the reason you don't see max in the background in the good ending is because you are facing max instead of running away, so max is in front of you instead of behind
I already know also when the nugget talk in good ending he is not unsad but happy while the bad one the nugget talk normal

I like silly billy but this I honestly hits kinda harder
the reason i really liked the bad ending is because when max stops singing and its the nuggets turn maxs shadow will be behind the nugget and mimic him in which he'll go back to not moving not even having an idle animation
its pretty eerie given the black background and red color as a way to visualize it
it would be cool on the good ending max would be going the other way than the nugget instead of not appearing

story: a demon got into max and he wants to get involved with nugget so nugget finds max and nugget asks him what's wrong but max uses his demonic side and starts singing with nugget, after a while nugget breaks the fourth wall and asks us for help and here there are 2 endings, if we don't give him help a cinematic will begin where max tells Nugget the following: after all the wasted years, I need to taste your FEAR, I need to taste your BLOOD, now we can be one. everything I ever wanted, just one bite and I'm done, there's no need to beg and bargain, because all I need is YOU, after that Max picks up Nugget and throws him into the sky, he becomes giant and Max eats him. Nugget, but upon realizing what he was doing, he spits at Nugget and Nugget starts to run away from Max, but Max catches up with him.
In the end Max eats it without caring about anything and crying says: ALL I NEED IS YOU,
and if in the end we give help to nugget to nugget
he will get a cowboy hat and the same thing happens except that when max eats nugget max spits out nugget because leather hats as well as cowboy hats are not edible so nugget instead of running away stays to face max because he cowboy hat inspires him with courage so he manages to get the demon out of max
