Great video guys. Thanks for the tips on traffic lights. Fellow Auusie here. Boy you were scooting. Loved the respect you should to our diggers in Gallipoli. What must jave been going through thr head's. We did Istabul and Capadoccia 18 months ago, as part of our 3 month European trip, but we flew. Absolutely loved Capadoccia. I cant get enough of Europe. Spent two months earlier this year dragging snowboards all over the place lol Exhausting. We had no interest in doing the balloons, but the sight of watching them from our roof top was amazing. We stayed in a Cave Hotel and it was just amazing. Did a few tours. But loved our Quad Bike tour. The dirt and moutains remind me of one of the old Western Movies. We have just booked to go back to Greece and Turkey next July. Love both places. We are spending 2 weeks doing a road trip down the Turkish Riveria from Bodrum to Antalya. You really missed so much there is to see on the way to Antalya. The more i research the more i wish we had more time. Safe travels to you both and thanks for sharing. Caz
Evet Türkiye çok güzel! I was there last year in April, for two weeks, all in Kapadokya. I did not get bored at all, and I still have things there on my bucket list. And a good suggestion: never enter by car a city you are not familiar with. I always bring a bicycle with me, to explore the place before getting in.
Great video, answered a lot my question I had traveling to Turkey first time. How did you rent car ? Can you rent car in Istanbul drop off in another city? What kind of car did you recommend for family of 5?
Rented at the airport in Istanbul and dropped off at the airport close to Cappadocia… I would recommend the biggest car you can afford with that many people :-)
I didn't use anything other than the navigation apps. I found both Google Maps and Apple to really struggle in some of the cities. They didn't recognise all of the one way streets and the entry to gated areas was also confusing at times. Perhaps they have improved this by now.

Great comment, would love to learn more about what is on your list!!
Great video - really helpful for organising a road trip. Thank you.
Thanks for watching, glad you found it helpful :-)
Only 7 days for Türkiye? I think the name of the channel to be FastDriver :) I subscribed to the channel. Thank you for the nice share :)
I agree. Was a number of miscalculations on this one… there are two or three sections of this whole trip that should have been 7 days :-)
