I like very much the EWA A106. It's stylish, feels very solid and well-built, and sounds amazingly good for its micro size. My only complaint about the A106 is sometimes I have to turn up my phone volume to 100% for it to be loud enough. I wish the A106 had a little more power. Another EWA speaker I like is the A109. Unlike the A106, the A109 has some on-board controls and even has a SD card slot. It does not have as much bass as the A106, but it has much better volume (at least with my phone). Even though it has less bass than A106, A109 still has rich, satisfying sound. It's surprising how great these EWA speakers are for such a low price.
I have the EWA and is the best smallest sounding speakers ive had!! I think im going to buy like 3 of them!! Battery is amazing! I use my small speaker to ride my road bike. Back pocket sounds loud enough and small enough that it isnt in my way!!!
Great review. I was looking for a tiny speaker to use while I hike. Don’t need something loud or punchy…I just need one that’s quality with good battery life. Great video. Thanks.
Thanks so much for the review. I'm a one bagger and originally got into tiny Bluetooth speakers when my radio died in my car and it was $20 to fix listening to music decently via an external speaker and my phone instead of the $160 to replace everything. I use the mini ones for all sorts of things but simply walking while listening to music where I don't need headphones and I can still listen for cars coming on rural roads without a sidewalk is the main one. I find just about any situation where dingy default speakers (like my laptop or phone or my dad's desktop) can usually be fixed with something small like that and I can velcro it right to the device sometimes too.
@@theticuncle6329 I've owned a couple through the past 2 years now, but I believe the marsboy is the one I was referring to here. I still love that one but my dad acquired it after he liked it so much haha.
I'm a long-distance hiker. 2000 + miles at a time. The small speakers are great when you want something that doesn't weigh much or take up much room in your backpack. Thanks for the review, it was helpful.
I'm a lifelong backpacker and am searching for a lightweight speaker, so thanks for your review. So far I found that most tiny speakers weight about 3-4 ounces and the next step up is around 7-8 ounces. Seems to me the 7-8 ounce speakers are about the smallest you can go to get good sound. The real tiny ones are just too tinny soundings and lacks even the minimum amount of bass. They may be satisfactory for playing podcasts but not for music unless your standards are really low. What are your thoughts?
I have a JBL Go 2 i bought at T.J.Maxx for 19$ last week. Very very clear sounding speaker. But not exactly the size your looking for i don't believe. Just Dont get a Jlab Crasher Mini, Its sad
I received the ewe a106pro as Christmas present. I was just about to listen to it for the first time so I thought id look for some info on it. I enjoyed your review a lot. Mostly because you don’t act like a jackass like tons of other creators trying to become a star. I appreciate you.
I work in a restaurant and I can’t have an speaker seating around so I use a tiny speaker on my key chain and use it when is time to clean and close the restaurant, so it’s nice to have an small speaker attached to you and walk around with some music playing while cleaning, i can’t use a regular speaker cuz I am constantly going to the cooler/freezer/ out to take the trash etc and keeps disconnecting, so its nice to have a tiny speaker hanging on your keychain while walking around, a nice background music nothing too crazy, and yeah it has to be lil better than my phone speaker, monoho is the one I am using I love it and it’s perfect for what I need 🙂👍🏽
one thing you could add to a review category, is what the latency time is for external audio input. that's useful for if you want to put an instrument through. like an electronic keyboard. ideally, zero latency would be best but latencies might end up increasing for speakers which use DSP processing for improving the performance of the speakers response.
I have an EWA A106-- have had it for 2 years. I normally use it for talk radio/ pod casts. Not really music. I have a number of high end BT speakers and for a mini this one is defiantely the best and not bad for music in a pinch.
Mate I’m a scaffolder here in Australia and we all buy these and a bit larger size speakers to hang from our work belts/ the tougher the better / best one I’ve owned was the moki aquabass because of durability.!! I’m currently using Sony extra bass srs -xb12
This was a nice review of what speakers you have. Now for me, I’ll take the nut/Acorn speaker ‘cause I can hang it from my rear view mirror & it has a deeper tone which I find more soothing. I bought a tiny speaker so I can listen to music while falling to sleep, without having to hold my phone or having it shut off. Also my laptop is OLD so the speakers are crapped out & I can barely hear YT videos, I always don’t want to wear headphones.
My BenQ monitor has THE worst sound of all time, along with an old Mac Mini I use as a file server etc. I'm considering getting that EWA speaker and velcroing it to the back of the monitor so it's possible to watch stuff without always having to send the audio to a soundcard. I'm guessing it will sound better than laptop speakers too. As a music producer & travelling DJ it's always useful to have convenient little tools like that for more than just passive listening purposes. Thanks for taking the time to make this video, I found it informative & helpful in choosing a micro speaker
Very great video! Thank you so much for reviewing these. The INSIQ is also sold my a Japanese store called Miniso. I had the speaker for a while (BTS0011) and it was great. However since it unfortunately fell off my backpack on one of my adventures, I've been looking for a replacement and the EWA A106 looks like it will do the trick!
I'm getting one of these speakers tomorrow. But a friend of mine uses a similar speaker as a sound machine of sorts. She collects dolls, and makes them interactive. So I guess what she does is queues the sound on her phone and I don't know, maybe attaches the speaker temporarily to the doll's clothing somehow and turns it into an interactive doll. I'm not sure exactly how she did it, but you were asking how people used these tiny micro speakers. Btw, I'll be using mine on my treadmill.
I wish you featured the Inpods littleFUN because i use to own one, the sound quality are really balanced when it comes to lows and mids, although the highs are much louder but the sound quality for the size is above average.
Micro speakers are great for cycling or running...where you need open ears to be aware of cars, don't want to bother your friends with your music choice and need something light weight)...
Nice review, thanks. I teach English in Japan, and some places don't provide an audio player, and those that do only have huge CD players for the regular CDs provided: a pain to use an haul up to the classes. So I decided to rip the CDs to mp3 and play through my own mini bluetooth speaker via mobile. I have a small Sony cube speaker at the moment, which works well, but I think I'll switch to the EWA - I have to carry these in my backpack all day, so something as small and light as possible without losing sound quality is what I need!
As a soldier I don't have my phone out there or enough battery to sustain it for music. So I bring a mp3 player and clip it on my armor and connect a mini speaker that's also clipped on. I use it when appropriate and it makes the days out there just a little bit better. It's better for me if it isn't too loud anyways, I like it to be a background noise really so it doesn't draw attention or take away from my perception.
Instead of buying these speakers, I bought a $9 Onn Mini Rugged Speaker at Walmart and has by far better audio quality for a 3.2 Watt driver, 7 hours of playtime, iPX5 water resistance, more resistant design, play/pause, +- and track controls. It has many mores features than any of these speakers and cheaper too, However. There another version of the Onn Speaker it has 5 watt driver with a passive radiator, better water resistance, better battery, rubber on the outside of the speaker which feels nice and it only cost 5 dollars more than the 9 dollar one.
I have the Ewa speaker, searched for reviews of it and turned up here, just wondered what other people thought of it lol. Yeah it's REALLY good. Should have usb c though
Now this was a good video very informative thank you so very much I subscribe to you valuable information thank you Wow this video is absolutely amazing what you did for us is invaluable we can't thank you enough for you taking this and allowing us to know the difference and see the difference experience the difference and know the truth there is no variables in truth right it's an opinion right but yet it's truth so I love it thank you
I have tested alot of bluetooth speaker 🔊, the one to beat is the LX7 Wireless Cube LX 851. It has a powerful 5w speaker, which really beats all mini speakers.
thank you for sharing the info, I am ready to buy the EWA 109 that has a micro SD card I need it to use at work, I can hide between my clothes. They provide radio but there is always someone take it to their workstation :) no matter who got it first. lol
I'm buying the EWA a 106 To use when I'm walking in the park and out n about The main reason is I don't need to put anything in my ear and also control the volume according to where I am and not looking as if I've always got something in my ears and also guys believe it or not it sounds like live music especially when you're out in the open and not sounding artificial like ear phones... I'm going to blast it tomorrow!!! .
Is your EWA A106 pro still working? Mine starting to have issues all of a sudden. It still connects to my laptop but the blue light is still blinking slowly, not flashing fast as in the pair mode, I wonder anyone know what does it mean? I noticed the sound is not as loud as before and only have sound sometimes when I choose speaker as headset option, but have no sound if I choose speaker under headphones option. I tried pressing the reset button but didn't really make any difference, any idea what's the problem and how to troubleshoot?
In comparison to the mini speakers in your video, even though this one is larger what do you think of the sound compared to speakers here with the JBL Go mini bluetooth speaker
I am here to find a speaker that can be combinated with a terrarium (don't know if that's a good idea or not :") , cuz this is my assignment and I have to mention how I will provide the sound feature). and.. I am good with the best one, but somehow I can use the muted too like,.. .not all customer will happy with loud sounds. But again, idk how to choose it (and please give me some advice on my idea to combinate terrarium and speaker, I will really really appreciate it)

