The thing is, some people literally get into a gacha game just because of a certain character. If that game barely gives any rewards and people end up losing the 50/50 on hard pity to that character banner they wanted then they’ll immediately start complaining about the lack of rewards being given, or the high pity rate needed.
@@dedinsideXD to be fair the game play in combat do get slightly better when you get to hollow zero etc but the pacing is so bad I wasn't sold on zzz, almost quit after the first 2 hours, it clearly wasn't the overhyped game that hoyo was advertising, the visuals are great yeah but the substance is ... i stuck to it because some people were so hyped for the game and pleaded to wait but it was such a chore The story and story telling is ok but so long, the pace is constantly broken by f*ing unskippable tv minigames, the first 10 hours of game play are just abysmal, slow ennemies that just stand around waiting to be killed, even the parry and dodge "cool" mechanics can't save it, and the battles are 2 min long for 15 min tv and story ?! Once you start getting to the loop the mini quest and missions take so much time because of the tv and slow paced story, you constantly are waiting to be able to play, and just get a 2 min game play every time ... even the mini boss are so slow When you finally get above rank 20-25 then the enemies start getting more agressive and the game play is finally starting to be ok, but the tv problem is still there, you still spend more time in mini games than fighting 💤 Right now the 15 hours "tutorial" and the tv have burned me out, i logged in, realized i was going to have to go to do a mission and just the thought of dealing with the tv made me close the game, just couldn't put myself through that again 💀 i might try again if they fix the game but since its hoyoverse i don't hold much hope ..., i already saw that they are going the genshin route with the 30 primo rewards for a big achievement, they probably are going to milk players for the minimum effort possible as usual ...

I hate when people immediately assume when someone says something positive about a game, they say that the person is sponsored. A similar thing happened to me on tiktok when i pointed out things i liked about the game and people immediately said i was sponsored or forced to play due to me being a hoyocreator on TikTok 😭
Well, it's true that people are after that Hoyo money and popularity, so anything positive is seen as you ass kissing Hoyo. Also, 3 outta the 4 gachas are Hoyo games, and people are tired of them taking so much space.

The best solution is to stop watching these dramas and play the dam game. Everyone have different tastes so their opinions on things would be different. It's as simple as that. Don't just mindlessly join some hate bandwagon towards a game before even trying the game out. Oh and most importantly, it's a game. Not reality. Please try to remember that. I personally play all games and even though these have some flaws, I just play it for fun and sometimes meme about it.

I quit Genshin because it was taking too much space and it realized it was kinda becoming boring to me. In my opinion. And someone on Hoyolab asked me why I had stopped playing (I’m friends with them on Genshin), and I explained why in a post. Then a few minutes later I got hate for quitting and finding the game boring, it was really confusing because I wasn’t putting anyone down or saying that Genshin/Hoyoverse was trash. In general what I’m trying to say, is that some people just decide to voice their opinions without thinking first and that if someone finds a game boring or doesn’t want to play it anymore you shouldn’t hate on them.
U basically can't say anything negative in hoyolab. My constructive opinion on Dehya got banned quicker than light during the scandal. Any favorable comments on the post got doomposting. The problem is not just about fanboys but also moderators and hoyo themselves. So I just stopped hyping whatever they threw at us. Still playing because of emotional attachment to some characters who I invested heavily in both times and money.

