ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, all of these!!! Kudos for thinking "outside of the box".
The bar/laundromat is a brilliant idea. You can grab a pint while waiting for your clothes to get clean.
Lots of clever ideas. While good food and well made drinks are paramount for me, things like these stick in my memory and bring me back again, usually with new diners. Ambiance
LEGO is both singular and plural, as in one LEGO or a box of LEGO, so to be correct, it would be LEGO bricks in the wall.
Exactly....it is most annoying when ignorant people use the word "Legos"
I threw some confettis, then went and ate some macaronis, driiving there on a road of gravels. :-)
Looks more like Duplo to me.
@2:35 : The chess set of salt and pepper shakers is too cool !!!
Everyone of these is fabulously clever. Congratulations one and all!
"Subtle Pterodactyl" sounds like a tongue-twister!
Angela is used for any situation from human trafficking to spousal abuse not just for tinder and most bars in America use this system
I hope they actually meant 1 way mirror. 2 way would be plain glass, wouldn't it?
A "2 way mirror" is defined as: a panel of glass that can be seen through from one side but is a mirror on the other." Alas, you and 4 others don't know this... but now, at least you do.
@@lesliejackson149 Thanks for claryfying. I thought that it must be called a "one way mirror", too.
i love the name and shame reviews. Just so everyone knows about that person
1:26So you can sit in your little cubicle of loneliness staring at blank plywood partitions. How thoughtful. They might at least be by a window that you can gaze out of
8:25 For quite a long time the McD in Karlsruhe-Mühlburg, Germeny, had a decommissioned railway loco Type 798 (so called Schienenbus) for kids birthdays and happenings. When the Deutsche Bahn renovated the station platform (the McD is in a former railway station) it had to be removed, no idea what became of it. Probably scrapped.
i bet that the bar/restaurant where you get the bill in a folder that says "damage" has a Dutch owner...
for we, in the Netherlands, frequently ask "what; s the damage" ("wat is de schade?") when we are about to pay for our drinks and/or meal(s).
that explains why my father kept saying that. He's dutch
It's a common phrase in England too. "What's the damage, Chief?"
It's common in Canada as well
did anyone else notice that the chess set was set out wrong?.... cool idea though :)
Sure did. I do like the idea of the salt-and-pepper-shaker chess set. Eight more of the pawn shakers would let it double as a checker set, though it would have to include some of the chess pieces to allow for promotion of the checkers.
Yes, but that I have seen too often in videos.
WTF on tinder knows what a taxi is?
I did my wash in Reykjavik's laundromat cafe. Both the wash and the food were first rate.
Just a comment about the soda (pop) machine with local sodas. I couldn't read all the varieties of pop (soda), but at least two are nationally known brands: Frostie Root Beer & Ski. I believe Ski is made by Double Cola, so I was a bit surprised to not see it amongst the varieties offered at this machine.
5:11 Exhorbitant prices!! And still they expect to get a tip!! More than scandalous!!!
8:09 In CIVILISED countries extra fries are always FREE!
9:34 Let them buy their own beer! They are payed to do their job, so they can afford it! Besides $ 10 for 6 beers is theft!!
9:58 Who wants to take a BATH in a restaurant???
Relax, kid.
Have a drink and a bath.
@@seeingthepattern😂, yeah 😹
The OG commentator probably doesn't know that Bathroom is the polite way of saying "toilet" and the soap is meant for ones hands ✋ ✋ when eating. With fragrance would disturb the sent of the food, being the reason.
“Generic sodas instead of brand names”
Ok… that place is cool because they’re cheap? Lmao
*local sodas
10:42 shows not just generic ones, I've never heard of any of those shown! 😯
There is no such word as "Legos"...The plural of Lego is Lego. Same as the plural of sheep is sheep......or do you call them "sheeps" in America?
No, but who cares, it's a video, not a test.
@@marshafick4006 The makers of Lego care greatly...and it shows total ignorance
@@ElsieJoy39who peed in your cornflakes..
@@ElsieJoy39 There are so many more important things to worry about!
As a non-English speaker, I say "sheeps" when seeing multiple sheep.
5:09 I'd like to go to that restaurant, just because they recognize and give kindness. 🤍
Better throw your money in the fireplace!
@@Guillaume2606 🤨 Huh? That doesn't make sense to me. You don't like to try new eating places sometimes?
What?
