    • @SailingWood
      @SailingWood  2 месяца назад

      Hi Alastair, Yes, I am starting to get fed up with the reliability of GoPro’s, I have actually had 4 because the GoPro 9 that I have now and which only starts up when it feels like it ( so it’s definitely not an ‘action’ camera 😁) was a replacement for an 8 that broke within 12 months. I am very seriously thinking of moving over to Insta. In desperation, I tried buying a second hand 8 on Facebook marketplace but the seller was a thief and just walked off with my £150!

      Hi Jeremy, sorry we missed you, Cart (the canal and river trust) were keen to get rid of us to make more room for boats featuring in the tall ships festival, the turnips had also neglected an important lifting bridge until it finally broke and we were encouraged to get through it as soon as they fixed it, in case it broke again! But we will be back, we have a programme of winter works for T Nielsen & Co, stuff we didn’t have time for before we left and of course all the things we are going to break during the summer!✌️

    Hi there!!
    So nice seeing da ship, out on da water!
    As for your graceful dinghy, I have a Finn dinghy, and on its tiller I have an extension, that allows me sitting sort of midships and balance the boat . Also, on my seven meter wooden double ender, I have an tiller extension, which could be quite long, since it have two alu pipes, one smaller. So I can by turning the cork ball it locks any lenght I choose. Use it every time I am on the waves....
    Anyway, hope you are relaxing and enjoying the fruit of your hard work!!
    Just an idea,allda bestest from mikke in sweden...;-D

    No apologies, needed. 9 out of 10 people have no idea what the process is to refit a vessel period, let alone of this traditional magnitude.
    Add to that the pain in the ass internet technology that TAKES SO MUCH TIME. And is so frustrating. So pleased to see water all around you. Pour a glass or 3 or scoff down my favourite 4 Yorkshire pints Bitter, and go to bed. Regards Billy
