When I say I'm a Three 6 Mafia super fan... I love them I feel like they are a part of me I've been hypnotized since I was 15 yrs old now I'm 42 & still can't get enough of them.. I am extremely happy anytime they win a award or anytime they are mentioned.. last yr I had the privilege of meeting DJ Paul maybe a couple wks after Boo passed & him and I birthday is a day apart ... I didn't realize he was that tall... Paul was a very down to earth brother & I will forever have love for the Mafia Family ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
Same here bro. I’m 42 right now been listening to Three 6 Mafia since mystic styles I had at least 95% of their albums. The only albums I didn’t have was anything that didn’t make it out of Memphis.
Couldn't stop watching this...felt like I was in the room...had me happy to hear all the success stories literally....I grew up on the 6 ...ICONS..SALUTE DJ PAUL
This is the best interview ever from Willie D. Can't wait for part 2, and Paul interviewing him also. We gotta hear that. This gonna do numbers!! Thanks OG's !!
Great interview. Willie D is very articulate and knowledgeable. Very much a " gem" dropper. And D.J. Paul is very articulated as well. Two of some of the most influential brothers that's needed nowadays.
Of all the videos, documentaries, interviews, podcasts and whatever else I've listened to over the years, this was immediately one of The Best. Thanks. Peace.
I remember working for a bowling supply company, who supplied local bowling alleys with their stock of supplies. I was working in shipping and receiving, and I remember every week a semi truck would bring a port container to our warehouse with bulk orders of bowling supplies from China. I wish I would have stayed at that company long enough to get those Chinese companies info. Those were the plugs to the bowling company I worked for. I could have bought some bulk orders and sold them cheaper to the same clients of my former employer. Willie and DJ Paul are giving business game. Soak it up people. Peace!
Thank you Willie D So much I'm not a member but I support everything u do to help us navigate threw this wild crazy world thank and Dj Paul for this interview ❤❤❤
My father (D'Army Bailey) was a civil rights activist, author, and founder of the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis,Tn. It has an interesting story and rich history behind it I would like to share with. John Amos was in Memphis to narrate a documentary on my uncle (D'army's brother) Walter Bailey. I can inform you so much on Memphis history and the city alone. If this message reaches you please contact me.
THIS IS ONE OF YOU'RE MOST PRESTIGE INTERVIEWS WILLIE D. WELL DESERVED. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS INTERVIEW. STAY SAFE AND BLESSED BEAUTIFUL FAMILIES 🌹🙏🤗💕🫂
No the show wasn't funny to me. We love when they show us as "Always Broke". And acting " Stupid". Look Tyler Perry most of his movies. Are always struggling about or for something. Smh have self respect about life
@@Sharow.1 that's your opinion. Just because it's my favorite show it doesn't mean you have to like it. Everyone has a right to their opinion. It's a show that was made for entertainment not to be taken personally. Relax. Enjoy life.
@mariecarter3479 Don't bother arguing with them. They are way too sensitive. Sensitivity is killing each everything today. We can't have any real comedy today. Sanford & Son was great. I gotta agree with Willie D though. Archie Bunker was a damn fool 😂. I watch the old reruns all the time. Remember the Jeffersons got started on All in the Family? Archie and George hated each other 😂 Lionel used to make fun of Archie to his face, but he was too dumb to understand it. Carroll O'Connor surprised me with his versatility when he was Sherriff Gillespie on In the Heat of the Night. Totally different character. Anyway, the old stuff will always the best. Today's stuff is mostly nonsense. S&S, Good Times, All in the Family,....always will be the best. There's an old British comedy called Are You Being Served? If you've never seen it, look it up on here. It's hilarious.
I am so happy to see this interview. I lovvvveeeee me some Hypnotize Minds. I grew up on their music & still play it daily. I will never get tired of their music. I'm so proud of them. I feel like they're my family. They are so talented its crazy. I love how Paul used to take horror movie theme songs & turn them into fire beats. They are greatness. True legends.
yep, same here, Mystic Stylez came out when I was in 10th grade here in Nashville and I have every album that ever came out on Prophet and Hypnotized, saw Three-6 live 3 times at The Mix Factory and once at 328 Performance Hall, Gangsta Boo solo show at some hole in the wall club on Clarksville Pk. and Tear Tha Club Up Thugz at The Mix Factory. Hung out and smoked with Project Pat twice and met them all a few times. This was all within a 4 or 5 year span like 96 - 01 oh and Project Pat show at Exit In but that was like 5 years ago
Honestly I skipped passed this interview once or twice. But after I watched it. I loved it. Great positive non drama cool interview!!!! Ready to see the DJ Paul interview Willie D now! 🔥

Great interview with Paul and the Wallstreet Trapper in the other interview! I can relate to the part where Paul mentioned making loops of instrumentals and rapping over them. I remember doing that back in 1988, 89. 💯
7:10 sgp SoundCloud movement ripple effect like 15 years later lol. I listen to $b in 2018 and the samples got me on T6M and other artist but my pops also had the ceedees from the 2000s so I was familiar. Everyone got earbuds in today and don't exp a fantastic sound as well.
