- In this video I review a $7 Speaker that I purchased off of Geek.com which is a subsidiary company of Wish. This speaker is an interesting purchase given just how cheap it is and, in this video, we are going to test out the quality of such a device.
Thanks for watching & I hope you enjoy the video!

These are fun to tear apart and change the internal parts. I have put different types of speakers and a bigger battery in it and made it better. I use these as background music speakers and I use my Bose speaker for more major listening. I have family come over and nice to have some background music that sounds better with the upgraded parts. I have bought at least ten of these to experiment with and fool around with. They make great tinker speakers!
until you buy th 3 dollar version and it has a 100mah battery and a 0.5 watt speaker
for the 5.07usd free shipping i paid for the speaker its ok for the price
I got a fake JBL for £1.93 😂
Got a fascination for shit quality so might as well get it
Hahah, yeah look same here - I thought it would be interesting to buy just to have a look at
Hi with the usb instead of using the usb for music can you plug a charger in there and charge phone?
Unfortunately not, doing so doesn't appear to do anything with my phone
I got this because I love collecting Bluetooth speakers and compare and sound test them against more premium ones got mine for 12 bucks including shipping and hopefully get it soon
i got mine for 6.28nzd at that price the speaker is fine if i payed like 15nzd + would not be worth it
Does the red LED go out when the battery is fully charged?
I got it for like 6 bucks and I think for the price it sounds decent enough. I haven't tested it on 100% volume but I use it below 50% and it sounds okay, I can definitely hear the expected quality when some songs play (melody sounds a little distorted or singers "don't" sing in optimal tone/key in some parts of the song). What I also noticed is that it disconnects me from my phone quite often and it turns itself off. Some biggest cons are also that it speaks "Bluetooth connected" at full volume so it's loud for no reason and it's impossible to lower it down. Also I quite haven't figured it out yet how to charge it and it's impossible to know on which percentage is the battery. So yeah, the speaker could have been way worse but for the price it's decent enough. Still, like this guy in the video said, I strongly recommend JBL speaker or any other high quality speaker on which you would have to spend way more money, but at least it would be way more worth it than this. Also note that I haven't tested anything else on the speaker, just the Bluetooth mode.
Have you figured out how to load it yet? I have that problem with mine. :(
You can use a USB cord to use FM function. The longer, the better. Just connect it to the micro-USB port.
did not work for me
Work for me!
Thanks man this video is very helpful 😊
It sounds like a transitior radio from the 70s kind of fun though.
What is the actual battery backup???
I don't see what your gripe is. That gizmo cost 7 bucks. What did you expect? Bose or B&O?
I have one, and is a great speaker for $5 I spend here in Mexico
The unit doesn’t have an fm antenna wire connected to it. If you locate the empty hole in the pc board sand solder a short length of wire and coil it round the perimeter of the unit you can get the radio to work!
At least yours work.
I got one from my grandma and it doesn't work despite hours of "charge".
I am pretty sure that it is counterfeit as this "Atlas for men" speaker doesn't appear on the company market :/
I won this in a mystery box vending machine here in Korea, it cost me 10,000 won or about 8$ lol.
Does it play music while charging.
Is there a way to turn down or mute the voice?
Not that I was able to find sorry, it just speaks out in its top volume all the time
@@Spartiosh That's a shame, thanks for replying though.
What do you expect for $7 ? I bought one knowing it wasn’t the best but perfect for the beach
How much rupees
I can't configure the radio, someone can do it?
Lets add that at that price it is sure that it come from bad work condition or exploited labour.
i really liked and enjoyed listening to how much it costs after noting how horrible it sounds.
Lol I wish I had watched this vid before I bought 1 only had it a month and can't take it off dc mode soon as I do the battery is dead... I paid extra for a longer life bat too
aliexpress randomly send this to me... wtf
Strange haha, better have some with it since you now have it!
"I can't complain to much given it only cost $6....." Yet all you do during the whole video is complain 😅
You’ll be surprised who tone deaf and like if not love those cheap China speakers. I personally can’t stand those tinny no bass speakers. I like my Soundboks, Aiwa, Ultimate Ears, JBL, Infinity & Harman/Kardon speakers
I buy this today :(
Hyathis Lee How is this??😢
