This is definitely a fair tier list for S2 as these are mostly based on what they've shown so far in the anime. Looking forward to the future S3 and beyond tier list update, and how it will drastically change the placements of a lot of characters here.
The 2 sisters are great characters hut the anime cut it and oh boy is their story a sad one 23:22 the 2 girls behind Paul is them, they were. How do i put this, teleported near bandits and bot treated well. The smaller sister has more trauma, she is scared by even a glance by a man, thats why the other one dressed the way she did ao she got the eyes and not her sister.

"Blue haired sword girl" was there for those of us who are light novel readers. She was right where she needed to be and did what she needed to do. I was very happy after Episode 0 trimmed out the rest of Princess Ariel's attendants, that "Blue haired sword girl" was included where she belonged. Also for anime only's there are clue's to "Blue haired sword girl's" identity in season 1.
The Ranoa arc may be the least appreciated but it is certainly a very important one, there is a lot of personal development for Rudeus as well as introductions to many characters. Personally I would have ranked Zanoba as S class although I may be too biased haha. I also noticed that you didn't rank Hitogami in the previous tierlist, neither Almanfi and Perugius xD but these last 2 we really don't have much info. The best way to describe Sylphiette is "The Goddess of Love".
Some characters missing since season 1 that are worth keeping in mind are. The "miko" (blessed child from Millis) who appeared in the Eris and Cliff OVA, also her guardian knight Theresa Latria, the Pope of Millis, The Sacred Beast, Perugius, Almanfi, the swordsman who took Ghislaine from the great forest when she was a child. It's funny that Rudeus was supposed to meet another of the great powers on his way home in S1, it's a pity that the anime didn't adapt that part.
Back when I did the S1 tier list I was as invested as I am now in the series. Little did I know this series is one where characters even shown once or twice may make a big impact. What I will likely do is a re-rank from a LN perspective once I begin reading the LN.
I suggest you to read light novel from beginning one chapter a day. As the anime is good but i dont think it does justice to the original source. Or you can use audio book which you can find easily on youtube. The side chapters and other characters perceptive add so much life to the story. Hope you will give it a chance.

And Norn definitely in high A tier for me since her character "arc" and maybe can be S tier if i try to read the light novel because the ln definitely goes deeper into it (i assume)
Fair point with Ghislaine. She was only referenced once in the entire season and it was Rudeus acknowledging her as his "master". I would imagine she'll make a return in season 3 especially if Eris makes her way back into the story.

On the other hand the novels are highly enjoyable and it is a form of cruelty suggesting a Mushoku Tensei fan to withhold himself from reading the novel.
Based on the anime ye i mostly agree but as a light novel reader knowing what i knew up to where s2 ended i would have changed darius a ton lower as you saw the global version not the Japanese version where he got more hansy and you get to know what he did
Ideally I would have put him in the "trash" section as I heard he was much scummier (though I don't know the details). So from an anime perspective and given the limited screen time I put him as a "C" rank.
If anything Dillo is still ranked too low considering he's the only character not related to Rudeus by blood who also gets to sleep in the same bed with Rudeus.
Personally, I think Sarah deserves to be in A tier. She had a couple episodes dedicated to her and significantly impacted the plot, and yet she's on the same level as an armadillo and a statue that does nothing.
"As an armadillo" are you aware of the importance of Jirou? (jk) You make a good point though. Without her in the story, Rudeus would never have gone with Soldat and grow a lot from those (2 years I believe?) traveling with him. The statue is the updated picture of Kishirika as that is the only scene we had of her.
I mean based off the name... I can't blame you 😂 FYI.. in my first ranking video I actually put the Dragon God as a "B" Tier character, but having re watched season 1 multiple times now he is easily an "A" character for me.

Without that I still would have put him into D at best, for the assassination attempt on Ariel and the mentioned butt touching that was censored in the tv version if I´m correctly. But I saw the original scene not even a day later on yt or X. But in the end he´s definetly a cantidate for true trash^^

I love this story so much. We're talking about season three, almost halfway through the novels, and the main plot still hasn't been revealed. In a lot of ways I love Mushoku Tensei more than Lord of the Rings (while acknowledging LotR does have deeper lore and is the genesis of the modern fantasy genre, nothing can ever take that away from Tolkein).

When I read the LN I may re-do the ranking tier lists based on the LN as apposed to the anime as I'm aware some characters got overshadowed.
Pauls character development in the second half of the season was a cut above the first half.
