I'm a huge Ferragamo fan, great fit. I just bought 4 pairs at the Florence flagship shop in Italy, 2 of which were drivers. I have like 7 pairs of drivers in different colors and leathers. Plus other Ferragamo sneakers and dress shoes. In the US I usually buy from Vegas shop in Caesars on my trips there. They have always treated me top notch. They even contact me from Vegas store when a sale is going on in case I want them to shop me something.
That location in Las Vegas is truly wonderful. I am hoping Ferragamo brings back the design option for loafers and drivers that will allow for custom orders.
I finally got my first pair of driving shoes. I looked at Gucci, Ferragamo and other brands and I decided to go with Ferragamo. I went with Ferragamo because they feel better made than other brands and I couldn’t stand the rubber spiky soles on some brands. Ferragamo has these beefy soles and the lining inside is just beautiful and comfortable. I just love them.
@@gelotorres my Nike sneakers are 11 and the drivers are 9.5 E. 9.5 is my true size, but I always get a size up because I swap the insoles in all my shoes. Well, I didn’t have to do that in these drivers 9.5 is just perfect.
Unfortunately the service Neiman Marcus has been slipping over the past few years and they seem to want to coast along on reputation alone. Thanks for the comment.
I'm just learning about the Ferragamo shoes for men what is the driving shoe?. I love your Pebble leather I like watching your videos because not only their entertaining but their educational that about the men shoot so I enjoy watching and I'm subscribed. Again thank you appreciate all your info. And wear them in good health.
Thanks for the video, as always. What is your verdict on the Ferragamo drivers after 1+ year of wear? Can you wear these drivers out, for example, for a full week at the office? I understand they are low-mileage outdoor shoes, but curious if they hold up well for indoor use. Thanks!
Thanks for the positive comment and question. I've have Ferragamo, Gucci, and Prada drivers. The Ferragamo are my favorite, as with all quality shoes, they shouldn't be worn more than once and then rotated with others. Wearing the same pair for multiple days in a row is a bad idea. Because of the sole design of all drivers, they're never going to wear as well as a loafer per say. They sound wear better indoors that out. I hope this answers your question.
Good morning from Thailand 😊 and Thank you so much for the good video! I just bought Ferragamo shoes from Department Store. I have few question about shoe buckle cleanliness. 1. How can we clean it or maintain its shiny? 2. Will shoe cream destroy the buckle? 3. How to avoid the cream stain after polishing? Thank you in advance for your advice.😊
Thanks for the questions. My experience with the buckles is that they are somewhat durable. When they get dirty I clean them with a damp cloth and dry them with a lint-free cloth. I have my shoes professionally hand shined & they take care to avoid getting any cream or polish on the hardware. As to how they avoid this, they are extremely careful and remove any of our comes in contact. I never have them machine polished as the buffing wheel can scratch the hardware.
Beautiful shoes! May I ask what size are you in other brands like Nike? Gucci? Prada? I am a Gucci 9G, Nike US 10 and Prada UK 8.5. If ever this will be my first Gancini Driving Shoes so am checking what my US size would be.
These are driving shoes, the YSL ones I have are loafers so it's not a direct comparison. Both have amazing craftsmanship and are extremely comfortable. Overall I would probably choose Ferragamo over any other brand.
That is a great question, thank you for asking it. I find the loafers to be more comfortable for extended periods of time than the driving shoes. Generally speaking I feel that the fit of Ferragamo, as they are available in different widths, make them extremely comfortable. As for cushioning in the footbed, I believe it's comparable with any other quality dress shoe, but in no way would I consider it padded.
They’re actually quite uncomfortable in comparison to other actual comfortable mocasines. Although you do feel like your foot is in the best shoe quality and leather, so it balances out lmao. Definitely not a cushioned sole like a sneaker (which makes sense)
These are definitely not the idea shoe for extensive waking. As for their comfort in comparison to other similar shoes, I believe that depends on the individual. I find of all the driving shoes I own, Ferragamo are by far the most comfortable out of the box and throughout the day. Thanks for the comment!
They're sold in certain high-end department stores as well as in Ferragamo boutiques. If you are not close to either, they can be ordered off of the Ferragamo website ferragamo.com. Thanks for the question.
This was an unboxing and initial review. I've owned Ferragamo drivers, among others, before and when it comes to drivers I've found it's all about the sole. For me, Ferragamo offers the perfect balance, but I will admit that Prada is a very close second. Thanks for the question!

Do the front bottom tip rub on ground?
@@samman4602 yes mine do. I believe that is case for most people that walk in loafers/drivers. I don't have a way to fix
Most drivers will wear at the toe and on the sides around the heal. They're not made for walking.

I got the same shoes for my sports car. They look cool and feel comfortable.

Yes, I find Ferragamo as a brand to be very true to size, but I would ensure that anything you purchase is able to be returned just in case.

Can these be resoled by a cobbler?
Not that I'm aware of, no. In order to resole a shoe like this it would have to be completely deconstructed.
Apparently there is this method: m.ruclips.net/video/si-ucWnNAmc/видео.html

Would you say those run true to size? Small or large?
Thanks for the question. In my experience these run very true to size especially given that they are available in multiple widths.
These vs the Saint Laurent ones?

Abd if you’re not used to these type of shoes, they will start to hurt a little after a few hours, especially if you’ve been walking or standing up

Hi I'm from Pakistan how buy in at
Hello. I'm actually not sure. You may be able to order them directly from the Ferragamo website.
Hi - sizing please? do you get a D, EE, or EEE?
Hello and thanks for the question. I wear the EEE as I have wider feet and in doing so I can wear a 9.5 comfortably.
@@luxdavidnyc3793 thanks sir. Whats your size usually on Nike?

@gelotorres sorry, I don't wear Nike, ever. I will say that Ferragamo probably runs as close to true sizing as I've ever experienced.

Are they true to size?
Ferragamo shoes typically run true to size and most are available in different widths.

Yes, brown driving shoes. They're very versatile and can be styled with a variety of outfits.
At least you've owned others from the brand but how can you really review a shoe without even taking it for a drive?