Recently got into Goddess of Victory: Nikke. My first ever real Gacha game. While i first was drawn by the typical "haha cute woman with big booba", the gameplay and story honestly got me really hooked. Especially all the chat and dialogue options you can have with each characters makes them interesting.
A phrase I think about when it comes to stuff like this is; "Understanding does not equal Agreement". No one wants to know or care why someone has an opinion or what lead them to it. Even if you try to have a discussion about an opinion. Even if it's from the stance of "i may not agree, but i can see where they're coming from". It's instantly taken as a defense for said opinion. I said it in another video. There is no "gacha community " there are only gacha tribes and if your not part of or working in the interests of that tribe. You're dispised and shunned. I myself had issues with the game crashing on the phone, being stuck on verifyinh files on PC, random crashes on PC, black screen. So if didn't happen to you, there is a lot of people it had issues with it. This game is not polished enought and a lot of users have issues. Hoyo allowing users to preregister and download, just to put that their device is not compatible and then include this in download statistic is scummy Game is honestly fine, I uninstalled because in CBT we complained about TV's being so boring and they did not listen to feedback, so I'm done with ZZZ. A decent part of the gacha community online is pretty immature, personally I dont like ZZZ, i find the game kinda mid and its just not for me. Its not a bad game. I can definitely see why some people like it. But i dont. And thats just my opinion.
This is why I say I don’t play gatcha games lol. When I tell people all they know is the community and immediately think I’m like that. I can understand if you don’t like a game or if you really like a game, but you need to put your opinion in a positive light. If you shove your opinion down people’s throats, people are going to dislike gatcha games and YOUR game even more.
I think it will only get worse from now as more companies will inevitably follow the Hoyo route and try to release their new gachas on multiple platforms in order to cater to as many people as possible. These games will ultimately face many limitations during the development stage and devs need to make a good number of compromises before they are even able to release a functional product to the market. The end product is rarely something game that can satisfy all mobile, pc and console players alike. All in all it is better for them to pick their audiences, stick to those markets only and you will see less arguments coming from the playerbase.
This is why I've stopped caring about other's opinions while never stating mine. The toxicity of this and every other platform has caused me to shy away from scializing with people other than the ones that I really know.

Hoyoshills are going through a hard tiem right now because for the longest of time they were on the top with Genshin basically dominating but this is slowly changing as we're finally seeing games that not only rival, surpass what genshin has done. Wuwa is just one example, but there's also games like Arknights Endfield and Project Mugen coming which based on gameplay videos that are floating around both will be better than Genshin in many ways and Hoyofans just struggle to cope with this change.
They just need to understand that competition is good for all the games involved, you get too comfortable at the top and you only end up with the 3 pulls and the google classroom situation, it doesn't just benefit genshin, if genshin improves then that will drive the other developers to make their games even better too, just my opinion
That's why I just play my two favorite gachas (star rail and ZZZ) and try to ignore the communities of other games, I had good talks with Genshin and WuWa fans who just accepted that people have different opinions, but most of the time it's just nonsense

= This whole drama really show how toxic each gacha community and overall gacha community have become, what scarier or more disgusting thing to me is that many of them hide and blame hoyo community for it, which is vile. I think another reason why it escalated this much was becoz it was Kuro VS Hoyo, these 2 community always have beef with each other since PGR release and now Wuwa with each Kuro game being a direct competitor to hoyo game. From my exp with both PGR and Wuwa, i can feel that Kuro aim to grab the more hardcore fanbase that left behind by hoyo, those people do tend to be kinda aggressive and yes of there is also toxic of casual from hoyo as well. = This is just from personal exp but i do not have good impression with Kuro community, specifically PGR community. I try PGR like last years, play about 3-4 months, get to the endgame and do a lot main loop of the game, when i first start i ask around on beginner tip, at first PGR players that i talk to in a few discord server was quite nice but that all change the moment they find out i was a hi3 player. Their attitude took a 180 so fast and ready to insult and being rude to me in any way possible, every sentence those people form will somehow contain some kind of insult or comparison toward hi3(all of it trying to push down hi3). I know i might be unlucky and met with the toxic side of community but that was a bad first impression ngl and the new drama with ZZZ didn't help either when a lot of hater come from wuwa players

