We'll see how effective this is. One of the largest problems with these phone replacements is that they are never more convenient and useful than just...using a phone
I would like to know what the privacy issue will be like. If I use these glasses, I will only be increasing Google's database, so it is better for Google to pay me to use them, rather than spending my money to buy them. We also need to know about the types of ads they will place and/or types of suggestions.
This is exactly what I think! Google should pay us for it. Or if we have to buy the product in the beginning, we will get access to all google services that require premium access or subscription that these glasses require to function.
i feel they should only target making one for work or studies like a glasses which can see what we are doing and assist with everything from doubts to better ways and with a built in gemini
AI + AR glasses have godly potential, but they also pose significant security risks. This is why developing a robust and perfect security system must precede the deployment of fully functional AI-powered AR glasses. If we bypass this step and rush into mass adoption, it could lead to catastrophic misuse, privacy breaches, and societal chaos. Such failures could erode public trust in technology, creating a widespread backlash. This, in turn, could stifle innovation and leave humanity stuck in a technological limbo, unable to harness the true potential of science and technology.
You say, "imagine going to a city in which you do not know where anything is," but that will ultimately be your own city. Just as drivers simply follow GPS instructions in a car without having to actually build up an understanding of the layout of frequently visited areas, and even losing what understanding they once had, so now it will happen on foot. Every bit of technology has a poison side as well as a medicinal side, even if the poison is simply dependence. I honestly wonder, once these assistants become good enough, will a dementia patient be able to live as a normal person simply by wearing them and following instructions? How wonderful that would be. But then, will normal people who use them slowly atrophy into a state equivalent to that of a dementia patient?
I live in Japan and while most things I’m comfortable with ,more difficult Japanese is a problem (tax accountants, some doctors etc) these would be great and I’d definitely buy them if they work well.
So, it doesn't do anything more than a smartphone does and I lose the privacy and convenience of texting, paying with phone, making pictures and the most important, not wearing glasses. Other than that any place where I can't use my phone I certainly can't wear these classes. I have so many questions, like: how loud will the speaker scream, so i can hear on the streets. How bright will the screen be so i can see outside? If it can't replace phones, I think this is going to be like the smart watches, just another gadget everyone can live without.
i have had meta ray bans xl transitions since the summer. got same pair for my brother for xmas. i am a zucc and meta guy. same age. zucc will always be smoking meats imo 🤖📈🏄♂️🇺🇸
I was just giving them back on some other channel today because they dropped Google glass just as AI was coming out, which I sent it to time do they announced the project was closing down.
I was just using ChatGPT to try to develop a concept for a AI to AI communications protocol. We need something quicker that can be both secure when you have the bandwidth, but I also take into account the environment you’re in and what you’re trying to accomplish and make a appropriate decision when to Transmit nonsecure in a low bandwidth environment. Well, where are you currently at and what are you talking about versus the potential hazards of the information being intercepted, and then assign an appropriate method of transmission to include error, correction and encryption turn clued quantum in corruption. That may be the first thing that happens where it Negotiate between the two AI’s before it sends the actual data at the beginning of a transaction. Something that anyone from DOD in a war zone to you just ordering a pizza but it’s smart enough to decide at the beginning.
I’ve been yelling at Apple almost every day for the last couple years, and I finally decided to Contact support myself since apparently none of them look at the Internet : ). We need voice dictation to work correctly
You’re not even trying unless you’re doing a two-way communication system through the brain bypassing your other senses. Let’s get with the program and stop making all these intermediate steps : )
Putting tech with an explosive battery next to your eyes - I cant see anything going wrong. Whoops, my eyes just melted so yep, I cant anything at all !
Right. Adding android will help. Battery life of a mosquito. Tethered is impractical and wireless will surely cause cancer if your phone doesn’t do enough damage. Yes. I still want one.
Does no one notice how blatantly they’ve ripped off from Apple here? From the video presentation to the way they’re describing how the “headset” is for watching movies and having immersive experiences and the “glasses” are for getting around and augmenting your reality. And the “headset” they showed looks EXACTLY like the Apple Vision Pro! Even the UI and the ability to watch something in a virtual theater. This is basically the keynote that Apple is going to do in the next year or two, except this one is for Android fanboys who are supposed to hate Apple, yet Google are basically giving them Apple products. Yes Apple is always running behind, but they end up gaining the larger market share in each tech category they compete in.
Is Project Moohan video passthrough or like the glasses with a HUD? Because passthrough isn't ideal due to the latency. I don't want to view the world through passthrough. Just make a good HUD
these guys sell you what they want their product to be in 6 yrs not what it is now, so be mindful of that. I self host an ai model 7bn parameters on a lenovo computer that seems to be better at reasoning that gemini, alibabas qwen coder 7b.so 1:40 made me burst in laughter
They should just call them "googles".
Dang it's good and funny lol
Googlasses
I’ll believe it when I actually see a real and non-biased person use it.
Maybe now is the time, they have been working on this for before Google glass
Why don't you use Gemini 2.0 by yourself?
Or do you like paying $200 for basic agents that people have been building for an entire year now. 😂😂
remember that casey guy on the subway with the last google headset, they couldnt even sell half of them
We'll see how effective this is. One of the largest problems with these phone replacements is that they are never more convenient and useful than just...using a phone
I live in South Korea and I speak very little Korean, I need this now!

