I am very pleased that this carnival apparently didn't care much for clowns. There are too many creepy clown stories as it is. When he was looking at the painting at first and describing the horror, I imagined the ferris wheel as a giant saw blade, with the passengers all hanging on the saws teeth like they were giant hooks. I guess that means it was a good story, and not that I should definitely not create my own carnival.
The protagonist must have been emotionally starved as his father to be so easily mind controlled by the evil. Despite the fact of all the horrors that he realized moments ago. What a disturbingly sad story.
9/10 really like this one. Unique. Perfect length; good pacing; original concept. Likeable protagonists. Just the right amount of creepy. Perfect balance of answered questions and mystery.
Often people that aren’t educated in art think they don’t know what’s “good” or not. The thing is, whatever YOU like is good. You may not know what’s considered valuable in the art marketplace but that doesn’t matter. Whatever you like or want in your home is just fine. Anyone is entitled to their own opinion and bc it’s all subjective, you aren’t wrong.
Stumbled on your channel a few weeks ago and I'm shocked you don't have a wider following when those that do and then some aren't nearly as good in so many ways, narration, stories, etc. You have content I've not heard repeated over and over ❣️
Watching this 2 years later and gotta say. It’s still a fantastic story! Goes to show that even though Creepypasta’s have evolved into ever more linguistically and visually fantastical and chilling tales. These simple and less elaborate tales are equally if not More effective at chilling you to your bones and while I appreciate both I’ll always enjoy your way of storytelling! 😃🌹✨
Man Lighthouse, perfect timing. I just finished watching a very sad documentary on whales, and dolphins, and I really needed this after realizing I'm sick again. Thanks a lot, your constant uploads, and great narrations mean a lot to me. Thank you!
Quality piece, quality piece. I love the ambiguity regarding the event mentioned by the grandmother. I love the mix of creepy and empathy inducing sadness.
A very, very creepy story! It is all the more effective as I remember pictures like what was described. they were popular about 50 years ago. The pictures were large and usually depicted a carnival, a circus, something fun. The scenes were filled with lots of people and details that were not immediately noticeable until you looked for them. It was kind of like a picture that was also a puzzle. One of my favorite was a picture of a crowded park, filled with flowers and trees, ponds and lots of people. But when you looked close enough, there was a mermaid peeking out of the pond, and some of the butterflies were really winged fairies, etc. The pictures were very charming and I remember seeing them in business offices. One doctor that I was acquainted with had an entire collection of them on the walls of his waiting room. It was really useful as it would keep kids occupied and quiet for hours. At first I thought that this might be bittersweet type of story, where a lonely old man goes to join a beloved companion in a place where they will always be happy. Sort of like an old time Twilight zone episode. But the the story took a turn for the seriously terrifying. Let us hope that this man's son has someone who can break him free of the evil painting's.influence! Excellent story, marvelously narrated.
Great story and fantastic narration!! Thank you for the time and thought you clearly put in to each author's peice of work! Your ability to portray multiple characters with different emotions and personality really keeps my attention & brings everything to life as I listen!! Thank you from an ADHD guy

Oh this was nasty so so dreadful. The different views of the painting . What is it about carnivals that cause such unease? There are so many stories that feature them as being anything but fun places to visit that it's obviously a sence shared by many others, it can't just be the clowns. I loved the demonic description of the paintings true subject, even more the presence of the poor jogger.. I wonder if the police were to visit the apartment if they would even see a painting, like the blank wall that the two brothers would stare at. I guess that's a sign of a really good story , when you find yourself thinking of what's if's. Thank you so much for yet another amazing story and for the voice that brings it so strikingly to life.
I hate it whenever I experience the same life as someone in one of these I remember a painting that was the exact same And I had a similar experience Now I'm concerned about the ending of this Because this is way too relatible
I- this sad dad found joy in art again im barely halfway through im loving it but also he is very depressed and needs medical attention bc when you're so depressed you start getting hallucinations, it is more than depression. Feels like when you dissolve yourself into the media you consume to avoid your real issues
This story seems to be potentially inspired by the movie/book "the witches". In it, there was a painting of a little girl that the grandmother knew when she was a kid. The gmas childhood friend went missing and later was seen in the painting, aging as time wore on. I love this story. The writing and deliverence is terrific. 10/10.
Spoiler!! The painting didn't exist from his childhood and the antagonist was his brother Robert. I think his brother took him to his world ( wherever that was,) and it seems that anyone who has contact with him ends up there; such as the jogger. I just don't know how the father ended up with the painting, When it previously didn't exist. The mother said him and his brother would just stare at a blank wall and some how I think this action was the catalyst for the painting. I don't know why the painting was evil though and how his brother originally got trapped.
He should have just run and burned the house down instead of getting closer. Rookie mistake Great story mate and the narration was spot on as expected.
Great story but I didn't like the ending since it was something you would expect to happen and kinda boring I believe it would have been better if he would have died at the end or destroyed the painting and strange things would happen and by the time the officer would get there the room would be full of blood with his body nowhere to be found
Is there any story that you’ve read that hasn’t got the word ‘room? I’ve noticed you have an accent to that word and have noticed that I can always spot it.
