Thanks for the tips.
I got the 65 inch A90J, I'm seriously impressed with the sound quality, and the picture is superb, this is my first oled, coming from a 12 year old 46 inch Toshiba led. I used a vogels thin wall mount, sits about 20 mm from the wall.
I noticed tht when i have reality creation on even on 4k content it makes people look life like an has so much depth, but i also like motion flow so to each his own lol
i guess I am kind of off topic but does anyone know a good website to stream newly released movies online ?
Motion flow should be used at most only in 1 or 2, so that it can minimize the stutter while not adding soap opera effect and artifacts.
A pity that OLED technology can't display true cinematic motion. Camera pans in good cinema theaters are butter-smooth.
Excellent Vids 👍🏼!
I like the way you have placed us on the couch next to you so we are getting your perspective .
Keep it coming chief😊
Thank you so much for your kind word! appreciate it.
have u find a way to correct the overly blue push in game mode
I checked it out at the store today and the first thing I did was put on game mode. No blue push at all. Game mode looks just like custom mode. Identical actually.
Just by manually adjusting blue color in the settings for now. Otherwise we can't change temp in game mode.
hello, thank you for your videos. can you show us a film in test with the bravia core. I am looking for a cinema image and currently I have an oled panasonic. Do you think I'm disappointed with the image of the sony because I have the impression of an image with the camcorder effect. thanks for your return. last question the 120 hrtz mode is it really good on call of duty, do you really see a difference please continue
I am working on that for this weekend. I played COD 120hz it was good at 120hz but there is no VRR right now for sony ps5.
@@MyGadgetsWorld do you know if that Bravia core offer is available in Canada?
My only issue with it is the sharp near black chromatic overshoot, which in leyman's terms means it artificially sharpens shadow detail causing a unrealistic reproduction of the near black detail that can make it look washed out.
Hi, for Motionflow options, is there auto?.
Or only: smooth, clear, custom?
I have the A9G77 and I can tell by this clip this tv is noticeably brighter!
Yes. I made a video how bright it gets. It should be by in 6 hours.
@@MyGadgetsWorld Waiting for it. I wonder how many nits will reach? I hope for around 1000 in 20% of window would be great
Does the TV being more brighter make that much of a difference? The brightness for me seems good enough. I don't need to be blinded to enjoy watching TV.
How many nits were you able to get with it? I heard realistically it can only get to 600-800ish
775 measured officially by one pro yesterday live on youtube... 1300+ in vivid mode which nobody may watch but also no other OLED can touch that regardless + no ABL
Also that 1300+ is in 10% window.
@@seanwilson9502 yes there is ABL. You're thinking of the Panasonic. All other OLEDs have ABL
Is woth extra money if i want to buy a a8h or a90 j 65 inch both tell me your opinion
Check my nits Brightness calculation video if Brightness matters most to you then get A90J.
Can you show us in next video how the set looks standing up in sound bar position? Thanks again for another GREAT VIDEO
I might have to invite one of you guys to help me lift the TV. Just kidding. I will look into that, will need help from a friend.
Did you figure out how to adjust the color temperature?
Yes. I reset picture mode and now it shows Cool, Warm, Expert 1 and Expert 2
Soap Opera Effect
You said it right the first time bro 👍🏾
Thanks for the great content :)
Thanks man. :) Thanks for watching.
Is A90j replacement of A9G? i just got my CX i cant wait for the comparison of a90j and CX.
I’m expecting A90J to blow CX out of the water tbh
The Sony A8H is better than the cx
@@illtones_ yes maybe Sony always good in processing is just the price is too much, but when i choose between a8h and CX i go for CX a8h is great but i played games alot. next year when the price drops i might get a90j.all i can say any oled is way better than regular lcd is a game changer.
i told you when you couldn't get temp settings to work with gaming - when you have a special setting for the picture mode - the temp options wont' work.
I will work on Custom mode and replicate what we have in game mode except the color temperature to get this sorted. Thanks for your input.
@@MyGadgetsWorld - for the picture setting, there should be a "standard" or "normal" mode -something that allows for you to access the temp settings. you shouldn't need a "custom" mode for it.
@@beavis4play yes but that destroys the purpose of game mode. Game mode is the only one with low latency and preferred mode to be used.
@@MyGadgetsWorld Yes, but try using BT2020 colors from video option menu in picture settings
About new Sony BRAVIACORE 🎬 & IMAX enhanced / please make video about it ❤️
Yes sir. Scheduled for this Saturday for sure. Thanks for the reminder!
I am from India 🇮🇳 / you are good in explaining 👍 keep it up , thank you 👍bro
I love the soap opera effect!