Where he constantly insinuated that those sponsored by hoyo had a toxic positivity issue and werent genuine. There are always some pros and cons in pretty much every game and we can't compare a game to other if they are based on different themes, mechanics and playstyle. Personally. I see no reason to even attempt to try and save or 'improve' the 'gacha community', no one is going to put in the effort to do so. Because that would require the more level headed folk that VASTLY out number the zealots to start actively driving out the zealots, and No One is going to lift a finger to actually to do that, cause at the end of the day, the only people that truly willing to fight for their gacha games, and try to drive people out, are the irrational zealots ruining it for everyone else. The Irony. The rest of us will literally just go play something else, be it free2play or not. We will just go find something where the zealots ether aren't as loud, or are otherwise FAR easier to ignore/avoid. So Yeah, if these people wanna destroy the gacha space I say let them and just move on to something less migraine inducing. Complaining abt hsr voice actors, complaining about genshin skin colors, and complaining about other things in gacha games won’t change the game at all unless it has something to do with the game’s functionality. Hello from Egypt. TBH, I got tired to the extent of unfollowing multiple CCs because of how they're dealing with these issues. What mostly disgusts me, is the hypocrisy and double standards. I'm even playing ZZZ because I realize that with all that unnecessary hate from multiple CCs and other games' fans, it will not become a mainstream game (like HSR in its beginnings), and therefore Hoyo will give it even more care to try and push it to their standard popularity level of Genshin or HI3 for example, which translates to improvements to an already good game. I will keep an eye on other CCs and continue unfollowing people because of the reasons I mentioned above

This is legit the first gacha game I have even given the thought of installing and then played. It's cute, bouncy and funny. The TV stuff ain't that great because it breaks the flow. Other than that, I have been having fun....kind of helped that on the only pull I did(single, not the 8[10]) that I actually got the S rank shark/maid gal.(legit don't know any names and couldn't really care less)

Literally the EXACT same thing with the honkai impact community where I shared a Pseychie video reviewing the game that has 47 minutes and the community complained that it has the same score with TOF when generally HI3 is generally better, BUT THEY NEVER WATCHED THE VIDEO BECAUSE OF THE LENGTH and the video is reviewing it as a GACHA game, and HI3 is VERY predatory with annoying progression even worse for the first timer and the community WON'T EVEN HEAR IT OUT. 💀 Just for the relatability, I subscribed just now....
They should just make the TV system the same as SU or Elysian realm the concept are pretty similar the reason why TV felt tedious and boring because the gameplay are boring felt like you Play a mini game or something sort. Rather than using your character to move around smashing things etc etc you just moved in TV with some voice over. Imo rather than get rid of it they've should have just repurpose it.
Taking the system is not a solution but a cop out tbh what they should have done reduced the time in between Tv systems to cutscene and gameplay 20% TV’s 40% cutscenes and 40% gameplay. Also increase the base speed of all animations in the TV section it is too drawn out. If these changes were added I am sure most players wouldn’t mind it as much.
i think zzz is total garbage bcs when you have wuwa out setting the standard and you publish zzz you come out lazy and cheap: char design is lazy and cheap for concept and for realization and details, worldbuilding is cheap, the whole persona5-ish thing is cheap since if i wanted that i'd just play P5 which is a game with an ending. To me, a roster with chars that are just a anime stereotype is not acceptable anymore: here's the furry bear, here's the sexy shark maid, here's the wolf bcs hey... wolves are cool since Legoshi right? Here's a cyborg cos who doesn't like deadpool? Here... girl: she has no perks but b000000baassssss. Colors? what are they? just plain one and who cares. Cute moment? bongaboos with outfits. Cool.
It is best to just ignore them these days to enjoy the game you want to play. A lot of these people have this strange mentality of There Can Only Be One game or trying to make them self feel superior. I play wuthering waves, HSR, HI3rd, and ZZZ casually. I've been having fun playing them even when right now I am in the daily login farm phases for these games (stage when you done what you want per update and just login for daily then logout).

