I have one for use in our small theatre & it's great for what it's great for. It has limitations, don't expect it to do what it wasn't designed for & you'll love it.

Hi, when using dry ice and the low lying fog juice for this unit do you know if it will eventually rise and set off alarm when using inside? I used ice cubes and the low lying juice and it set of two alarms because it rose. Thanks in advance
'cool' demo :-D Makes me consider these type of low foggers are maybe worth it for smaller functions, and definitely more cost effective than true dry ice machines for those. Any chance of a follow up using one in a real venue, rather than the small living room, to see how long the fog stays down and how well it spreads? Would like to see it in action with just ice as well. Ideal if stays low enough for a first dance without crazily pumping out fog throughout, as I'm guessing that it would be quite noticeable to keep it going during a quiet first dance number.
friend I bought that machine and it works with normal ice because it is my country you can't get dry ice but the instructions say that it works with normal ice but the smoke doesn't come out as it should
I've been looking at these but can't find any videos that show it used in an actual B&G 1st dance. Any chance you're looking to add the dancing on a cloud affect and would do a video ( or how about a simulation ) ?
Bought unit even a gallon of their juice. Used once with 10 lbs of dry ice, did not stay low, fogged whole venue. Cleaned, attempted to use next week and no nothing. Injected a quart of fog fluid through intake hose and still nothing. ADJ REFUSED to send me shipping label back to them, for repair. $38.00 to ship back!!!
Hy, What append to the smog when the ice melts completely? Does the machine stop or does it begin to produce diffuse vertical smoke? Thanks for the video
If you have the unit about a foot off the floor then the drainage bag can hang down. The red lever on back has to be facing outwards for the water to drain, & pushed towards Machine to close off.
Richard, the cost of these against a 'proper' dry ice machine means you could purchase multiple units & have them around the room at different spots. That also gives a better effect than just one honking great mass of ice-cloud. It does mean, as these aren't wireless, that you'll also need multiple operators though, either that or you need your running shoes on! Phil.
I used the first edition, I owned it and used it and it does not or will not give you the low laying fog, the fog rises up to the air not staying to the ground, I used for a wedding, the client was extremely upset as well as the photographer who had to re-stage the first dance(when I used for), this product should be marketed as a simi low laying fog not a real low laying fog, just saying and speaking from experience. thanks

Anyone know How long will it go on continuous before it stops and reset it self and what’s the time between reset/reheat?

How does this compare to the CHAUVET Nimbus or ADJ Entour Ice Dry for the dancing on cloud effect (big dance floor)?
