Can you do more videos for those of us with severe to profound hearing loss suggestions for . Listening in more complex situations like phone and I’m crowded places. I just started school and the teacher is trying his best to meet my needs .

Dr C... I have been using hearing aids for the past 7 years, first starting with my right ear which has tinnitus for 2 years then going with both ears 5 years ago. In the past 7 months I have been having significant issues with background noise. Since the microsphones in my 3 year old Phonak aids are behind the ear, would it make more sense to use ITC aids? I bought my current at Cosco 3 years ago and when I asked about whether or not advanced technology in the last 3 years could help the answer was NO. I find that hard to believe.
I have watched many of your videos and appreciate the amount and level of info that you share.

Hi Doc, I watch your videos regularly. Thank you for that. I have been a hearing aid user since 2000. Now I am gonna get a new pair with latest technology and Bluetooth. I have a question. When using Bluetooth in the hearing aids it just works with normal earbuds or all those enhancements on the hearing aid work to improve the quality of calls and music. Thank you once again.

Yep, I need the pure power of the XCeed Ultra. It's a pain that I can't use it with my Android phone without the connectclip, but for VRS, 95% of the time I use an iPad, so take advantage of it for most of my telephonic use anyway.

No other standard power BTE can touch the available gain without feedback from 2k-4k. Tubing impact from standard BTE’s drastically reduce available gain/output above 1700Hz.

I find it crazy that a 5 year old BTE Oticon Xceed cost more than BTE Phonak Lumity today!😵💫 Outdated technology at this point should be priced lower.