The thing is, some people literally get into a gacha game just because of a certain character. If that game barely gives any rewards and people end up losing the 50/50 on hard pity to that character banner they wanted then they’ll immediately start complaining about the lack of rewards being given, or the high pity rate needed.

i stuck to it because some people were so hyped for the game and pleaded to wait but it was such a chore
The story and story telling is ok but so long, the pace is constantly broken by f*ing unskippable tv minigames, the first 10 hours of game play are just abysmal, slow ennemies that just stand around waiting to be killed, even the parry and dodge "cool" mechanics can't save it, and the battles are 2 min long for 15 min tv and story ?!
Once you start getting to the loop the mini quest and missions take so much time because of the tv and slow paced story, you constantly are waiting to be able to play, and just get a 2 min game play every time ... even the mini boss are so slow
When you finally get above rank 20-25 then the enemies start getting more agressive and the game play is finally starting to be ok, but the tv problem is still there, you still spend more time in mini games than fighting 💤
Right now the 15 hours "tutorial" and the tv have burned me out, i logged in, realized i was going to have to go to do a mission and just the thought of dealing with the tv made me close the game, just couldn't put myself through that again 💀
i might try again if they fix the game but since its hoyoverse i don't hold much hope ..., i already saw that they are going the genshin route with the 30 primo rewards for a big achievement, they probably are going to milk players for the minimum effort possible as usual ...

I quit Genshin because it was taking too much space and it realized it was kinda becoming boring to me. In my opinion. And someone on Hoyolab asked me why I had stopped playing (I’m friends with them on Genshin), and I explained why in a post. Then a few minutes later I got hate for quitting and finding the game boring, it was really confusing because I wasn’t putting anyone down or saying that Genshin/Hoyoverse was trash. In general what I’m trying to say, is that some people just decide to voice their opinions without thinking first and that if someone finds a game boring or doesn’t want to play it anymore you shouldn’t hate on them.
U basically can't say anything negative in hoyolab. My constructive opinion on Dehya got banned quicker than light during the scandal. Any favorable comments on the post got doomposting. The problem is not just about fanboys but also moderators and hoyo themselves. So I just stopped hyping whatever they threw at us. Still playing because of emotional attachment to some characters who I invested heavily in both times and money.

Recently got into Goddess of Victory: Nikke. My first ever real Gacha game.
While i first was drawn by the typical "haha cute woman with big booba", the gameplay and story honestly got me really hooked.
Especially all the chat and dialogue options you can have with each characters makes them interesting.
A phrase I think about when it comes to stuff like this is; "Understanding does not equal Agreement". No one wants to know or care why someone has an opinion or what lead them to it. Even if you try to have a discussion about an opinion. Even if it's from the stance of "i may not agree, but i can see where they're coming from". It's instantly taken as a defense for said opinion. I said it in another video. There is no "gacha community " there are only gacha tribes and if your not part of or working in the interests of that tribe. You're dispised and shunned. Maybe even attacked if you belong to "wrong tribe ". Its dumb.

I myself had issues with the game crashing on the phone, being stuck on verifyinh files on PC, random crashes on PC, black screen.

Hoyo allowing users to preregister and download, just to put that their device is not compatible and then include this in download statistic is scummy

This is why I say I don’t play gatcha games lol. When I tell people all they know is the community and immediately think I’m like that. I can understand if you don’t like a game or if you really like a game, but you need to put your opinion in a positive light. If you shove your opinion down people’s throats, people are going to dislike gatcha games and YOUR game even more.
I think it will only get worse from now as more companies will inevitably follow the Hoyo route and try to release their new gachas on multiple platforms in order to cater to as many people as possible.
These games will ultimately face many limitations during the development stage and devs need to make a good number of compromises before they are even able to release a functional product to the market.
The end product is rarely something game that can satisfy all mobile, pc and console players alike.
All in all it is better for them to pick their audiences, stick to those markets only and you will see less arguments coming from the playerbase.
This is why I've stopped caring about other's opinions while never stating mine. The toxicity of this and every other platform has caused me to shy away from scializing with people other than the ones that I really know.

