Really nice video. I’ve never seen one of your videos before Scott. Liked and subscribed. Love your no nonsense approach. A+ on discussing adding dynamics to your playing. The missing element in so much of making music exciting!
Wow - thanks for the positive feedback, Barry! And thanks a million for the like and subscribe - really means a lot and helps the channel immensely. Cheers, Scott.
You’re an awesome bass player Scott and your bass playing with big country was phenomenal, really did the bass lines justice and also put your own stamp on them. I’d love to see some big country bass line tutorials 🤟
Thanks again so much!! Good call - don't think there are many BC bass tutorials out there. I know Tony did some towards the end of his vlogs but that's about it.
I've clicked the link for the tabs for this lesson and it goes to an error page, had the same problem with one of your other lessons. If my brain could remember things I wouldn't need the tab, but sometimes seeing it helps.
Why is it that musicians seem to be a dying breed? Maybe too much short-cutting with lazy sampling on ‘hey I can make a tune’ software. It’ll never replace this knowledge of music theory and the ability to actually play an instrument. If it wasn’t for channels like this on RUclips (and my own personal music collection) I don’t know where I’d get my fix. Cheers Scott 👍🏼
I clicked to get the tabs for this lesson and was forced to subscribe. Then nothing. Seems a bit dishonest. Shouldn't advertise free tabs and then pull some nonsense like that. Deceptive.
Sincere apologies. Please send me an email to scott@scott-whitley.com so I can manually send that out. I can assure you there's absolutely no intention to deceive anyone, Terry.
Great lesson as usual..thanks Scott 👍

@@ScottWhitley As a BC fan, the technicality of allot of the bass lines has always fascinated me, especially ‘Look Away’.
number 4 is cool.
Cheers, Neil!

We miss your videos hope you are doing ok Scott, stay strong brother
on the 3rd turnaround 2nd bar you say the 5 chord but you meant 4 chord which would be C, right? just a beginner and want to be sure.)
