I was waiting the ENTIRE episode for a "wtf happened to the floor??" Joke. It was THE PERFECT situation for it. Missed chance right there, but still an amazing episode like usual
I love Pokémon Talk, for a myriad of reasons. But one of the best things this series excels at is clever writing, and wow does this episode have a lot of that in it. Heaps of set up and pay off, rib-busting jokes, smart ways of breaking the forth wall and playing with viewer expectations (aka everything involving the clickbaiting haha), and continuing to create charming characters with likeable personalities that feel like actual people (uh... Pokémon?) than just flat parodies of what they're based off of. Plus, this episode even wraps everything in the last season, and other seasons before it, up nicely (even explaining things I didn't know I needed explaining, like Squirtle's voice change, but even that was executed cleverly), AND even gives a clever post credit scene! Anyway main point if this comment is, Michael, love you, your channel, and this series (been a fan since your first Nuzlocke) and I'm so happy to see a new Pokémon talk episode show up in my notifications every month, because I know you always put a lot of passion and creativity into each and every one. Sorry for the EXTREMELY long ramble, hope the rest of 2019 is the best it can possibly be for you Michael 😁