I had the wireless airpods from miniso... straight up trash!
Do any of those speakers have aux input? I use small speakers as a practice amp for my iPad. I find aux cables to have less latency than Bluetooth.
He has product links in the description. Why don’t you check those out.

keep up the good work
Is it just me or when I connect plus my JBL charge 4 with my flip 4 the Charge 4 loses lots. Of volume making the flip 4 louder?
I've noticed this with my flip 4 and pulse 3.
its the “master and slave” issue
Try Kr 8800 and Royqueen ledge? it may not be small speakers anymore , thier size range medium to large 😅

Very good review thanks 👍
Pro U (2] speakers are great!
Thank you for your recommendation
Man the EWA A106 is awesome! Value for money and punchy bass, great micro bluetooth speaker. 👍😁
Video starts at 2:46 and is better if you increase the speed to 1.25x
@DXL Willington Could you Test the Auna Dr Beat please?
I want to see speed link speaker.
Ok am back and ready to watch
Speaker drivers:40 mm or 30 mm
I want one that small so I can fasten it inside my welding helmet without smashing my head or creating too much of a confined space
True wireless earbuds are the best
I’ve been comparing micro speakers and I’ve been disappointed by most that I’ve heard. The Polk boom jr. is probably the best sounding so far. The JLab micro sounds good also but has limited volume.
thanks good video
its 2023 can you make an update?
Small but at least 8h off battery life just to work would be great
good vid man
Please try the bass egg that might be good
