My home town. I do not need to live anywhere else. The sea is glorious in all weather. Nice memorial and picture of my great grandad who was a lifeboat man who did many rescues. Bless him. Great town which is constantly being updated and good restaurants bars cafes shops. It's a nice place to live. Thank you for showing seafront. ❤

Few little old nibbles for you...beach house park house...princess amelia. Beach House Park opposite has a memorial to pigeons. The old lifeboat house is now white after a pink phase and is along the prom nestled in between different design housing architecture. Further along is the Candian War memorial. The lido had dolphins in and my friends and I were the last ones to spend time in the lido before they closed the pool. You can buy fresh caught fish from the last and long standing Mr Bashford. A fisherman family still working from the beach. The museum is top notch. Has a fab show collection in. There a few blue plaques dotted around and lots of old alleys used for smuggling many years ago. It's a quirky town. We got the sea. We got the downs. We got a river and lots of villages. There's a castle with Lady C. An ancient centuries fig tree. Then just 7 miles out the Duke of Norfolk and Arundel. We are so lucky so many things surround this place.

As the saying states if it isn’t broke don’t fix it, keep the community you have and it will stay that way if you understand what I mean, and that’s coming from someone that know as I live in London, unfortunately.

Spend a large proportion of my childhood in Worthing and loved it, beautiful place. From the air the sea turns a beautiful turquoise colour on a bright sunny day 👌🏻. There’s some lovely fish mongers there, and The Mahaan on Montague Street is always worth a visit 👌🏻

I‘m watching this because I‘ve been to Worthing twice as a teenager in the late 70s. Of course, some things have changed a little but overall, I‘m quite surprised how everything still more or less looks as it did way back then. I quite enjoyed my time there, going to school and making new friends. So nice to see this place again!

Hi, my children and I have been on holiday there for the last 5 years, and yes it's clean, lovely sea and they have retained some of the old victorian shelters along the sea front.
We normally stay at the Premier Inn.
    It's a great place!

I really like that 'quirky' building. Having lived in a city with skyscrapers and modern buildings (a lot of which are lit up with different coloured neon lights at night) if the rest of the town had different types of modern buildings (also with neon lights) Worthing would seem like home to me. I really miss my modern city.

Loved this filming as Worthing holds a special place in my heart . I lived there from the early 60’s untill 1989 but my parents stayed there till moving to Hampshire . If you walk the other way along the prom you will pass some interesting buildings on the way especially Dolphin Lodge that used to be called The Towers . You can see them looking from the pier the other way . Great to see this ❤️

🤔 Incredible that someone complained about the ‘noise’ from your famous white trainers! 🙄 😂 My opinion is the exact opposite; I love their gentle crunch as you take us along with you on your interesting walks! 🤷‍♀️ Likewise, I love the quirky building - for the very reason that it’s quirky! It’s a refreshing change from the more ‘boxy’ types of structures that seem to pop up everywhere! I’ve never been to Worthing, but I guess it’s ‘worth’ a visit sometime, judging from the journey you took us on. I’m curious about the elephant 🐘 that was just past the quirky building. 🤔 Thank you for sharing this lovely seaside visit. 😬

I was surprised that someone got angry to the sound of your trainers! the sound just adds more interest to your videos in my opinion, please do not change it!...I lived in Worthing during 70/80s & went to school for a short time in nearby Goring. Worthing used to be so very quiet I remember, more people now & more buildings, but still retains its beauty of life by the sea, including the gorgeous Seagulls! thank you for another fantastic video...I could not read the plaque of the Elephant, do you remember what it said?...just googled it, a sad true tale of a baby elephant washed up on the beach nearly 100 years ago in Worthing.

Know it well, as I worked at Worthing Hospital for 28 years, before retiring. Cycled along there a lot of times too.
You can keep walking/cycling along the coastal path eastwards until you reach Shoreham Fort.

I grew up in Brighton but with family in Worthing so very familiar with it, used to he an absolute dive. We called it Seatroit for all the abandoned buildings everywhere. Regeneration has been good so far and the towns starting to become quite pleasant, just wish they would do something with teville gate by the railway station and get a decent bus network
That building is called bayside btw, new build luxury apartments

I first lived in Worthing 20 years ago. Moved to Wales for about nine years, then back to Worthing in 2012. So much has changed for the better. It's no longer 'God's waiting room', and a steady influx of young families escaping Brighton has breathed life into the town. For me, Worthing is just perfect. The promenade is just delightful, especially in the spring, summer and autumn months (I can see why it was in the top 25 places on earth to watch the sunset).
So yeah, I won't be making the mistake of leaving again. I feel truly blessed to have settled here. Yes, it has its problems, just like everywhere else, but the positives FAR outweigh the negatives.

You can walk the dog on the beach if it's out-of-season. During the spring and summer months they restrict dogs on the busiest areas of the beach. Head to East Worthing or West Worthing and it's fine all year round.

It looks a lovely place to stay. If I lived there I’d buy a bike to ride along the front and take in the sea air. Well can’t believe you’ve got a moan from someone about your trainer s…they can’t be a regular viewer or they would know you always wear them. It’ no problem hearing your feet 😂😂😂…..it wouldn’t be the same without your white trainers it’s your trademark… I’d love to know what that building is apart from a hotel I wouldn’t have a clue. But yes Worthing gets a thumbs up fro me.
