Enjoyed that, and listened to your views around sensible value expectations.
However, watching your, and competitors auctions, this year, it was uncomfortable viewing as car after car failed to reach your clients minimum expectations, and remained unsold, or looking for a deal to be done after the event.
All auctioneers were affected, to an extent, but Historics seem to be the widest of the mark.
A car will find its own value in the end...its worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. There is a marked softening in the market...as an enthusiast, I think it is a good thing....hopefully getting rid of some of the speculators, but since you advise the client on potential value, it seems that maybe you need to recalibrate to get these vehicles away.
Just my opinion of course.

Sadly its the old estae agent routine, offer a high sale price and you will get the consignment, only later to say "that is what the market sees it at" when it goes for less...However, they did well with my early M5! On a different note, why are they wearing headphones?!
