Iced Tea 4 Ways - You Suck at Cooking (episode 112)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 2 окт 2024
- Iced tea is very easy to make. It’s not as easy as hot tea on account of not having to subtract the heat from the tea once you make it which is an extra step. Unless you make cold brewed ice tea which takes forever which could be considered more difficult. When you want iced tea you want it now and there’s no need to wait. Except for the time it takes to make the iced tea because there’s no getting around that.

@@skyyjumpss723 how dare you
I used to drink tea pretty often, but the constant exorcisms to oust the tea spirits from my body were too much for me.
it's the one drawback
You can get around this by draining the ice tea again, but this time using a paper of your holy book of choice to stop the spirits from flowing into your container!
Tea spirits are attracted to fig newtons. Dunk one for each tea bag used in your unholy vessel before drinking to recapture the tea spirits. This renders the tea spirits fig happy and safe to consume.
Yeah, it can take some years off your life.

Fun fact: where I'm from, in almost every restaurant in my country, when you order an ice tea, instead of sugar packets they give you a small pitcher of sugar syrup to put into your drink, and it's great cause u don't even have to mix it in very much or wait for it to dissolve
May I ask where you are from? This makes so much more sense than packets.
we just say if we want it sweet or unsweet and they do it for us
Yeah, it's just simple syrup. We made a batch of it every day when I worked at a coffee/sandwich shop.
You just heat the water and add sugar until you can't add any more. Voila. Simple syrup, also known as dissolved sugar concentrate.
The advantage is that it's already dissolved in water, so it mixes extremely easily, even into cold drinks.
Where I am in the south they just give it to you sweet while anticipating that you want or already have diabetes and it requires no stirring.
Try adding fresh squeezed lemon juice to the sugar syrup.🍋🤯
When you realize that "heat remover" is actually the more accurate technical name for the refrigerator. Well played, YSAC. Well played.

This is the first time I have ever heard someone refer to a fridge as a “heat remover.” Needless to say, I feel d i f f e r e n t .
The great thing is that's exactly how it works. It doesn't add cold, just removes heat and usually puts it in to your kitchen.
As someone who lives in a fairly metropolitan area, I think the most interesting thing about these videos is just imagining where this guy lives.
Open plains in the summer. Sheets of snow in the winter. It's so weird to me to see someone surrounded by so much nature. His house has to be some shack out in the forest, by rivers, deep in the mountains.
