Very nice review, thanks. I wish the M1 has anodized tail cap thread like the M2 because not being able to mechanically lock out a light is very annoying for long term storage. I know there's an electronic lockout (hold power button for 5 seconds) but I prefer unscrewing the tail cap since that's eliminates battery drain and shuts off the flashlight completely.
Full review where I have measured the Acebeam M2 and made photos and runtime graphs is available here: timmcmahon.com.au/posts/acebeam-m2/

Fantastic review! 👍
Thanks! :)
I heard that this might be a limited release. There's already a new version (M2-X) coming with two push buttons. I prefer this toggle switch. 🤣
Mx2 makes it a more tactical style instead of handling it like a remote
i have the M2-X (MAO) - easy to use side switch
@@nitric75 MAO looks nice!
@@TorchHacker i am waiting for my M1 MAO also
Love the review, and I've really been digging Acebeam this past year. Might add this one to my arsenal. How many grams is the light?
Thanks! I measured 146g without the battery and 199g with the battery. Not too heavy for a torch this size!
I wish they made the green one in neutral.
