me back to when Korra actually came out weekly and now I can feel these emotions again with you guys! I know your gonna enjoy the next few episode!
Ben Wenger He definitely had a character arc....Remember how he end up being compared to now!!! One of my fav characters for sure....along with Zuli... 😃
Haha, I love how adamant they are that Unalaq is a good guy. Nahid is standing firm that there's something shady going on. I love that Rana loves Varick. He's hilarious.
An awesome reaction to an awesome episode. I really feel for Korra here, she's trying everything under the sun to keep these tribes from attacking each other, but nothing works. Unwinnable situations are a real headache.
Also about the grandkids, Jinora is the oldest, she's the one who saw the statue. Ikki (pronounced E-key) is the middle one, missing for this episode. Meelo is the fartbender.
Great reactions guys! I said it once before and I'll say it again, with all the hate for the show, especially season 2, its awesome seeing yall enjoy the season and the series so much! Keep up the great reactions!
James Wise Magic There isn't "hate" for the show. Jesus Christ. Most people enjoy it but think it has faults. Which is does. Stop acting like people just hate it for no reason. Also, are you saying their reaction wouldn't be great if they didn't like the season?
Ashley Schnee You're exaggerating so much you're basically lying. There's very few people who just say, "It sucks!!!!" and nothing else. Most people who criticize it give reasons. There are tons of people who praise it without defending it, make up reasons to defend it, attack anyone who is negative about it. On blind wave, if they don't seem that interested in an episode, they're slammed for it. The fangirls require the reactors to love it, they aren't allowed to have any other opinion on it.
Ashley Schnee I never said there were no hateful comments, so more lies from you sweetie. I said you're exaggerating how many there are. You're acting like most people who criticize the show offer no reason and just hate it. That's idiotic and a lie. Lots of people give reasons for why they don't like the show. Again, you clearly don't give a shit that many more people attack anyone who doesn't praise the show. The normies are a perfect example. For the first few episodes of season 1 they got slammed because they weren't into it yet. On blind wave when they've been critical of season 4 they've gotten slammed. But that's okay with you.
Ashley Schnee You're doing the exact same thing sweetie pie. I said, "Most people don't hate the show for no reason". MOST. Not all. Not everyone. Understand honey? I hope so.
@@rickj5180 Ive spent a shit load of time in the comments and a loy of people seem to not understand things so they end up hating it. This show definitely isnt without its flaws but overall its an amazing show that definitely gets a bad reputation that is unjust.
Bumi: It was a "Jump to Conclusions" mat. You see, it would be this mat that you would put on the floor... and would have different CONCLUSIONS written on it that you could JUMP TO.
I personally don’t think that an air nomad (particularly of the old days like Aang) would be a hands on nurturing parent. They’re nomadic and independent. I don’t think Aang purposefully didn’t pay attention to his other kids, he probably figured they’d just find their own path. As far as Aang using Katara to carry on the airbending legacy I think that it was more of him being happy about having children but deep down hoping that they’d have an air bender one day. I think Aang was so overcome with happiness that he had an airbender that he wanted to teach Tenzin every single thing he knew about being an airbender. It’s a shitty method though. I am also confused about where Katara was with all of this. It just doesn't make sense to me why Katara would allow that to happen. Like I understand Aang's shortcomings but I would have liked to know Katara's side of the story. I do think that the treatment was somewhere towards the middle though realistically because it's believable (for me) that Aang wasn't very hands on but I don't believe that Katara wasn't 100% hands on.
3:52 Sokka's watchtower! ''I love this guy.'' Of course! He's Varrick. I can't wait for 2 specific scenes in the next episode, I think all fans know which ones I mean ;-)
Octopus+Bear= Octobear, an animal with 8 limbs and webbed feet that can swim very well and has a a fleshy, bulbous, octopus-like head, with the fur of a bear
The *PandOwl* For your mascot you want something cozy & observant. First two animals that came to mind are a Panda and an Owl... I'd imagine it looks like a larger version of Fenghuang from Kung Fu Panda.
Don't forget, Tenzin's the baby of family behind eldest Bumi and middle child Kya. Of course the older kids are going to think the baby is getting more attention.
It makes sense that Aang wouldn't be a perfect father, but something about him taking one child on vacations and leaving the rest doesn't make much sense to me knowing how he felt about Azula and Zuko's relationship with their father, and seeing how favoritism made them into what they were
