1968 Gibson SG Special & Fender Pro Jr Tweed

Amp fully cranked, no effects. Just the old SG and its tone controls. The guitar is insane. By around 2:52 into playing I started to feel like those times I rode around the outskirts of New Orleans as a young guy from East Europe, totally lost and freaked out. Watching the red dawn in the Mississippi with ghost stories in my mind from some local voodoo people, cruisin along those shotgun shacks by the levee. Couple hundred years-old oak trees with spanish moss hanging down the road, Dr. John’s Night Tripper playing on the car stereo.

How are people sitting beside this amp cranked on RUclips?! I get mine to six, no break up, and ears are already starting to ring. I just ordered a tone king attenuator so I can actually hear the tubes without blowing out my ears.

Gotta get used to it. I can sit in front of a 100 watt JMP with no attenuator, the pickups will squeal earlier before I run. I wouldn't recommend that shock-therapy though.

@@Guitar_Magicthat’s kinda stupid and not very good for your ears. Im sure itll still be cool when you damage your hearing. At least wear plugs. You only got one set of ears.
