- In this video I wanted to ask if are we going to be giving up on the cinematic handheld camera movement that has been used for generations prior to the evolution of gimbals?
For a long time now I have been seeing peoples creations (mostly music videos) that are entirely filmed on a gimbal and I'm left wondering why.
Gimbals are definitely amazing pieces of gear that can do incredible things but is it taking us away from the staple of handheld footage?
I personally believe they work best when used together!

Have you tested out the 16Bit ProRes RAW yet? I'm really interested to see how you feel that grades over the 10bit 422 internal - if you wouldn't mind making a video on that one day

@@KyleWhiteTV S1h S1 Z9 S5ii Z6ii in decreasing orders ( OM1 Gh6 Xh2s have very good ibis too but they are not FF) And what u said about weight is correct, the heavier the cameras, the smoother the hand movement. Ironically most so called video shooters prefer light weight setups
Yeah I’ve actually seen the GH6 in action. It’s pretty crazy. Ever since the GH5 it’s been next level.
