the cheap looking setup can definitely cost $5k easily if you include everything, pc, screens and accessories to the cost. With 25% tax they have in Denmark. Pc was probably bought at too high of a price, and screens maybe werent that cheap either.

imo i think that ultra wide monitors are slept on. although there are plenty of advanteges of tripple screens i think the monitors look so good. also i was aparc of the ocss race today! super fun

Currently trying to build the best sim racing rig that i can with a fairly low budget and fairly little space (im 15 and live in a mobile home/trailer and can only really use money i earn myself). So far (over the course of about 3 months of facebook marketplace searching) ive been able to buy a mint thrustmaster t248 complete with the pedals and a wheelstand for 120$, a generic ebay handbrake and shifter for 40$, and im planning to sell the t248/pedals (and maybe make some profit) because i was able to buy a set of in-box thrustmaster t-lcm pedals for 100$, AND A FANATEC CLUBSPORT V2.5 BASE WITH THE CLUBSPORT FORMULA WHEEL V2 FOR ONLY ANOTHER 100$! Im overall very proud of what ive been able to do with the budget i have, and if i manage to sell the t248 for about 200-250, i will have esentially gotten an amazing rig for 120-160 dollars Edit: i also bought my 34 inch 2560/1080p 200hz ultrawide monitor for 60$ (it has a very small area of scratching that you cant notice when turned on), and my pc (gtx 1070ti/i7-7800k) for 250$
Oscar said that it will be used by professional Finnish racecar drivers to practice on. I know this might blow your mind, but it's not exactly cheap to have multiple practice days. The costs to run the REAL TRACK CAR costs significantly more than the sim itself. Hell, even Formula 1 teams use sims just like this for practice.
@@Gw_Vr if you can’t spend that much i recommend staying with your g29 until you can otherwise the difference will be too small, you can get a fanatec bundle for 500-600 with loadcell pedal and 8nm csl dd and a wheel