I'm glad you guys are warming up to the show. Finally caught up to where you guys are after finding out about you about a week ago. Also glad you guys like Bolin so much, he has some awesome moments throughout the series and one of my favorite moments in either series this season.
22:30 Tenzin said that they made sand castles, rode giant koi fish. Aang could have taken boomi and Kaia on those trips and when tenzin needed to learn he could of had katara or someone else (like nanny or babysitter) look after them. And then when his training was done for the day they could have all done stuff together. It really isn't that hard to be a better father than Aang was
Maybe Unalaq has someone in his inner circle who wants war. After all, Unalaq was unconscious during the kidnapping attempt, so he would only be able to go on what he was TOLD happened.
Something that I almost never see when people discuss Aang's parenting is the age difference between the three kids. It doesn't look like it at first glance, but Bumi is around 10 years older than Tenzin, and Kya is about 5 years older. This means that by the time Tenzin was old enough to go on any of these field trips, lets say about 12 Aang's age in the original show, Bumi was likely already enlisted in the United Forces, and Kya was finishing her formal schooling. And when you look at the timeline of events even farther, the building of Republic City was probably going up on through to the middle of Kya's childhood, so, even though it sucks for Bumi and Kya, it makes sense that Aang had more time to do field trips with his kids afterwards.
It made sense why Aang did what he did. He was pretty much the last one of his kind and one of his worse moments and biggest fears was that his culture would die out. So after getting a non bender and a water bender he was thrilled to have an air bender in his family again. But Aang knew one day he would die and Tenzin would be the the same as he, the only air bender left. So he taught his son everything he could. Aang died before Tenzin became a father so Tenzin as well had a lot of pressure of keeping the culture alive. That is one of the reasons why Tenzin is so strict and stubborn.
Very minor detail I just noticed...I was just thinking how water benders deal only with ice and water...not steam very often. But when Korra caught the snowball she sublimates it. She doesn't melt it, she turns it to steam. Way cool.
The mention of chimera has me tempted to say "dog-little girl", but let's go with kittyfly--a cute cat with colorful butterfly wings and little antennae.
Korra after FMA, Cap and Iron Man are making an appearance :P I did wonder about the shirts Is that true? I know there are some who genetically can’t sweat *Hostile Takeover The Water Tribes are under one government, so it’s not like Unalaq is expanding his reach, he’s sending Northern Troops into his territory. Korra is 18, I think she should be past the ‘Teenager’ phase Basically yes, it is like a fast travel. It still hurts a little that Aang’s kids felt distant to their dad, that’s a lingering issue with sequel series Starting? Hey Mako, why don’t you tell Bolin to tell Eska ‘I want you to know how much I care about you’ that’s your clear break up line after all... Lads it’s the poles just chill! Sound familiar Korra? Taking sides? Wasn’t it clear that Kya was a Waterbender? Thought the Katara-like apparel would be the main clue. Only Episode 5 of Super was nasty, the rest was okay but nothing like Tournament of Power SURPRISE! Not Papa Tonraq Pssst, Finding Herself included discovering her own sexuality The moment Korra reconciles with her parents Unalaq goes and arrests them, typical Remember, Korra said that the meeting took place in their house Tonraq and Unalaq Aang dealt with politics, in show and comics. Remember when he was imprisoned in Chin Village? The Great Divide? All of Ba Sing Se? Master Pakku’s sexism in the North and Yue’s arranged Marriage? Eska is the girl, and is indeed Aubrey Plaza Ikki (ee-key) is the middle child - all are Airbenders, but Jinora saw the statue. Hahahahaha, Book One still stomps on Book Two Tournament of Power made up for DBS, where good animation, plot and music all delivered in an arc You want a Chimera animal? Hmmm, you’d want a cute one, oooh! A Fennec Peafox! Mainly Fennec Fox but the ears puff out like a peafowl tail
did u guys know that the revolutionary war was started by a snowball? this was deff a reference! a child threw a snowball at a soldier and the soldier shot at the kid. bystanders got mad that he shot back and a fight started!
Aang never had proper parents of his own, right? In that case it's not all that surprising that he wasn't a perfect father
How has that not ever crossed my mind!
Aang not being a perfect father is fine. Even being a BAD father is fine. It's okay for him to have failings, but his failings probably should have matched what we know about him as a character. And I don't think the writers put very much thought into that.
Ben Wenger people change after like 20 or 30 years. Look at Luke.
There's also the fact that he not only was the Avatar, but he was also the *last* airbender who has to keep his dying culture alive. Aang didn’t change unrealistically, like Luke.

