I recently found the Baby Goat. I have used the pearl for fishing the bays of SoCal and it has been awesome.
On the incoming tide I will often just drift in my kayak and drag whatever I am using along the bottom. I have probably caught more spotted bay bass on the BG in the past couple of of outings than on anything else. I am fishing in water from 12 to 16ft deep, so I am not sure what the action looks like. No matter. I have used different jig heads as long as they "stand up" The Zman Ned rigs in heavier weights have worked. I also used a wacky jig effectively, and a weedless finesse rig. Just bought the green/orange BG for true finesse fishing around the docks. These are tough. Many fish. on a single rig; only changed when hung up on the bottom and broke off. It will be my go to now, along with the Trickerz in laguna shrimp. They love that too. Caught a legal sized halibut on that 2.75" baby.

The best part of that lure is that when people ask what you caught that big fish on you can say a " baby goat", bound to drive PETA folks crazy, LOL
