- Back for another great round of racing at the Piedmont Dragway, the Southeast Gassers put on an amazing event. The conditions were hot, but not as hot as the racing on the track. Just watch what happens to the 3 way tie for first place in A\Gas.

@@ryandavis930 ain't that the truth The weather man messes us up all the time. If he's calling for rain the bleachers are empty as it was at Piedmont but it didn't rain a drop. It cost me the same to put the race on if one person is in the bleachers or 5,000.

Is it "all run" in each category (A/G. B/G etc.) ? How ever many show up, they all run ?
Yes Ed all run up to 32 cars then it will be the top 32 qualifiers. Anything over 16 takes 5 rounds so it's really rough on the racers to make that many rounds plus the 2 rounds of qualifying. With anything over 32 cars it would take 6 rounds and that's just too many rounds to be fair to the racers so if it ever happens we will cut them off at 32.
No! You have to qualify. Six or eight cars closest to the record for that class.

The insanely annoying announcer makes these programs pretty much unwatchable. We like to hear the cars once in a while not your mouth running constantly. The cars are the stars of the show, not you. This isn't golf. There's actually something going on. You don't need to provide content noise to make sure the audience doesn't go to sleep.
