I just got a Daiwa light spinning setup for using some of the Zman micro baits. I see they sell several weighted hooks (1/10, 1/15, 1/20, 1/30). Which weight do you think would be best for these baits?
Just tested the green pumpkin and pink glow LarvaZ last week in frigid west central Missouri water and was impressed. A few decent 8+ inch bluegill showed up, but they really did good on the bass. As soon as the water warms up in a month or so I think they will be deadly on the big 9+ inch green Sunfish that are in there...but asleep right now. Best wishes, Don
I bought some of them because they looked really good. I had the tails come off very easily. Like 2 bluegill and it was gone. Still caught fish on it after the tail was gone but I wished it wouldn't of broke so easy. 👊👍
I personally this zman had no business adding those cut segments to the baits because they are so soft anyways and they are so this near the cut segments they can really snap off easy. Although in the grand scheme of things it’s a fairly small issue given they still are more durable.
Is that a st croix premier? I just one in an ultralight last week as well as a pack of those black larvaz. Waiting for the ice to dethaw to give em both a try
I have a bunch of the shad fryz and sometimes they bite the tail off of those too. It usually takes awhile to get weakened, but yea they're just so thin. Gives great action tho. I love the shad fryz cuz u can bottom fish it or swim it
Just wondering here, what would be the best size jig heads to use for them. I'm so used to use a 1-1/16 oz. But they don't come in those sizes. Those z-man jigs are definitely cool. I think that bass, perch, crappies and even trout will tear them up. Great review and video
I’d like to see this same review on the upper chattahoochee River but reviewing all the new Z-man Micro Finesse lures, just to see how they do in North East Georgia

Sounds like you caught some nice ones! I think this is definitely a great lure for panfish! Thanks for watching!

Same thing happened to me was really hoping it had the durability to catch those small bluegills
I put these on VMC tungsten Mongo jigheads and same, I was catching sunnies and small rock bass in a lake out here. Pretty trick little set up!!
Cool video Aaron. Those were pretty little sunfish. Very cool. God bless you and your whole family....🙏❤🙏❤🙏😊🙂😀
What has been your favorite panfish/ultra light rod and reel so far?

Ive had issues with the tail as well even let my bait sit while getting bit and still had the tail ripped off

Yes, it’s the 6’6” UL. Good luck with your new rod and thanks for watching!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 nice review
Thanks!

I haven’t tried the Shad fryz yet, but maybe I should give it a shot! Thanks for watching!
I had the same experience with the tails of the larvae z breaking off after a few fish. Other than that, they worked great
Yeah, they work well, but the skinny tail kinda stinks. Thanks for watching!
Good video, Aaron ! Interesting eye color on the sunfish. Randy B.
Thanks! I thought the eye color was cool too!

Zman makes some micro jig heads to go with these but look into Mule Fishing lures. He makes some micro plastic specific jigs that’s awsome

Thank you for the information
and I will definitely look into them

I might have to sometime, or at least somewhere here in North Georgia. I'm sure they'd work up here though! Thanks for watching!
@@AaronsOutdoor1 thanks for doing what you do, it’s helped me be more productive in fishing these creeks and rivers up here in north east Georgia
Crazy how clear that water is!
