  • What Nobody Tells You About Living in Alpharetta, GA!
Alpharetta is without a doubt one of the most popular North Metro Atlanta suburbs, and for good reason. It has great shopping, great schools, great parks, and more! It also has its downsides, and high home prices are one of those.
People who live in Alpharetta love it and have for a long time. It has often been awarded various “best places to call home” awards and if you look on the city’s website, they list 41 such awards within the past 7 years alone. That is incredible!
Here's some that stand out: In 2022, the lifestyle website niche.com name Alpharetta The #1 Best Suburb to Live in in Georgia, also in 2022, Southern Living Magazine named it One of the South’s Best Cities on the Rise. In 2021, Newsweek ranked Alpharetta the 20th Best Place to Live on the East Coast, and it beat out neighboring Suwanee, Roswell, Johns Creek, and Milton who were ranked lower on the list. In 2019, Verizon did a study and came up with a list of the 50 best cities to start a small business in and Alpharetta snagged a spot as the 15th best city, and was the only city in Georgia to make the list!
So, why is Alpharetta so popular? What are the potential cons you should be aware of? Let’s take a look.

What places would you recommend for an Indian to buy their house in?

Thanks for asking! I never like to steer anyone to one exact location, but since you asked, I would say Cumming, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, and Suwanee. There are larger pockets of Indian communities in those cities. Let me know if you have any other questions or need representation in your home search!

@@TimTrevathanAtlanta what would you recommend between grayson and dacula

@@rheajadhav2548 I need a bit more context of what you're looking for. How far of a commute time are you willing to go? Are you looking for the best schools? Do you want to be near more shopping and dining? Is closer to downtown/airport more important to you?

@@TimTrevathanAtlanta sure.. I am looking for a house which is in a safe city and has a decent Indian crowd. I dont have children so school district isnt a priority but do plan to sell the house in like 5-6 years as the plan is not to settle down here so maybe the school district would matter then. Would love good food joints which are closer.

@@rheajadhav2548 Both are great options. I pick Dacula over Grayson for Millcreek High School district and how much the city is growing in and around it. There will definitely be a bigger Indian population in Dacula simply because of how small Grayson is in population and size.
