I love that Jacksonville passed on this kid and he landed in the Lions lap. I imagine the actual wait time as far as who to pick was somewhere around two seconds if that when the team went on the clock on draft night. Aidan is a ballplayer. He started out a bit uneven but most fans were patient. With young guys like him, James "The Problem" Houston, and Kirby Joseph on that side of the ball, as well as whoever they pick at six this year, that defense has a chance to be special for a while. Go get em kid, us die-hard fans have waited long enough, it's time to start winning. Win it all and you'll never pay for a lunch in that state again.

Give me the guy with the high motor over the guy with the long arms any day. He's where he belongs, in his home state playing for the local team. Hopefully it has a Hollywood-like ending.
