- Pike’s Teeth is part of the black trail at Hamsterley Forest, it follows the climb from the main visitor centre car park on the black trail and it runs in most weather conditions.

I done this last weekend on my Vitus nucelas vr 29 hard tail....100mm forks 😂 2 guys at the start trying to talk me out of it...absolutely sent it! Amazing trail

@@JakeBrookesBiking unfortunately now because me being me went on the Sunday only to find out it was a race day 👀 so the trails you mentioned were closed for the race. Will be doing them the next time I go.
@@thewizard2465 they are a brilliant set of trails. I presume the race you stumbled across was the Hamsterley TT by NDH. If it was, it is definitely worth looking into. It’s a brilliant race to do 😊🏁
@@JakeBrookesBiking yes mate that was the race. I went back couple days ago done poltys last blast, sessions the jumps on k-line (amazing trail) then done accelerator nitrous transmission ect. The trails are amazing but the climb to the start of poltys last blast is crazy.
@@thewizard2465 It is a fair climb but it is certainly worth it 😊 They are definitely my favourite sections at Hamsterley

I’m not too sure either. I think maybe it was rated and then the track had a few changes and a little work done to it maybe... I’m not too sure. Haha

It's a black because it has crazy features what the camera doesn't pick up as being big...when you are on that trail you realise why it's black.
@thewizard2465 it's got barely any features at all mate, I've ridden it loads, a few roots, a tiny rock garden, a few sweeping berms then some jumps at the bottom you never have enough momentum to do
@@Oipwnmw2 mate I was on them last weekend the mid section is sloped I've hit the jumps section with too much speed on a run...easy to gain the speed and I rode this trail on my Vitus nucelas vr 29er hard tail with only 100mm travel. If your struggling for speed then it's your riding whats the problem. I can get crazy speed down there and that's on a hardtail
