💃💃 This makes me so HAPPY!! I can't wait to see what you and Aaron have in store for us this year. I watch you guys every day and wonder what you will bring us that day. You never disappoint me.

It never ceases to amaze me how much space you have over there in the U.S. The huge machinery that can just toddle down your lane and through your garden, ripping up stuff and putting it all back together again like it was nothing at all. I’d love it! Our little island is so tiny in comparison (UK) I think my garden is smaller than your one barn! I love, love, love my daily Garden Answer fix and you have inspired me to do so much with my tiny patch. Thank you Laura (and Aaron of course) 😊🥰

Most people do not have this much acreage. The average lot size for a house here is probably around 1/4 acre. Some have more, some have less.

That's true. Depending on your location. I only have less than a 1/4 acre 😢

Yes, my northern Arizona property is 5,000 sq ft lot with 1,200 sq ft house so sometimes I can barely swing a cat 🐈 😻 ❤ with my projects/dreams. 😂

This is especially true since they are in the suburbs. Most of those rarely go above 2 acres (and that is huge for most), in most of the country. Which is why most of American houses have larger rooms than in the U.K. Those of us out in the country, however, can have far more land.

their property is largely possible because it was outside of the original town founded in that area - over time the landowners sold off sections and they turned into housing developments annexed to grow the town but the original farm house once had 1000 acres - so well outside of town.

They should have academy awards for the best YT channel, Garden Answer would win in a heartbeat! I could go on and on about the realness, the content, the filming quality, the knowledge sharing, the humour, and the list goes on. As each video is coming to its end, I am saying, noooooo. Thank you Aaron and Laura for all the enjoyment you bring. Edmonton AB, zone 3

Wow! Now that was a proper tree removal. Makes me mad about the people my grandpa hired. 5 trees to be cut, took them over 3 weeks to do it, they left most of the mess and didn't grind the stumps properly! These people in your video did amazing.

I love how they have, or can find, professional people to come in and work hard and fast to get things done. And... cleaned up. There are absolutely zero people like that around where I live. You're lucky if they call you back, or show up, or come back, or finish the job, or do it correctly, or not stolen something in the process, or not over-charged ($250 for just showing up, before the hourly rate or job quote kicks in!), and not once has anyone ever cleaned up afterwards! It's the worst!

This is the best kind of project to watch, imo! Lots of action and scenery. I kept thinking that since you are going to take the pear tree out of the planter, just take it out before you move the planter. You could improvise some kind of a platform or scaffolding to be able to stand high enough to dig the tree out. You may have to sacrifice, then repair/rebuild, the planter in order to protect the tree. It's worth it! By the time you read this, you may already have it done.

Always inspiring us! Whether it’s taking out old unattractive (and potentially dangerous) trees to relocating trees & features to make your plans and visions come to life… you are both innovative and thoughtful in your approach. For the back of the barn “Gator parking,” perhaps consider having the overhang mirror the roofline of the barn (vice straight across & angled outward from the barn) with some great beefy posts at the corners. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store this year!

Wonderful seeing the trees removed. Excited to see the new property evolve. Your so great at planing the area. Maybe Benjamin will have a go-cart path. Lol.

I love the stump moving and placement! I love roaming the woods for beautiful old stumps and some with roots attached are beautiful for landscaping! Love your channel 😊

So nice that you found a company that can both cut down the tree and do the stump grinding! I had to get two different companies, one to cut down and remove the trees and another to do the stump grinding.

Laura, you looked like Boudicea riding into battle on the tractor! (That is a compliment - Boudicea was a British Queen circa AD 60 known for her bravery and valour). You go, girl. 🇬🇧

I have heard the word 'boudiceas' several times in my life. As in she looks boudiceas. Didn't know the history of the British queen until I saw 'Hyacinth Bucket' attend a masquerade ball as Queen Boudicea. I'm from south central Illinois. We are surrounded by farm fields and many tractors.

Laura, I love how you have 'embraced the stump'. I remember your reaction to the guys' plan to put stumps in the pond area. :D I can hardly WAIT to see what happens this year in your world.

Looks like pear box could be lifted section by section off the pear then rootball could be rolled into a tarp. Pears are pretty strong rooters so it's probably rooted right into the ground beneath. 😮

Laura &Aaron I 100% understand the desire to close in the property!! I have lived in my 100 year old Craftsman home for 40 years with no desire to leave it or my gardens but my home is in the city and my neighbors are terrors!! I wish I had the opportunity to close myself in with the beauty of trees, pines but due to power lines and property lines in a city area I am unable to. We are not even allowed privacy fencing over 6 foot to go past our homes leading to the front sidewalk area ! So please enjoy your beautiful haven for those of us who can’t it’s just perfect and as things grow in fabulous!!!🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲

Can’t terrible neighbors just make your life miserable? I’m sorry you have to live with that, but I’m happy for your beautiful home.

WOW! What a busy day. Love watching you & Aaron work together. What an improvement the new gravel will make. I would love to have some stumps in my front lawn area to make into planters. Of course, did not think about it when we had all the trees, fir, cottonwood, ash, and snowball, removed. Miss the shade, but they were dangerous for our homes and utility lines. Removing those old trees was such an improvement.

Hi Laura! I’m so exited to see your plans for all the new properties! It’s really inspiring and motivating to get out into my own garden, be brave and make some changes (on a much smaller 1 acre scale!) Question- have the plans changed for the ✨DreamStream✨? I am so excited to see the addition for the pond and how it evolves! No need for pet ducks, if you build it they will come! 🦆 Thank you for sharing your gardening lives with us- my fav way to start the day ☕️
