    Thanks for the tips.
    I got the 65 inch A90J, I'm seriously impressed with the sound quality, and the picture is superb, this is my first oled, coming from a 12 year old 46 inch Toshiba led. I used a vogels thin wall mount, sits about 20 mm from the wall.

    I noticed tht when i have reality creation on even on 4k content it makes people look life like an has so much depth, but i also like motion flow so to each his own lol

      Motion flow should be used at most only in 1 or 2, so that it can minimize the stutter while not adding soap opera effect and artifacts.
      A pity that OLED technology can't display true cinematic motion. Camera pans in good cinema theaters are butter-smooth.

      I checked it out at the store today and the first thing I did was put on game mode. No blue push at all. Game mode looks just like custom mode. Identical actually.

      Just by manually adjusting blue color in the settings for now. Otherwise we can't change temp in game mode.

    hello, thank you for your videos. can you show us a film in test with the bravia core. I am looking for a cinema image and currently I have an oled panasonic. Do you think I'm disappointed with the image of the sony because I have the impression of an image with the camcorder effect. thanks for your return. last question the 120 hrtz mode is it really good on call of duty, do you really see a difference please continue

      I am working on that for this weekend. I played COD 120hz it was good at 120hz but there is no VRR right now for sony ps5.

    My only issue with it is the sharp near black chromatic overshoot, which in leyman's terms means it artificially sharpens shadow detail causing a unrealistic reproduction of the near black detail that can make it look washed out.

    I have the A9G77 and I can tell by this clip this tv is noticeably brighter!

      Does the TV being more brighter make that much of a difference? The brightness for me seems good enough. I don't need to be blinded to enjoy watching TV.

    How many nits were you able to get with it? I heard realistically it can only get to 600-800ish

      775 measured officially by one pro yesterday live on youtube... 1300+ in vivid mode which nobody may watch but also no other OLED can touch that regardless + no ABL

      Also that 1300+ is in 10% window.

      @@seanwilson9502 yes there is ABL. You're thinking of the Panasonic. All other OLEDs have ABL

      Yes. I reset picture mode and now it shows Cool, Warm, Expert 1 and Expert 2

      @@illtones_ yes maybe Sony always good in processing is just the price is too much, but when i choose between a8h and CX i go for CX a8h is great but i played games alot. next year when the price drops i might get a90j.all i can say any oled is way better than regular lcd is a game changer.

    i told you when you couldn't get temp settings to work with gaming - when you have a special setting for the picture mode - the temp options wont' work.

      I will work on Custom mode and replicate what we have in game mode except the color temperature to get this sorted. Thanks for your input.

      @@MyGadgetsWorld - for the picture setting, there should be a "standard" or "normal" mode -something that allows for you to access the temp settings. you shouldn't need a "custom" mode for it.

      @@beavis4play yes but that destroys the purpose of game mode. Game mode is the only one with low latency and preferred mode to be used.

      @@Dawid1987 only on Netflix it's dark and pointless. Amazon and Blurays look good but only slightly better. I've played the same content with HDR and DV one after the other and colours look slightly tighter, with less bleed into other colours. Brightness varies all the time but usually not much difference. Very very small differences which most people probably wouldn't be able to tell. X930E is still one of the best TV's made and it probably says alot that it's so good that it can't really be improved on even with DV.

      @@Dawid1987 that's because the 930e played dolby vision horribly. It also used player led dolby vision, it wasn't tv led so it didn't have the built in chip. It had to use whatever the player was using or the steaming app so it was always worse then it should be. Colors were shit on that tv with dolby vision, the 930e was an sdr content king. Colors were amazing in sdr content. It played hdr ok but still not that great imo even if it had brightness.

      @@MyGadgetsWorld this is actually best done with a real scene brightness with real highlights from a movie because the theory is that the Sony is lowering its brightness for test patterns and bumping up its brightness for actual highlights during actual movies which is the opposite of what Samsung does which is test really high on the HDR patterns but then during movies it's actually lowering the brightness for the highlights

    I saw that the brightness level was set to maximum. Isn't this dangerous for OLED technology? Doesn't that shorten the life of the panel?

      Goodness. Don't have to make a video for that but those 2 actuators at 20W each and 2 woofers at 10W each are amazing sounding TV speakers I have ever heard. You don't need a soundbar for a living room. :) also dialogs are super clear in movies and speakers make a nice surround for movies if you are in a room.

    The blue hue is a deal breaker..not sure if it's the camera. That's my pet peeve with all oled's..hard pass on all oled's until they fix this..have to see it in person though to be sure

      it's not the tv - temp settings won't work when he has a special preset like "gaming mode" active. plus, in that vid he had some kind of "imax setting" for his picture mode - it's impossible to change temp settings in these modes. it isn't the tv - this guy isn't familiar enough with the settings.

    Still seeing judder when panning, that's the one huge thing besides ABL that bothers me with OLED.

      @@NexGenTek when it panned over the building tops that most certainly appeared to be typical judder I have seen on my OLED. Some are more sensitive to it than others, I tend to be very sensitive to motion issues. I noticed it as well in you gaming video, perhaps it's your camera but it really seems typical of my previous OLEDS including Sony.

      That is not judder at all. even if you see those type of patterns from your own naked eyes it should appear similar to that when moving like that. I would be more worried about artifacts , which thank God are not there.