"Korra: Rift"?
Timo My bad, my dude, Korra: Turf Wars! Confused it with ATLA: The Rift comics!
Ah ok, that's what I thought.
Timo Nah thanks for checking! It was a nice comic that kicks off after the Finale and it was a nice lore for the whole series about LGBTQ+ in the Avatar universe.
@Marco Estebar I agree, but please edit your comment and delete the last part ("about ... in the Avtar universe"). Big spoiler.
I love that Unalaq was just fucking sitting in a dark-ass room with no lights and no other people, doing NOTHING. Just staring into the darkness until Korra came in.
Revelry in the dark....
He was definitely asleep pretending he wasint Korra woke him up lol
I do that sometimes
The first half of the season was animated by a different studio the picture quality will go back to normal by episode 7
I'd hardly call episodes 7 and 8 normal
Mavoc Not normal, awesome
Jinora was the one who saw the statue glow

Jayden Harrold this is the most unintelligible comment I’ve ever read

Taken even further with "I AM TENZIN, I AM TENZIN!!" :3
The less refined animation is due to budget cuts. Viacom/NIckelodeon did the Legend of Korra dirty.
Griff And if you look closely you often see the characters stand completely still like they're paralyzed when they're talking.
I thought the budget cuts didn't start until season 3?
It wasn't that, for the first half of season 2 a different animation studio took over. After beginnings part 1 and 2 the old studio started doing the animation again and it goes back to how season 1 looks for the rest of the series.
Mike Harrison Was the other studio bad at their job or what then? Surely they had a lower budget because the animation looks worse

