- In this 13 November 2023 excursion to a public conservation area pond, the NEW for 2023 Micro GOAT in Pink Glow color worked really well for panfish, expecially Bluegill. Fishing it with a moving, reel-twitch-reel retrieve allured lots of Bass as well as Green Sunfish.
The Micro GOAT was mounted on a 1/20th oz Micro Finesse ShroomZ jighead - perfect for this lure.
Pink Glow has been a great color for colder water temperatures. In future outings I plan to fish different colors of the Micro GOAT; can't wait to fish the Micro GOAT in a pond with a good population of Crappie.

I hooked into something that was taking drag for a bit. I knew it wasnt a bass unless this was some world record bass lol... I was using an ultralight rod and 6lb test. Yep turned out to be a 12lb catfish using this lure...Philadelphia, PA..
Don, great show with the Z-Man Micro Goat. You and I have fished lots in the “green salad”, but what a day with all the blue gill loving the pink color!