Hoyoshills are going through a hard tiem right now because for the longest of time they were on the top with Genshin basically dominating but this is slowly changing as we're finally seeing games that not only rival, surpass what genshin has done. Wuwa is just one example, but there's also games like Arknights Endfield and Project Mugen coming which based on gameplay videos that are floating around both will be better than Genshin in many ways and Hoyofans just struggle to cope with this change.
Saying one game is better than the other only cause of their developer is kinda stupid tbh.
They just need to understand that competition is good for all the games involved, you get too comfortable at the top and you only end up with the 3 pulls and the google classroom situation, it doesn't just benefit genshin, if genshin improves then that will drive the other developers to make their games even better too, just my opinion

= This whole drama really show how toxic each gacha community and overall gacha community have become, what scarier or more disgusting thing to me is that many of them hide and blame hoyo community for it, which is vile. I think another reason why it escalated this much was becoz it was Kuro VS Hoyo, these 2 community always have beef with each other since PGR release and now Wuwa with each Kuro game being a direct competitor to hoyo game. From my exp with both PGR and Wuwa, i can feel that Kuro aim to grab the more hardcore fanbase that left behind by hoyo, those people do tend to be kinda aggressive and yes of there is also toxic of casual from hoyo as well.

I try PGR like last years, play about 3-4 months, get to the endgame and do a lot main loop of the game, when i first start i ask around on beginner tip, at first PGR players that i talk to in a few discord server was quite nice but that all change the moment they find out i was a hi3 player. Their attitude took a 180 so fast and ready to insult and being rude to me in any way possible, every sentence those people form will somehow contain some kind of insult or comparison toward hi3(all of it trying to push down hi3). I know i might be unlucky and met with the toxic side of community but that was a bad first impression ngl and the new drama with ZZZ didn't help either when a lot of hater come from wuwa players

i'm playing zzz everyday and it's the most game im playing currently , and it's a 6 to a 6.5 for me , if you don't wanna believe that idc , but don't come and accuse me of lying because if the game is bad i will say that it sucks ,
Finally a creator who says it's fine to just enjoy the games you like. It feels like people literally can't enjoy a game anymore without ruining it for others's so only THEIR fun can exist. I love zzz it's made for chill peeps amd if you don't like it that's.....ok see nothing needs to happen. Nobody needs to hate, we're all gambling addicts together. I just don't like the style of wuwa, but is it a bad game? Probably not. People play it so there's something they love. I play hsr, zzz, and nikke, there is like very little similarly between them. Choose love over hate peeps it's a pointless weight to carry.
I feel like a lot of the extremism is also because of the narrative tectone has perpetuated before. Where he constantly insinuated that those sponsored by hoyo had a toxic positivity issue and werent genuine. He made to make sure not to name anyone so he can keep his hands clean if those creators were indeed bombarded by extremists so that he wont take accountability that he basically sent those minions their way.

The thing that I learned from the gatcha community is that "it's not worth your time to teach a donkey how to fly". There are always some pros and cons in pretty much every game and we can't compare a game to other if they are based on different themes, mechanics and playstyle. Finally to all the people comparing zzz with genshin, just remember genshin is more than 3 years old and zzz just came about 2 weeks ago

Personally. I see no reason to even attempt to try and save or 'improve' the 'gacha community', no one is going to put in the effort to do so. Because that would require the more level headed folk that VASTLY out number the zealots to start actively driving out the zealots, and No One is going to lift a finger to actually to do that, cause at the end of the day, the only people that truly willing to fight for their gacha games, and try to drive people out, are the irrational zealots ruining it for everyone else. The Irony.
The rest of us will literally just go play something else, be it free2play or not. We will just go find something where the zealots ether aren't as loud, or are otherwise FAR easier to ignore/avoid.
So Yeah, if these people wanna destroy the gacha space I say let them and just move on to something less migraine inducing. Not like we'll be missing anything of note anyway, since all the best games aren't glorified casinos anyway.