Anita Norris Yeah, this wasn't surprising for me as well.
Yeah but why would Katara tolerated this she isn't the type who picks favorites among her friends and family, she would've at least had a serious discussion with Aang.
Brandon Lyon How do we know that didn't happen though? At this point, we really don't know the whole story.
Aang would've wanted to try until there was at least one, since he had to bring them back, and Katara would've likely understood that and would've wanted the same thing.
i think your a little confused, it was jinora the one that had a conection with the statue not ikki
" The Normies this is not a kids show " i need to buy that shirt :))
Kim Hanna Yes! I love the giveaway idea, but I really want them to sell it, too! I would buy 2 or 3.
You'll notice since Book 1 Korra's main element has shifted from fire to air
She also uses water more than ever
Damn i just noriced
@@moneylover318 Because she’s in an snowy area not a city
@@dragonflarefrog1424 i mean also in republic city and in the eastern air temple
I think that the reason I enjoy watching this so much is because it takes me back to when Korra actually came out weekly and now I can feel these emotions again with you guys! I know your gonna enjoy the next few episode!
I love varrick's capitalist mindset (and how it plays on succeeding eps). I enjoy his character arc
He has a character arc? =P
He certainly is the best character -- and he has the best story... but I wouldn't say he has an arc.
Ben Wenger He definitely had a character arc....Remember how he end up being compared to now!!! One of my fav characters for sure....along with Zuli... 😃
Do the thing!!!!!
Honestly he's in my top 5. He's like less heroic Tony Stark.
Did someone say Do the thing?!
Meelo is the fartbender.
despite their rockiness in the beginning of s2, korra and her dad become one kick ass duo.
I Feel Nahid is the only one getting this show
Darryl Jack how??
LeCorey Tarpley it seems like he gets the characters
Nahid gets the characters, Rana gets the plot, and Micky and Suraj get the connections to ATLA.
I love that Rana loves the Eska x Bolin dynamic. I enjoyed them and along with Varrick they were nice bits of humour sprinkled into that.
Korra's parents: *want to live peacefully*
Aang after died: "Boom! You're looking for this?"
Bumi: It was a "Jump to Conclusions" mat. You see, it would be this mat that you would put on the floor... and would have different CONCLUSIONS written on it that you could JUMP TO.
One of the twins is Aubrey Plaza, the characters personality makes sense now.
Ikki is the one missing. Jinora is the one who saw the statue glow.
For Episode 7 and 8 you have to release them and watch them in one go
Darryl Jack They will look at their schedule
Its their policy to release 1 episode per week.
Frozen Viking i know but 7 and 8 are special
Darryl Jack They doing 2 for beginnings
10:47, was that a callback to Azula's "here we go" in the Beach Episode before Ty Lee's "performance?" :)
Ikki isn't the spiritual one that saw that, it was Jinora, the oldest.
3:52 Sokka's watchtower!
''I love this guy.''
Of course! He's Varrick.
I can't wait for 2 specific scenes in the next episode, I think all fans know which ones I mean ;-)
also all of your theories about different characters intent in this episode is a great lead up into watching part 2 you guys get ready
TWO VIDEOS FOR WEEK PLEASE
Jacob George uhhhh no.
Liz Lovato They doing 2 for beginnings
I don't want two videos a week. It stinks to only have one episode a week, but because of that we get a year of Korra, instead of only 6 months.
that is true
they make my Wednesday less Stressful
Nahid is woke AF about unalok :D
Octopus+Bear= Octobear, an animal with 8 limbs and webbed feet that can swim very well and has a a fleshy, bulbous, octopus-like head, with the fur of a bear
Also, Jinora is the one who saw the statue. Not Ikki lmao.
omg Rana :(
I'm an only child too. The struggle is real.
Looks like Korra’s getting Unalaqed up into a civil war
Jay_501st I thought that all of them got Varricked into it, but hey, they might have been Zhu Li'd as well for all I know