Imagine reviewing private, confidential documents, going to the bathroom, etc. and forgetting you have the glasses on. 🤔

*Where did i leave my level*.... That is the most useful feature hands down
I'm really stoked that I can walk around now talking to myself and not be viewed as crazy 🤓
Just wear a pair of AirPods or Samsung/Google equivalent, people won’t know the difference
This is the "mark of the beast" we will all get on our foreheads and in our hand... Looking good.
Do you know any Channels in RUclips or Telegram that exposes AI and the antichrist agenda ?

Losing access would then be a handicap, at the whim of the big brother.
Could you please add other subtitle languages for mobile?

The headset is a none starter as Apple demonstrated, the glasses are probably 2 years away but are amazing!

It makes much more sense to launch them this way rather than using an image of a guy in the shower yelling at the camera. Smart move, Google.

I should be able to wear Jordy’s visor from Star Trek but not just for my eyes but all of my senses
I’d rather have my phone grabbed from my hand than lose my pricey AI glasses off my face in a sketchy area.
Putting tech with an explosive battery next to your eyes - I cant see anything going wrong. Whoops, my eyes just melted so yep, I cant anything at all !
Android XR is stunningly good.
Right. Adding android will help. Battery life of a mosquito. Tethered is impractical and wireless will surely cause cancer if your phone doesn’t do enough damage. Yes. I still want one.
Where did I put my level. I need this part of AI LOL
When they can make work gogles like this then so many productivity gains can be produced.

Google will have a full scan of your house as Data XD
vr glasses + starlink
Shut up and take my money.
These will be the product of the decade, in whichever decade they become possible to make acceptably fashionable.

WE FINALLY GET GOOGLE GLASS
Except maps, mail, drive and search rest is not useless but trivial.
They should call them GG's (Google glass)
Who is freddy and what is a grand slam?!
GlassHoles 2 Electric Boogaloo
They should call it Google Glass! Oh- whoops, that name appears to already be trademarked by...let me see here...GOOGLE!? Uh oh!
Yeah, how often it'll need to be charged...
How much are these going to cost, $1,500-2,000?
these guys sell you what they want their product to be in 6 yrs not what it is now, so be mindful of that. I self host an ai model 7bn parameters on a lenovo computer that seems to be better at reasoning that gemini, alibabas qwen coder 7b.so 1:40 made me burst in laughter
Hey, how does my AJ look against that flop and what hands in this $1M dollar pot could my opponents have that could beat my hand?
So can we cheat in exams with this?
This is literally just marketing!
Just use your phone don't need to put on a stupid pair of glasses
They lost me at: "Do they have vegan options?" I know vegan is all marketing and listening to that is like listening to a story made for kids.
I wonder how many animals are sacrificed each year just in the transportation phase of vegan products across the world. Be it land, air or sea.
