- In this video we show our personal highlights of the Cape Peninsula incl. the Cape of Good Hope and the area around Cape Town in South Africa.
For us, the highlights include the Cape with the Cape of Good Hope itself and the peninsula with its numerous beaches. Another great experience is the hike to Lions Head with a view of Table Mountain. The best place to get a feeling of the beach life in South Africa is at the town of Muizenberg Beach with its colourful houses.
And last but not least our favorite view of Cape Town and Table Mountain is the one from Blouberg Strand.

Beautiful place, ocean scenery, amazing time lapses, and I loved seeing the ostrich and penguin.
Glad you enjoyed it. And yes - there is a plenty of wildlife in that region too. Of course not the usual game you find in the eastern part of South Africa but still amazing. :-)

I was there 2009
Great - our first visit was in 2006. but more or less the place looked the same in 2021. ;-)
I have a few questions. 1) was parking free? 2) can I pay for the tram 🚊 at location instead of online?
sure - 1) yes parking was included in the entrance fee. and 2) i guess so - we didn't use the tram, it looked closed at our visit (we were earliest in the morning)