What about reflections if its on a bright room??
Horrible reflections.
DV is life! If your TV doesn't support it, then your TV is d00-d00!
@@Dawid1987 only on Netflix it's dark and pointless. Amazon and Blurays look good but only slightly better. I've played the same content with HDR and DV one after the other and colours look slightly tighter, with less bleed into other colours. Brightness varies all the time but usually not much difference. Very very small differences which most people probably wouldn't be able to tell. X930E is still one of the best TV's made and it probably says alot that it's so good that it can't really be improved on even with DV.
@@Dawid1987 that's because the 930e played dolby vision horribly. It also used player led dolby vision, it wasn't tv led so it didn't have the built in chip. It had to use whatever the player was using or the steaming app so it was always worse then it should be. Colors were shit on that tv with dolby vision, the 930e was an sdr content king. Colors were amazing in sdr content. It played hdr ok but still not that great imo even if it had brightness.
we need comparison between qn90a and a90j in bright room not in dark
Got it. It is gonna be in the bright room. I am working on testing nits from QN90A and A90J which will tell accurate story about brightness.
@@MyGadgetsWorld thank you very much
@@MyGadgetsWorld THAT WAS MY NEXT QUESTION lol someone PLEASE VERIFY THESE NITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@MyGadgetsWorld this is actually best done with a real scene brightness with real highlights from a movie because the theory is that the Sony is lowering its brightness for test patterns and bumping up its brightness for actual highlights during actual movies which is the opposite of what Samsung does which is test really high on the HDR patterns but then during movies it's actually lowering the brightness for the highlights
@@rayhjr3577 problem is that I can't post any clips or testings from movies. Just got a copyright claim and had to trim my video :(
Great job and content
Thank you Michael.
I saw that the brightness level was set to maximum. Isn't this dangerous for OLED technology? Doesn't that shorten the life of the panel?
I like my a80j but I hate how even expert 1 has a cooler look than warm 50 on my lg c2
How can you get Dolby Vision Bright on A80J?
Hey great video!! How come you havnt mentioned anything about how the TV sounds ?? You paid good money for it, tell us how it sounds . Lol
Goodness. Don't have to make a video for that but those 2 actuators at 20W each and 2 woofers at 10W each are amazing sounding TV speakers I have ever heard. You don't need a soundbar for a living room. :) also dialogs are super clear in movies and speakers make a nice surround for movies if you are in a room.
The blue hue is a deal breaker..not sure if it's the camera. That's my pet peeve with all oled's..hard pass on all oled's until they fix this..have to see it in person though to be sure
do they all do that?
@@seanwilson9502 LG is also overtly blue but I guess people get used to it..from what I see online even sony seems to exhibit the same..only physical verification would put that doubt to rest..
it's not the tv - temp settings won't work when he has a special preset like "gaming mode" active. plus, in that vid he had some kind of "imax setting" for his picture mode - it's impossible to change temp settings in these modes. it isn't the tv - this guy isn't familiar enough with the settings.
@@beavis4play This is my first time trying OLED so I have no clue on that one
@@beavis4play check sparechange videos with an expert calibrator..same issue..too much blue on the screen..it's subjective some people like it and some don't
Please make more video of miles Morales gameplay on a90j plz.............
Ok. I will try to post more as soon as I find out how to change color temperature to warm.
@@MyGadgetsWorld thnx a lot bro..
Still seeing judder when panning, that's the one huge thing besides ABL that bothers me with OLED.
You're not seeing judder
@@NexGenTek when it panned over the building tops that most certainly appeared to be typical judder I have seen on my OLED. Some are more sensitive to it than others, I tend to be very sensitive to motion issues. I noticed it as well in you gaming video, perhaps it's your camera but it really seems typical of my previous OLEDS including Sony.
@@kyletennant4730 - no judder.
That is not judder at all. even if you see those type of patterns from your own naked eyes it should appear similar to that when moving like that. I would be more worried about artifacts , which thank God are not there.
@@MyGadgetsWorld I think is see stutter .. that the oled big problem
Sony OLED Or LG OLED tv 📺 choose one ☝🏻 😅
Which one for a bright room and less reflection?
How about both. :)
Both have equal reflections and they are worst by the way in bright room with dark scenes.
Sony
@@MyGadgetsWorld thanks for the info brother
I LOVE MY NEW 2021 SONY A90J XR OLED 65"
👌👌❤️
Thank you :)
dark scene are too dark anyway .. sony dont know oled setting
There’s nothing UP?!
PS5 + A90J 65" = PARADISE
true motion on this model SUCK!
Nice TV but very boring review!!!
