Apparently scavenger was supposed to be a commander class which would fix the proportion issues, but would boost the cost by a ton

I know they won’t do this but they can still make a commander demolisher! It would be accurately sized to his scene and would be the white colors
If i remember correctly, listening to an interview the crew at WTF@TFW were talking about one of the designers had mentioned how Scavenger or Overload (i cant remember which) was initially going to be Commander class to make Devestator huge, but due to price cuts and budget reasons, they went with two leaders instead.
Really great review, hopefully ill get the two torso bots soon.
I'm pretty sure scavenger was gonna be commander class cus scavenger was bigger in the film so it would make more sense
so devastator was gonna originally have twig arms

Got this figure, I have issues. His shoulder flaps dont lock in and that's annoying with how loose they are. The biceps should be white, not grey. His biceps are way too skinny. He's still fantastic! Also I wish the right arm transformed more, it looks like it's just a digger changed slightly. Not great.

Issue is that they had to make what needed to be Leaders, Voyagers. Like MixMaster, his cement-mixer mode really shouldn’t be as big as a Camaro. And it doesn’t scale in Bot mode either because Construction Vehicles are damn big.
I guess that’s a budget issue. Can’t make it the “proper” scale because it would cost a damn ton.
Others have said that one of the two Leader class figures was supposed to have been a Commander class.
They’d all have to be leaders or commanders to be accurately scaled 😂

I think that the scale on Devastator is about right. People tend to think that he was huge because it dwarfed Skids and Mudflap and because he was so in the game, but it only looked that way because the twins were really small.
Yeah they’re only like 11ft tall.
Have hasbro released studio series skids and mudflap yet because I'd love to see how they scale with prime and devastator

The original devastator I think got the mouth movement right and I’m actually working on collecting all the parts for him, and then custom painting them to look all dirty and gross.

We already know what we are getting with this set just look on the back of the box
Thankfully the aftermarket for the individual parts have stayed consistent and may have been reduced by 30 USD even though the video likely refers to CAD

got this guy last month as a "non-official" Studio Series Version but with Die-Cast Pieces and a few additional functions
The left arm looks wonky but other than that it's decent
Skipjack and Rampage are basically the same mold and design, but different color's

I think the movie Devastater is more intimidating because the g1 one looks like a green guy who has construction vehicles on him, while the movie one looks like a hellspawn that happens to be made of construction vehicles
Why did the individual Constructicons don't have as much detail as the box set that's so stupid ass bro I would know cuz I have the solo Mixmaster and I can't afford the box set

For $100 more you can get a combuner from Zeta. With better materials, better paint, better QC much better looking product. Nit to mention bigger. I would nit say thisnis worth it
