We bought our beautiful home from this gorgeous Lady. We are now living in Paradise🎉 one of our great decisions in the last 38 years of married life! After looking at 15 different houses Zulika showed us the show stopper! Wow! Thank you again. This is the place for us❤😅
Last time was there in 1986 . There was nothing there except the old hotel . I had a lekker time and took the hotel lagabaan towels with the name on it .😂😂 i miss the 80s . All of the cape is overpriced these days .
Its really quite a personal thing. It depends on your lifestyle, standards of Living, where you want to stay in Langebaan, school going children or not…. etc
@@realestateagentinlangebaan it would help to lay out the cost of living in terms of Rent/ purchasing a home, cost of education, cost of vehicles per month, maintenance of your home, water, electricity etc, maid, gardener, security company, medical aid, dstv, internet, monthly grocery cost, insurance, levys etc. it would be interesting to see what it really costs to live in the cape or anywhere in south africa and what you need to earn after tax to be able to live. of someone can compile that , it would really help. thanks in advance
@@joesoap1765suggest you do your own research. Rule of thumb, less than R100k per month you'll be living in a minute townhouse, with single or no garage.
As a seasoned tourism influencer and site agent: that coffee isn't affordable. In September 2024, we still get coffee at as little as ten Rand - R10 - per cup in the heart ❤️ of Cape Town. Also, overnight accommodation prices in rural destinations are simply too high. Some very nice accommodation in Sea Point, Cape Town come in at R700 per room per night, typically for two guests, in very nice holiday homes.
Just don’t buy on the Golf Estate. Total dictatorship. Further Langebaan is awesome but the “Weskus mense” not so much. You will be labelled “inkommer”. Further be careful who you do business with here. Esepcially building. Schools full of serious clicks.
Northwest of Cape Town I was treated as an inkommer by inkommers; my ancestors were the first to settle there as free burghers; there's even a railway station named after them. Rural people should really be done with this inkommer BS.

Make sure you have a job, or good income before you move here. Not alot available.

@@EllaSegrysunfortunately impossible to cover everything in one video. Come and take a look for yourself. I’ll give you a personal tour 😊
Zulika it really is costly ie unaffordable living there. Pls recommend a government retirement village. Does it exist in langebaan?
Hi Sheri I have emailed you
No. Government retirement homes do not exist.
Hi would appreciate an answer to that question please.

Where the hell is langebaan?
It is on the Cape west coast. About 130km outside of Cape Town
You're better off not knowing. Hint - not that close to hell.
what do you need to earn in order to live well in langebaan?

I wish we could find R10 coffee, but the minimum here for a good, ‘craft-style’ roaster coffee is R30-R35

It happens yes, although very few people who live here were born here… so we are almost ALL inkommets. It takes time to find your circle