For your mascot you want something cozy & observant. First two animals that came to mind are a Panda and an Owl...
I'd imagine it looks like a larger version of Fenghuang from Kung Fu Panda.
rana at 15:40 lmfao she went crazy lol
Of course it's Chris....
What happened I don’t get it?
Hahahaha when your homie knocked then used their key that shit killed me hahahha
I'm so happy they're enjoying it so far.
Don't forget, Tenzin's the baby of family behind eldest Bumi and middle child Kya. Of course the older kids are going to think the baby is getting more attention.
I love that Varrick is played by the "Live in the Moment" teacher from Community. He plays it so well >.
you should make another shirts that just says i think i think i think i think all over it
The best thing that suits them is a Koala-Panda!
I absolutely loved seeing how it's the relationship between Aang's and Katar'as kids sooo much.
It sounds so fucking real
Haha
A giant Fire Elk: a giant elk that breathes fire and has long red fur.
It makes sense that Aang wouldn't be a perfect father, but something about him taking one child on vacations and leaving the rest doesn't make much sense to me knowing how he felt about Azula and Zuko's relationship with their father, and seeing how favoritism made them into what they were
please tell me where to watch these stuf for free
@@cherrypieherrera4932 soap2day
it looks like Bumi got the short end of the stick because he's a non bender.
Why else would he act that crazy?
I'm glad you guys are warming up to the show. Finally caught up to where you guys are after finding out about you about a week ago. Also glad you guys like Bolin so much, he has some awesome moments throughout the series and one of my favorite moments in either series this season.
I luv the sibling complex in the episode 👌👌👌👌
I could've sworn Rana and Suraj were siblings *shrugs*
the statue glowed for jinorathe oldest of tenzin's kids not iki
Yeah, Jinora's her name.
Them: “I don’t think he’s bad”
Me: “UNAVAATU FFS”
Nah, Nahid is calling Unalaq out on his bullshit XD
He is right in his head. Explains every villain in Korra.
Everything's not that black and white. Look at the whole picture from their standpoint.
this is my favorite season of Korra by a mile!!! Great reaction guys! I look forward to your reaction as much as the episodes themselves!
Babar The Elephant ew
Babar The Elephant this season is honestly skipable
Babar The Elephant only2 good episodes and I can't wait for avatar wan
Nothing To Spiffy not really cause of episode 7 and 8
Darryl Jack I agree
22:30 Tenzin said that they made sand castles, rode giant koi fish. Aang could have taken boomi and Kaia on those trips and when tenzin needed to learn he could of had katara or someone else (like nanny or babysitter) look after them. And then when his training was done for the day they could have all done stuff together. It really isn't that hard to be a better father than Aang was
10:49 - is Suraj referencing Azula in The Beach ? lol
11:34 "So cool, so cool" 😂😂😂
lmao the door ringing XD
A Bonobosloth, its a social animal that just likes hanging out someplace comfy.
Maybe Unalaq has someone in his inner circle who wants war. After all, Unalaq was unconscious during the kidnapping attempt, so he would only be able to go on what he was TOLD happened.
Where did they get those custom Pop figurines?!
Its amazing how they are loving season 2!!
Jinora is one who had the moments with the statues, not Ikki.
That is one of the reasons why Tenzin is so strict and stubborn.
for your animal mascot how about a koala Sloth so that way it'll be super sleepy and super slow.
Wow i can imagine the slowness and cuteness combined
Does the colour also represents the element?
Orange: air (although it's supposedly yellow)
Green: Earth
Blue: Water
Red: Fire
Very minor detail I just noticed...I was just thinking how water benders deal only with ice and water...not steam very often. But when Korra caught the snowball she sublimates it. She doesn't melt it, she turns it to steam. Way cool.
we are so far away from it, but i really want them to see the last episode of season 3. you know, the Jinora = Aang scene
Can’t wait for the next few episodes! I am dying to see your reactions!
The mention of chimera has me tempted to say "dog-little girl", but let's go with kittyfly--a cute cat with colorful butterfly wings and little antennae.
Plot twist, Bumi was talking about the Mountain of the Two lovers and the SECRET TUNNELLL SECRET TUNNELLLLL SECRET SECRET SECRET TUNNELLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

The Water Tribes are under one government, so it’s not like Unalaq is expanding his reach, he’s sending Northern Troops into his territory.
Korra is 18, I think she should be past the ‘Teenager’ phase
Basically yes, it is like a fast travel.
It still hurts a little that Aang’s kids felt distant to their dad, that’s a lingering issue with sequel series

Hey Mako, why don’t you tell Bolin to tell Eska ‘I want you to know how much I care about you’ that’s your clear break up line after all...

Sound familiar Korra? Taking sides?
Wasn’t it clear that Kya was a Waterbender? Thought the Katara-like apparel would be the main clue.

The moment Korra reconciles with her parents Unalaq goes and arrests them, typical

Aang dealt with politics, in show and comics. Remember when he was imprisoned in Chin Village? The Great Divide? All of Ba Sing Se? Master Pakku’s sexism in the North and Yue’s arranged Marriage?
Eska is the girl, and is indeed Aubrey Plaza
Ikki (ee-key) is the middle child - all are Airbenders, but Jinora saw the statue.
Hahahahaha, Book One still stomps on Book Two
Tournament of Power made up for DBS, where good animation, plot and music all delivered in an arc
You want a Chimera animal? Hmmm, you’d want a cute one, oooh! A Fennec Peafox! Mainly Fennec Fox but the ears puff out like a peafowl tail
Due to budget constraints they had to switch animation studios, but don’t worry they switch back latter in the season!
