- The answer to whether your hips bump or turn is that they do both. How they do this is important for your swing balance and power. In this video you'll find checkpoints to ensure you move your hips correctly both in the backswing and downswing.

Great video Peter, very well explained
Thanks 👍
Another ripper Peter, looking forward to another lesson soon! Just played barnbougle without embarrassment thanks to you!
Thanks John. Barnbougle is a fantastic course.
Great video Peter , very interesting as usual . ⛳️🏌️♀️⛳️⛳️
I am one of those who use their arms too much and this video is so helpful. I have seen where there is a "squatting" motion... I don't think I see that in your swing. Do you think it Is necessary or is there such a thing? Your swing motion looks so nice and easy.
Thank you for the comments. Applying pressure to the ground is essential, but doesn’t necessarily require a big squatting motion.
Exactly what I need !
Excellent video. This is exactly what I am working on at the moment.
Hi Peter: my particular bottled downswing is simply to start kicking my trail knee pointing straight at my target line at the end of my swing. I swear every thing else follows at a blink of an eye for my classic balance pose at the end of my swing. Cheers
Sounds like you’ve got your body, arms and club moving in the right order. Great job Thomas.
@@PeterKnightGolf this spring I want to make a movie of it; because the whole thing seems unreal to me. As i have never experienced an absolute perfect repeatable swing until now. And I wish I was in a good position to have many more amateurs try it for themselves and see what they think. Cheers
Good video Peter! I was becoming too "handsy" with my swing. So, I am now trying to lessen their role. I am now concentrating more on the arms, wrists, and shoulders. My thought is that the hips will take care of themselves with the back and through movement. It's still a "work in progress" however!
I'm one of the better golfers I know of and I do everything Peter says.
Thanks John.