Kinda sad how hoyo community is now, mainly genshin. I miss the first month of the game's release and when the community was more like BA or Azur Lane's community. From chill times to one of the most toxic gacha communities.
I feel like people just try to start arguments over everything now a days, personally I like all of the gacha games people are complaining about, I might just be oblivious to the problems or something but why can’t people just either have fun playing the game or just stop playing entirely? Complaining abt hsr voice actors, complaining about genshin skin colors, and complaining about other things in gacha games won’t change the game at all unless it has something to do with the game’s functionality. Y’all know genshin won’t change the skin colors, so at this point just try to enjoy the parts of the culture that get put in the game or just stop playing and learn that games referencing culture doesn’t mean that they will reference the skin colors of the people those cultures belong to, it’s like your yelling at a brick wall, even my own comment is the same, no one is going to actually do what I say in this comment and the game devs ain’t going to listen you y’all either

Hello from Egypt. TBH, I got tired to the extent of unfollowing multiple CCs because of how they're dealing with these issues. What mostly disgusts me, is the hypocrisy and double standards. I'm even playing ZZZ because I realize that with all that unnecessary hate from multiple CCs and other games' fans, it will not become a mainstream game (like HSR in its beginnings), and therefore Hoyo will give it even more care to try and push it to their standard popularity level of Genshin or HI3 for example, which translates to improvements to an already good game.
I will keep an eye on other CCs and continue unfollowing people because of the reasons I mentioned above

True the community is the worst I’ve been a part of I honestly enjoy the game a lot it has a lot to be worked on but it gets tiring to see all the hate towards it but I simply do not comment or watch videos that talk about the negative things when I like the game which is the only thing that matters at the end of the day

This is legit the first gacha game I have even given the thought of installing and then played. It's cute, bouncy and funny. The TV stuff ain't that great because it breaks the flow. Other than that, I have been having fun....kind of helped that on the only pull I did(single, not the 8[10]) that I actually got the S rank shark/maid gal.(legit don't know any names and couldn't really care less)
man these people are so immature just let people play what they wanna play, at first I had no intention of downloading zzz until I saw Ellen and I decided I was going to get her and I ended up loving the game for its expressive animation. The only things in common with zzz and genshin etc are that they are gacha games and they are made by mihoyo(not wuwa).

Literally the EXACT same thing with the honkai impact community where I shared a Pseychie video reviewing the game that has 47 minutes and the community complained that it has the same score with TOF when generally HI3 is generally better, BUT THEY NEVER WATCHED THE VIDEO BECAUSE OF THE LENGTH and the video is reviewing it as a GACHA game, and HI3 is VERY predatory with annoying progression even worse for the first timer and the community WON'T EVEN HEAR IT OUT. 💀

They should just make the TV system the same as SU or Elysian realm the concept are pretty similar the reason why TV felt tedious and boring because the gameplay are boring felt like you Play a mini game or something sort. Rather than using your character to move around smashing things etc etc you just moved in TV with some voice over. Imo rather than get rid of it they've should have just repurpose it.
To bad, the fans already liked it by forced.
Taking the system is not a solution but a cop out tbh what they should have done reduced the time in between Tv systems to cutscene and gameplay 20% TV’s 40% cutscenes and 40% gameplay. Also increase the base speed of all animations in the TV section it is too drawn out. If these changes were added I am sure most players wouldn’t mind it as much.

i think zzz is total garbage bcs when you have wuwa out setting the standard and you publish zzz you come out lazy and cheap: char design is lazy and cheap for concept and for realization and details, worldbuilding is cheap, the whole persona5-ish thing is cheap since if i wanted that i'd just play P5 which is a game with an ending.
To me, a roster with chars that are just a anime stereotype is not acceptable anymore: here's the furry bear, here's the sexy shark maid, here's the wolf bcs hey... wolves are cool since Legoshi right? Here's a cyborg cos who doesn't like deadpool? Here... girl: she has no perks but b000000baassssss. Colors? what are they? just plain one and who cares. Cute moment? bongaboos with outfits. Cool.

I play wuthering waves, HSR, HI3rd, and ZZZ casually. I've been having fun playing them even when right now I am in the daily login farm phases for these games (stage when you done what you want per update and just login for daily then logout).
