Intellectual Property is a huge part of what artists and artisans need to have absolute control of in order to preserve the integrity of their creations.
Vizcom is a true blessing! Great work! For a long time I asked myself, what if I could focus on my passion for sketching/creating and save time without spending time on modeling to much and not having to outsource that part.
10:00 I wholeheartedly agree with this guy. I’m doing something similar in the video creation space. It’s all about acceleration, not end to end automation
Bravo 👏 🙌 Jordan!!! I celebrate yours and Vizcom’ success! I am an ID myself, looking forward to Vizcom becoming a world-wide Industry best practice standard! Would love to invest if possible, also, buying stocks the minute it goes IPO!
This interview felt gross. I kept feeling like this guy was trying to give up the goose. How does it work so someone else can try to beat you to market.
The interviewer made me feel like he was trying to learn how the soup was made so he could tell the person who sent him. Those people steal his intellectual property. Im not saying it’s what happened, it just came off that way. Its how it made “me” feel.
@@Made_SoWell no, that's not what's happening here. If you want to steal his idea you can just go to his site lol, stop feeling and start thinking bro.
@@Made_SoWell still feeling and not thinking and making more poor assumptions. You do you bro, feel not think all you want. The people who think can actually change the world for the better, rather than react to it with delusions.
Very good post and informative in many ways. To go much deeper into this topic, check this out. This book, "Etymology Of Compendiums Of All Gods and the Almighty Creator" by Samuel K. Anderson is a Non-fiction book full of Anthropological,Archeological, Linguistic, Mathematical, Scientific, and Morden-Day Descendants Evidences of the Origin of Everything in our universe, galaxies, and intergalactic realms.
5:30 Artists won't use this. Non-artists who hate the idea of paying artists (because they don't value us as human beings) will use this. They will ultimately steal art from artists to input into the machine. Which will and has caused conflict and will result in legal action making the whole business model non-viable. Never sell out. Make art with your hands and pay artists.
People like me want to create games, but morons like you charge hundreds and thousands of dollars for getting stuff done.. for a person who resorts to game making after loosing a job, or in other dire conditions, it is a blessing for people like us.. even if I have no money for making a movie, but I have many ideas, then it will help us a great deal.. so no matter how much you sob, people like him will continue to innovate to help people like us..
Speak for yourself- A party of one. You don't speak for all artists with this doom and gloom chatter. I look forward to seeing what's possible. Not something pessimistic. Wishing you positive vibes.
I think I know where you're coming from, but it also helps to look at things more positively too. Change has been constant throughout history, and more so since the industrial revolution. That's why you're here on this platform, which for example enables people like you to showcase their work, collaborate etc. And people being very strongly anti-change has also been a constant. I personally feel like my livelihood is threatened because I develop software and AI is getting better at it every day. But people who embrace new technologies become more efficient, move into higher order functions of whatever they were doing (e.g are able to focus more on the creativity) and become more valuable. In my case, coders who fully embrace AI will take software jobs (from those who don't) for years, before AI can do everything itself. Consider seriously trying out a lot of different AI tools before criticizing them. You might be pleasantly surprised, regarding how they end up benefiting you. There's also typically a section of the market that cares about the output of humans that aren't machine-aided (e.g hand-crafted art/craft and other products e.g postcards, food, track athletes etc). The market size/number of jobs varies though -- in some cases it eventually shrinks to zero. People also create communities where they can somewhat thrive while isolating themselves from the change they don't like. It's tough though.
As one who has supported/worked w/ artists and still do, I believe this is a moment where deeper collaborations can take place. I think one of the points being made is that a client may not want to wait for a canvas rendering of image x. Just like he took art and design to a job working in automotive/at NVIDIA, I think artists can take their skill sets and be an artist and help companies w/ better renderings as they handle the engineering end of the process. As an artist, I'd want to be able to walk into a room and take some of my sketches and show how I could bring them to life in moments. His comment about what is NOT going to change -- TASTE -- is very point. Going from car design to NVIDIA, taste us what got him there.
So you had the idea inside a company due to the unique exposure and you left to do it on your own... Nvidia could own your company based on that quote @5:40...
1. Why not showcase the app? 2. This is literally Canny open source plugin with nice UI. 3. You guys need to start really doing research vs tokenizing, Literally.
@hendriksprikdesign In business you get things that are good, fast, or cheap. At best, you'd only get 2 out 3. 1) Good + Fast = It's not going to be Cheap. 2) Good + Cheap = It's not going to be Fast. AI will make ALL Good and Fast workers Cheap. Everyone else will be out of work.
Impressive young man! And there are millions more like him all around us. Thanks for giving him a platform to showcase his talent!
thank you for the representation, we are here. we are building!

technically its something creatives & developers automatically transfer to their employer anytime something is created as condition of their contracts
I love the joy that overcame him when he was asked what his dream car is.
Awesome video but would have been better with visuals of the product.

Proud of you!! Keep going ❤️
it would have been nice to get a visual of what he does
The tool he created is free to use! just google, 'Vizcom' or look up a video on it!
It looks like a pretty slick, intuitive tool to leverage imageTo3d for design brainstorming. Nice.
Very well articulated, inspirational and all-round impressive!

These mfs really did all that interview without any visuals
Their ideas can be nipped if they showed even a snippet of visuals.
Why did you not show his tool in between? That's weird editing choice
in a time that people have a poor attention span.
Any Blender artists watching this?
